Chapter 1- Bored It was a hot summer day and the Zuckerman s farm was quiet and peaceful for the first time ever since the miracle had happened. The horses were eating hay, the sheep were getting shaved for the summer and Wilbur and Charlotte were quietly talking about what to do today. Charlotte told Wilbur that maybe they could just talk and play games, but Wilbur found that boring. Wilbur thought of playing hide and seek, but Charlotte said that the pig pen was too small. They were silent for a moment. They didn t have anything to do this summer. They were very bored. After a while Wilbur saw Lurvy coming. He had a book in his hands. Wilbur was curious. Lurvy sat down on a stool and started to read. His book was about two friends running away from home and ending up going on a dangerous adventure. And just then Charlotte had an idea

Chapter 2-An Idea Charlottes s eyes lit up. She quickly told Wilbur what her plan was to have fun. She said: I have an idea. Let s sneak out over night and have some fun. Wilbur said: Great idea Charlotte, but how can we get out of the pig pen? Leave that to me said Charlotte. Wilbur just smiled. They started to talk about all the wonderful places they could visit. Just then Templeton came around the corner. Wilbur and Charlotte froze. Templeton asked: What are you talking about? Nothing! Wilbur and Charlotte said together. Templeton flicked his nose and then he said: Fine, but just know that I ll be watching you. Then he disappeared into the ground. Charlotte sighed: Phew. That was close. she said in a serious tone. Yeah. Wilbur said. We have to be careful and quiet about this. he added. They were quiet for a moment. Charlotte was just about to add an important detail, but she saw that Wilbur was fast asleep on his manure pile. Charlotte just smiled and went to work on her plan.

Chapter 3- On The Run When Wilbur woke up he realized that Charlotte was working on her web. He asked: What are you doing Charlotte? I m making my web sticky so flies can stick to it and I can eat them when we get back home she told him. Oh, that s neat Charlotte Wilbur said. Now come on and eat all the food you can, so you will be full for the trip Charlotte told Wilbur. OK Charlotte said Wilbur and went off to eat his food. After a while it was dark. The animals looked tired and ready to sleep at any time. Even Templeton, who had been watching Wilbur and Charlotte all day long was sleepy. Wilbur wanted to go, but Charlotte said that he had to be patient. Wilbur wasn t very happy. He didn t like to wait. But he stayed strong anyway. When night stroke Charlotte watched every animal fall asleep. First the sheep, then the goose and gander, and their little goslings, too. After that the cows and the horses. Just Templeton wasn t asleep. They waited for Templeton. It took almost one hour for Templeton to fall asleep, but finally he closed his eyes and went to sleep. Wilbur listened to see if everybody was actually asleep. He said: All clear. Good said Charlotte. Lets move she added.

Charlotte quickly went down to the pig pen and went in front of the gate. She turned her back and suddenly a thick strong thread shot out and hit the gate. It made a loud sound. They froze for a moment. They listened to see if anybody had woken up by the loud noise. No sound. Charlotte quickly pulled the thread and the gate shot out and hit the wall. It made a huge BANG sound. This time a light flickered all the way from the Zuckerman s house. Wilbur stood on his feet with his eyes wide open to see if anybody was coming. They waited. Then the light turned off again. They quickly ran out of the barn and went all the way to the orchard. They started to discuss where to go. They decided to go to the beach first. So they began to walk all the way to the beach. They were very happy and excited, but little did they know that Templeton had woken up by the noise and started to follow them. Haha Templeton said. Stupids! They thought they could outsmart the wonderful and intellegant Templeton! Well let s see about that then he snickered. And so the journey began.

Chapter 4- A Huge Wave While Wilbur and Charlotte were walking towards the beach they started talking about what would happen if anybody realized they went missing, well, just Wilbur of course. Nobody knew that Charlotte even existed. Well, except Fern. Fern! I forgot that she d notice that I went missing Wilbur cried. Don t worry Charlotte said calmly. We will only be gone until the end of the day she added. She would have to come home from school, do her homework and then come to the barn Charlotte said quickly. We would be back before she even finishes her homework she said. Well thats a relief Wilbur said happily. Templeton had overheard their conversation, but he kept following them. It was almost dawn when the two arrived at the beach. Wilbur told Charlotte to get on his back. Charlotte hopped on and hid behind Wilbur s ears. When they walked along the beach everybody stared at Wilbur. They all knew that he was the wonder pig. One young man cried out: Hey! Look everybody, it s that pig from the Zuckerman s farm. Then a woman yelled out: Mr. Zuckerman must have let him out to see the wonders of the world.

