All busses that stay on site need to please park at the south end of the high school near the bus garage. FACILITIES No signs except for official school banners will be allowed. Bands and artificial noisemakers will not be allowed in the gymnasium. LOCKER ROOMS & TOWELS Locker room space is available. Please advise your wrestler not to leave anything in the locker room unattended. Towels will not be furnished. Locker rooms will be patrolled, but remind your athletes they are responsible for their own equipment. SEEDING BRACKET All brackets will be 8-man brackets. PRE-TOURNAMENT COACHES MEETING Oroville High School Library Saturday, February 9 th Immediately following weigh-ins *All teams must have representative at this meeting*

2 WEIGH-INS Please do not arrive before 7 am on Saturday February 9 th. Saturday, February 9 th - 8:00am Athletes will need photo ID (Driver s license, ASB card, ID card, Skyward printout). All teams report at 8:00am. Weigh in cards will be given at the weigh-ins. All wrestlers must be present at the start of weigh in and weigh in will close following the last wrestler to weigh in. We will weigh in by weight classes. Coaches are asked to remain in the bleachers during weigh-ins. Certified scales will be provided for this event. Weigh-ins must be conducted by the tournament manager or appointed representatives according to Federation Wrestling Rules. The Head Official must be present at the weigh-ins. A games committee member should be present at weigh-in if possible. A wrestler becomes an official entrant when they have successfully completed the weigh-in process. ADMISSION- Please note: Tickets are good all day. Ticket gate will open 1 hour prior to wrestling. All spectators, or anyone not on the pass list, will be required to wear a wristband issued at the gate. Prices per WIAA Guidelines Adults/Student without ASB Card $10.00 Student w/asb/child/senior $7.00 Acceptable passes: WIAA Lifetime, WSSAAA and WSCA Passes **NO OTHER PASSES WILL BE ACCEPTED** PASSES (1) pass for each wrestling participant and alternate (8) passes will be admitted to cheerleading staff as long as they are in uniform. Cheerleaders will have floor access. Each school will be limited to a maximum of four (4) at mat side. Their names must appear on the pass gate list. They are not to pound on the floor or mats during actual wrestling. (1) Administrator/supervisory pass (1) Bus driver pass per team (1) Cheerleading coach/advisor pass (1) student manager pass (1) School photographer pass and (1) school newspaper reporter pass may be obtained upon presentation of a letter of authorization on school letterhead. News media and photographers- only those approved by the tournament director will be allowed mat side. (2) Coaches passes. If a school has three (3) to nine (9) participants, then (3) coaches passes will be issued. A school with ten (10) or more participants will be issues four (4) coaches passes. If you have more coaches than pass allocations, you will need to purchase tickets for the extra coaches. 3 STATE QUALIFIERS The first three finishers in each weight class will qualify for the State Wrestling Tournament to be held in the Tacoma Dome February 15 th and 16 th. The 4 th place finisher will become the alternate at the state tournament, and will be used in the event that there is a scratch by a higher placer from their district only. OFFICIALS To be determined by the WIAA. Federation overtime and sudden death rules will apply to matches ending in a draw. For the Championship Finals two officials will be used. PROTESTS Any protests at the tournament will be presented to the Tournament Director and he will confer with the Tournament Committee. Their decision is final. TOURNAMENT/TEAM SCORING All tournament scoring will be as stated in the National Federation rule book. 1 st Place- 16 points 2 nd Place- 12 points 3 rd Place- 9 points 4 th Place- 7 points 5 th Place- 5 points 6 th Place- 3 points WITHDRAWAL OF QUALIFIERS Any school that intends to withdraw a qualified participant should contact Daphne or daphne.booker@oroville.wednet as soon as possible to allow time to contact alternates. TIMETABLE OF EVENTS 8:00- Official Weigh-ins/Skin Checks 9:00- Coaches Meeting immediately following in HS library 10:00- First Round begins - Round Two: Championship Semi-Finals & Consolation Quarter-Finals - Round Three: Consolation Semi-Finals - Round Four: Championship Finals (1 st /2 nd ) and Consolation Finals (3 rd /4 th ) will be wrestled at the same time. One mat (1 st /2 nd ) and one mat (3 rd /4 th ) will be wrestled for each weight class. The next weight class will not start until both matches are completed. AWARDS Round One: Championship Quarter Finals Round Two: Championship Semi Finals & Consolation Quarter Finals Round Three: Consolation Semi Finals Round Four: Consolation finals and Championship finals Medals will be awarded to the top (3) wrestlers at each weight class.

4 We will wrestle the finals on two (2) mats. Please tell your wrestlers to be in uniform or warm ups during the award presentations. No street clothes will be allowed. The 106 pound awards will be presented after the 113 pound match, 113 pound awards will be presented after the 120 pound match, etc. Immediately after each award presentation, the top three (3) placers will report to the photograph area and have their picture taken for the Mat Classic program. Head coverings (hats/hoodies/stocking caps/etc.) and sunglasses will not be allowed. Only official team apparel is allowed for the photograph. WRESTLING AREA Only wrestlers, coaches, officials, and designated event staff are permitted in the wrestling area. Spectator seating is limited to the designated bleachers in the balcony. No one will be permitted to stand along the mats, including coaches, wrestlers, or spectators. Only media photographers with proper credentials will be allowed mat side (If they become coaches or cheerleaders, they will lose their floor privileges). School photographers are not allowed mat side. Video cameras of any kind will not be allowed on the gym floor. CONCESSIONS Concessions will be provided by the Oroville Granby Club and will be available from 10AM- 3PM. HOSPITALITY ROOM There will be a hospitability room for all coaches, bus drivers, and event staff located in the Staff Lounge starting at 8am. MAT CLASSIC TICKETS Mat Classic tickets will be sold after the consolation semi-finals are completed. Ticket prices are: All-Tournament Adult/Student without ASB $32.00 All-Tournament Student/Senior Citizen/Child $23.00 Single Session and All Day Tickets can be purchased at the Tacoma Dome.
