The Club is growing fast as evidenced by the creation of new travel teams, across several age groups, and the return of most of our existing travel teams. If you are interested in taking your soocer experience to the next level playing on a Beekman travel team is the way to go. 3 Team New Birth Years 2009 Division BU8 Coach John Scrocca May 22 Sunday 1:00-2:30 Town Center Park May 26 Thursday 6:00-7:00 Town Center Park Beekman Youth Soccer Club is excited to announce the formation of a new co-ed U8 soccer team for the 2016/2017 season...the Beekman (Name TBD). This new team will be competing in the U8 bracket of East Hudson Youth Soccer League. The team will practice 2 days a week during the Fall and Spring seasons, which includes 1 day a week with a trainer and then in the Winter it will transition to 1 practice/training night a week indoors. In addition to registration costs there will be additional fees associated with being part of a travel team such as trainer and tournament fees, fundraising, spirit wear, supplies, etc. We are looking to be a competitive team, but our season will be about more than wins and losses, it will be about focusing on individual player development as well as bringing the individual players together to play as one team. We are hosting open tryouts on May 22nd from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Town Center Park (TCP). A second tryout may be scheduled as necessary. 4 Team New Birth Years 2008 Division BU9 Coach Dan Recktenwalt May 16 Monday 5:00-6:00 Town Center Park May 18 Wednesday 5:00-6:00 Town Center Park The Beekman Soccer Club will be starting a new Boys U9 travel team for the 2016/2017 season. We are looking for committed players who want to improve both their personal skills as well as team play. We will focus on the development of our players and team in a positive atmosphere. As a travel team, we will participate in the Beekman Cup and other local tournaments as well as our weekly games on Sundays. We will tentatively be practicing twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, and playing games on Sundays. If you have any questions, please call Dan directly.
5 Team Bandits Birth Years 2007 Division BU10 Coach Tony Cerrato Asst Coach Matt Faranda May 17 Tuesday 5:00-6:00 Beyer Field May 20 Friday 5:30-6:30 Town Center Park The Beekman Bandits are a travel soccer team that is currently competing in the BU9 age group. For the fall 2016 season, the Bandits will play in the BU10 division. The BU10 division is for children born in calendar year While the Bandits will remain largely intact, please complete the tryout registration form as a few spots may become available on the team, or if there is enough interest, a 2nd BU10 may be formed. Tryouts will be held May 17th, 5:00 6:00 at Beyer Park and May 20th 5:30 6:30 at TCP. Interested players may contact the coaches or Beekman Travel Director at travel@beekmansoccer.com.

9 Team United Birth Years 2006 Division BU11 Coach Josh Herman Jim Mackin May 17 Tuesday 6:30-7:30 Town Center Park May 20 Friday 6:30-7:30 Town Center Park Starting in the fall 2016 season, we will be forming a new BYSC boy s travel team, the Beekman United. The United will be competing in the BU11 bracket. Practices will typically be on Monday s and Wednesday s 5:30 to 7:00, with games played on Sundays. As a travel team, the United will also participate in the Beekman Cup and other local tournaments. The team will look to develop both individual skills and team play. 11 Team Crew Birth Years 2004 Division BU13 Coach Colin McComb May 23 Monday 5:30-7:00 Beyer Drive Field May 24 Tuesday 6:00-7:30 Beyer Drive Field May 26 Thursday 6:00-7:30 Doherty Park #1 Beekman Crew is a highly competative team, that will be playing U13 in the fall season. Boys with birthyears 04 and younger are welcome to tryout. The team plays year round. 8-9 league games in the fall, a futsal league in the winter, and 8-9 league games in the spring. We attend 6-8 tournaments per year. In the summer pre-season we play 3-4 friendly non-league matches. We practice 2x per week sessions per season, once per week with a qualified Quickstrike trainer. Additional functional (position based) training with Quickstrike will be 6x per season (spring and fall). Last summer the team played in the Coupe de Laval (Montreal), Memorial Day 16 we are attending the FC Delco Cup (Philadelphia), and this summer the team has brooked travel to the UK and will play friendly matches in London, Oxford, Windsor, and Salisbury. 