A little girl about five years old said: Mommy look! Wonder Pig! Wonder Pig! Wilbur blushed. He never thaught he would get this much attencion. He went over to a palm tree and sat down under the shadow. So, what should we do now Charlotte Wilbur said sleepily. Hmmmm. You look tired maybe we should rest Charlotte told Wilbur. No, no! I want some fun not a nap! Wilbur told Charlotte a little angrily. OK. How about we go for a swim. I know all about swimming from my cousin. Charlotte said. Great let s go then. Wilbur said excitedly. They walked to the sea shore. Wilbur tried to remember what Fern had told him about swimming. He first put his legs in the water. Then slowly his body. And before he knew it, the water was half way up his neck. He started swimming slowly. Charlotte gave him directions while he swam. Everybody was watching Wilbur swim. They were amazed that a pig could go in salty water and just swim around. After a while they were in the middle of the sea. Wilbur stopped. His feet kept going though. He stayed there for a while. Charlotte was praising him. She knew he was terrific for a beginner. But just then a giant wave came and splashed Wilbur and Charlotte at the spot. Wilbur swam for his life. He paddled and kicked, but he couldn t escape the huge wave. He still thought Charlotte was with him. He yelled:

Are you OK Charlotte! Charlotte! No answer. Charloooootte! Wilbur cried out. But before he could say anything else he was washed up by the giant wave. Meanwhile Charlotte was having her own problems. She shot out sticky webs hoping she would hit a tree and save herself. But there was only one problem. Spiders couldn t survive water! She was too weak to shoot out her webs. And before she even knew it she was washed up by the giant wave too. And so on

Chapter 5 - Lost When Wilbur woke up, he found himself on grass. He was frightened more than a mouse that saw a cat! He started to run around in circles and cry. Then, he stopped. He was supertired after swimming and kicking. He sat on the warm grass and thought to himself: I hope Charlotte s doing fine he said sadly. I would hate if something had happened to her. Before he could say anything else he was fast asleep under the burning sun. Meanwhile Charlotte was washed up near a dark, narrow city. She was still too weak to do anything, but she managed to open her eyes. She still couldn t move, but she wasn t hurt. She managed to look at a few things in the city. She realized that everybody looked the same. She thought it was rather boring, but she couldn t argue. Maybe it s not so bad she thaught. But before she passed out again the only words she could say were: Where are you Wilbur. Where are you my friend? She passed out. Meanwhile Templeton had noticed they got washed up by the wave. He rushed back to the barn to tell the others. And Fern

Chapter 6 - Charlotte Takes A Vacation When Charlotte woke up she saw that she was inside a dark room. When she walked forward to get out she hit her head: Ow! she said. Then, she realized that she was in a jar! She tried everything to get out. She pushed and wriggled, but nothing worked. Then it hit her. She just remembered that she was a spider. She turned to the jars lid and shot out a thread. She tried to shoot out more thread so it would be strong enough to push the lid. She huffed and puffed and shot out more thread than ever. Finally the thread pushed the lid and she was out. By the time the lid fell on the floor Charlotte was out of breath. She quickly crawled to the top and went down. She was just about to jump of a desk when two tall, skinny girls showed up at the door. Charlotte hid behind a desk lamp. But the two girls saw Charlotte and one girl who had a pony tail quickly grabbed her and cuffed Charlotte in her hands. Charlotte tried to escape but she knew that even if she did, the two girls were much faster and bigger, so they would have caught her in a second. Another girl who had braids, put a helmet, so little, almost as big as big as a grain of rice on Charlotte s head. The helmet had a wire that was connected to another, but a much bigger helmet. The girl with the pony tail was wearing it. Then she told Charlotte to speak.

H-he-hello. W-wh-who are you? said Charlotte, who was very frightened at the time. Suddenly Charlotte s voice came out of a machine that was connected to both helmets. Charlotte was stunned. Hello. the girl said. I m Dara and this is my friend. she spoke. Hello Dara. Charlotte said in a calm voice. Why am I here. she asked. You were passed out on the road. Dara said. We had to put you in here to keep you safe and dry. she said. Well, thank you very much Charlotte said. No problem. the girls said at the same time. So where am I? Charotte asked. Your in Şiba, it s not much of a fun place, but you could like it. Oh, in that case tell me all about it. said Charlotte The girls started telling Charlotte all about Şiba. Meanwhile, Templeton, had seen Wilbur and Charlotte get washed up by waves. He ran as quickly as his little feet could carry him to the barn. He was out of breath when he arrived, so the words he said were like this: Charlotte! huuuuh. Wilbur! huuuuh. Washed up by a huuuuuh. Giant, wave. Huuuuh. Lost, or dead he bursted out. Use your words rat! said the sheep.

