1 March 2016 Merry Christmas! First, all classes are going exceptionally well! Second, it is really important for our dancers/parents to be punctual with your dance tuition payments. We have currently only received 50% of the dance fees that were due on November 15th! Please get those payments in and on time! Christmas Vacation The studio will be closed December 21st through January 6th. Classes resume to regular dance class schedule on Monday, January 7th. Per your request I will hold an open studio during the break, read the back page. You are scheduled to perform at McKay Creek Estates on Wednesday, December 5th, 6pm. Performances are optional Arrive in costume, ready to dance. We will begin at 6pm SHARP!

Information The following teams will be competing at The Milwaukie Dance Competition: Mini Traveling Team Elementary Traveling Team Jr. Traveling Team Mini Esprit (hip-hop) Youth Krew Jr. Krew Jr Esprit MIGHT get to compete or exhibition your jazz routine TBD Where: Bus: Load Bus: Saturday, January 12th Milwaukie High School Yes! We will load at Chamber of Commerce more details to come Guessing 5am To date we have absolutely NO information regarding when the competition opens, costs, etc. We will get that information to you ASAP. Milwaukie will not close their registration until December 20th. Your group mom will be in contact with you regarding; Arrival Time Helper moms, we are limited to 5 per group When it is possible I will communicate: Floor time Order of performance Arrival time for ALL dancers NOTE: I have attached an Alternative Transportation form to be filled out by ALL dancers. This is the only way I know how to keep an eye on kids and not loose a dancer. Please be punctual in returning the form. 4 Mini Pom Class The studio will be offering dancers (and non-dancers) to learn more about Pom. After watching PHS s, Rhythmic Mode perform their pom routine we have received requests to learn this new dance venue. This is what you need too know: It s not: Pom is: Who: Pom IS NOT CHEERLEADING. Although Cheerleading uses pom, this form of dance (pom) is about dancing tight, fast and strong and not to be confused with Cheerleading. Athletic, fast and requires some stunting, tumbling and very tight and fast movements! We will teach two age groups at the same time. Youth 2nd to 5th grade Jr s 6th to 8th grade Warm-up, and drills together, then the groups will be separated. Wednesdays, 5:45-6:30pm January 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th Where: Class is: Jr. Jam Dance Studio, 435 SE 1st, Pendleton Tumbling, drills, stunting and a little dance.