12 Team Bombers Birth Years 2004 and 2005 Division GU13 Coach Chrissy Novak May 9 Monday 6:00-7:00 Doherty Park May 13 Friday 6:00-7:00 Doherty Park The Beekman Bombers are seeking highly skilled and committed girls born in 2004 or 2005 to play on our Girls U13 travel soccer team. During the fall and spring the Bombers will train twice each week with Quickstrike FC s Coach Craig Canavan and head coach Chrissy Novak. Fall and spring game play will be through the East Hudson Youth Soccer League. This team will play in 3-5 tournaments throughout the year and will train and play during the winter to have fun, stay fit and keep our skills sharp. Besides the BYSC registration fee, there will be minimal additional costs for extra training and tournaments, but every effort will be made to keep costs low while still providing players with a first-rate soccer experience. Limited fundraising will help defray any additional costs. The Beekman Bombers encourage all girls to participate in the sports and activities they love, and believe that life lessons can be learned on and off the soccer field. In addition to registration costs there will be additional fees associated with being part of a travel team such as trainer and tournament fees, spirit wear, supplies, etc. We are looking to be a competitive team, but our season will be about more than wins and losses, it will be about focusing on individual player development as well as the team concept. 14 Team Bulls Birth Years 2001 and 2002 Division BU16 Coach John Irwin April 29 Friday 6:00-7:30 Doherty Park #1 May 11 Wednesday 6:00-7:30 Doherty Park #1 May 13 Friday 6:00-7:30 Doherty Park #1 The Beekman Bulls are a competitive squad who will play East Hudson division 1 in the Fall of In the Spring, the team will transition to US Club Soccer Regional Premier. The team trains a minimum of 2x per week, including weekly training with Coach Craig Canavan from Quickstrike FC. The team will train and play league matches in the Fall, Winter (including futsal) and Spring. Our current players and alumni have regularly been selected to play with East Hudson Academy, ODP, and Red Bull Development Academy. Furthermore, our players are often selected to guest play with elite level academy teams, such as Quickstrike. With the changes to the age groups, the Bulls will look to optimize our talent. Based upon turnout, interest and commitment, our desire is to compete in both the 2001 and 2002 age groups based upon players age and skill set. We are interested in viewing all interested players born in either 2001 or 2002.
15 Team Fire Birth Years 2001 and 2002 Division GU16 Coach John Bocianowski May 10 Tuesday 6:00-7:30 Doherty Park #3 May 13 Friday 6:00-7:30 Town Center Park We will play GU16 Division 1. With everyone entering high school, for the Fall, the team will not have practices during the week. We plan to practice an hour before the Sunday games. Over the Winter we will train at The Net and play in the Girls High School bracket. The Spring we will have one practice a week and Sunday games. We plan to play in 3 outdoor tournaments (locations vary) and several indoor tournaments over the Winter. We are focused on player development. 16 Team Pumas Birth Years 2000 and before Division GHS Contact Izzy Lauria May 3 Tuesday 6:00-7:30 Doherty Park May 6 Friday 6:00-7:30 Doherty Park The Beekman Pumas are a competitive girls soccer team that will play in East Hudson Girls High School Division 1 bracket. The team will play during the Spring 2017 season and avoid the scholastic soccer season in the Fall. Training during the winter is on Friday's at Gold's Gym at The Net that will include some indoor tournaments. Training outdoors will be on Tuesday's and Friday's evenings. The Prospects are an East Hudson U19 division 1 team. We will have workouts and training over the summer with an emphasis on getting the players ready for school tryouts. In the fall we will enter a tournament or two based on availability. Over the winter we will have training to get ready for the spring outdoor season where we are currently working on defending our championship. We are looking to fill a few roster spots. All positions will be considered.