Templeton took a deep breath. Wilbur and Charlotte ran away and went to the beach. And while they were swimming a giant wave washed them up. WHAT! The goose shouted. Fern s going to be depressed. added the gander. I know. said Templeton. But right now we have to wait for them and see if they re OK. he added. The animals nodded. Meanwhile Charlotte was still listening to the girls. When they finished Charlotte was smiling. She told them that Şiba sounded a little boring, but she also said that she really wanted to see the library. The girls just stood there looking frightened. Ummmm. I don t think that s a great idea. said Dara. Why not? asked Charlotte. We don t actually have animals in Şiba, just like we said, but maybe we can sneak you in. Hmmmmmm. That s not very nice, but I do love reading. she said. Lets do it. Charlotte said happily. Great. the girls said. Dara quickly put Charlotte in her pocket. They went outside and walked to the library. When they arrived they went in and Dara quickly grabbed her favorite book and went to the elevator. They went in and pressed the five hundreth button.

We usually go up to the very top because nobody actually comes there. Dara said. Which is perfect to hide you. she added. Dara showed Charlotte the book in her hands. Charlotte was enchanted. She had never seen a book like this before. She loved it. It took them almost an hour to reach the top, but it was worth it when Charlotte saw the library. She almost fainted. She never wanted to leave. She first told Dara if she could read her book together. Dara accepted. Her friend was very happy too. She had brought the machine with them to understand Charlotte. The machine was small, so nobody could understand what it was. They started to read the book. Charlotte loved this place. She said it was like taking a vacation. But she also wondered how Wilbur was doing. She felt a little sad that he wasn t with him, but she could use a little me time. Maybe just a little bit though.

Chapter 7- Wilbur Becomes Bacon Again Wilbur slowly woke up. He felt tired and hurt. He was thirsty and hungry. He also felt surprisingly warm. Then, he smelt soup. He smelled carrots and other vegetables. Then he realized that he was floating in water inside a giant pot! He was frightened, stunned, he felt so many things that you couldn t count them. He kicked and squealed. But no matter what he did he couldn t escape. Suddenly, he heard foot steps. He went silent. Then the door opened. Two fat, rosy cheeked, bare footed, young boys came in. One of them yelled: Shut it pork chop! Hahahaha! the other one yelled. Wilbur gulped. He was so scared, he couldn t talk. Well, it s roast pig for dinner. a boy yelled out. Yummy. Everybody s going to love it! another said. Wilbur screamed. He didn t want to be dinner again. It was torture the last time. At least Charlotte helped. But now she wasn t even nearby. She flapped and splashed. The two boys ran out of the room. Wilbur stopped. He remembered what Charlotte said Men are very gullible. He started to collect every piece of carrot he could find in the pot and the ones that were on the table. He quickly sculpted a pig body out of carrots. He was doubtful about his plan actually working, but it was worth the try. Now he had to get out. He remembered the time that Charlotte

told him to do a backflip. He quickly bent his knees and jumped as far and as high as he could. For a second he was up in the air. Then he fell down right on his bottom. Wilbur tried to endure the pain. He didn t want the boys coming again. He sat on the floor for a minute. Then he quickly ran out of the room. He ran as fast as he could. He swept through branches and splashed in puddles. Then, he realized that the two boys who had captured him were right behind him. Wilbur knew that his plan wouldn t work. He ran so fast that his legs were just a blur. But then, he started to get tired. He ran slower and slower. Just about when the boys were going to get hold of him a rope tied Wilbur s belly and pulled him out of the way. The boys hit the ground. They cried and cried and ran to their mothers. When Wilbur opened his eyes he saw another boy smiling down at him. He screamed, but the boy said: Calm down. I m not a bad person. I m here to save you. Wilbur calmed down. The boy untied Wilbur and said: Hello. My name is Şlopgen. Wilbur nodded to say hello. He felt safe with Şlopgen. Now listen here said Şlopgen. This is a dangerous place for you. In fact you re lucky I adore pigs. Wilbur went silent. He thought He adores pigs. Just like Fern Look. I can keep you in my house until the Summer Feast ends, but after that you have to leave for your own good. Şlopgen told Wilbur in a serious voice. Wilbur nodded. Şlopgen quickly picked Wilbur up and ran to his house. Which was rather strange. It was like a

hill, but with windows and doors. And the inside of it looked so much bigger than the outside. Şlopgen led Wilbur to a room. It had a huge rug on the floor. Here. You can sleep on the rug. And don t worry it s very comfortable. Şlopgen said in a friendly tone. Wilbur went to the rug. He sat on it. And Şlopgn was right. It was very comfortable. And before he knew it he was fast asleep.

Chapter 8 - The Hidden Book It was almost dark. And Dara and Charlotte were still in the library. Dara s friend had left, but the two were still reading. Of course they did other things, but they mostly read books. They realized that it was too late and they had to go. Just when they were going to leave, the lights turned off. What s happening? Charlotte asked. We ve been here too long Dara said. They locked the library. Oh no! Charlotte cried out. Don t worry said Dara in a calm voice. That made Charlotte feel a little bit better. Asuming that she was trapped inside a giant library. Dara lit a candle. She put Charlotte on her palm and searched for an exit. Since the elevator was locked too, they were stuck on the five hundredth floor. They kept looking, but all there was, were books and old newspapers. That s basically all you can get in a library. They searched for almost an hour. They decided to give up. It was a good thing that Dara told her friend to tell her parents that she was going to stay at her house for some research, but Charlotte was the one who was worried most. He knew Wilbur was a little unstable. She was worried if he was in trouble or not. Then again Wilbur was a grown pig. Then she thaught about the barn. What will we tell The Zuckerman s. she thought. More importantly, what will we tell Fern. she thought. Her heart started to beat faster than ever. She was hungry for blood and flies. She

worried about Wilbur. She was worried about Fern. She started to breathe heavily. Then, she stopped. She heard a noise. What was that? asked Charlotte. I just hit a shelf. Dara replied. They didn t notice at first, but when Dara hit the shelf a strange book fell out. Dara grabbed it. It wasn t like any other book in Şiba. The title was written in huge words. It said: LATA Hmmmmmm Dara thought. What is it? aked Charlotte. This book Dara replied. What about it? asked Charlotte. Well we don t have any books like this here in Şiba. They mostly talk about our country. Dara said. Well then let s read it and find out. Charlotte cried out in excitement. Dara sat down on a chair and read out loud. She read and read and read. Twenty minutes past and Dara finished the book. She understood everything. But then, she got mad. So we have been stuck in this lousy country thinking that there was nothing else around us for nothing! she yelled out. Is the president mad! she cried. She breathed heavily.

Dara, I know it s bad, but right now the only thing we need to do is get out of this library. Dara calmed down. I guess you re right. she said. Dara put the book in her bag and walked over to the elevator. She pushed the button. It didn t work. She pushed it again. Nothing. And again. It didn t open. Finally she yelled out without thinking: Open door! Open! Suddenly the doors opened. The girls were stunned. Dara quickly grabbed Charlotte and they went in. They waited fifty seconds to get down. They quickly went to the doors. Dara pulled and pulled, but it didn t work. Then Charlotte crawled down on to the floor and turned her back towards the door. She shot sticky thread and it stuck to the door. She pulled really, really hard. Then, the door opened. It didn t break, but it opened. Dara stared in amazement. Come on! Charlotte yelled. Dara jumped. She grabbed Charlotte and put Charlotte in her pocket. She ran towards her house. She ran about two miles. By the time her mum opened the door Dara was breathing heavily with sweat dropping from her cheeks. Her mum put her in bed and went out of the room. Dara quickly put Charlotte in her drawer. She didn t close it completely. Just enough for Charlotte to breath. Then she went back to bed and slept soundly.

Chapter 9 - A Big Deal It was almost midnight and Wilbur was newly awake. He went to the kitchen. Şlopgen was making stew. Wilbur tried to speak, but he knew that Şlopgen couldn t understand him. But, surprisingly, Şlopgen adored pigs so much he actually understood Wilbur. Wilbur was shocked. The only person who could understand him was Fern. And that hit him. Fern! She must be so worried that me and Charlotte went missing. he thaught. He started to run around squealing. Şlopgen stopped him. Whats the matter? he asked in a calm voice. My friend Fern. She knows I went missing. She must be so sad. Wilbur cried. Don t worry. said Şlopgen in a calm voice. We will find her after the summer feast. he said. Wilbur calmed down. He sat down and thought of what Fern would be like if she noticed he was gone. Meanwhile at the Zuckerman s farm Fern was crying. She was so upset that Wilbur and Charlotte were gone. She cried and cried until Mrs. Zuckerman came and gave her a piece of cake. Then Fern cried even more. The animals, especially Templeton were about to crack. They swore to each other that they wouldn t tell anything to Fern. Finally one of the sheep bursted out:

Wilbur and Charlotte snuck out of the barn. While they were at the beach they went in the water and got washed up by a giant wave. Fern was silent for a moment. The animals were scared. Then she bursted into tears. Oh Wilbur! Oh Charlotte! Please come back! she cried. The animals were very sad, but they knew they had to tell Fern about them one way or another. Fern sat on a stool and stared at Wilbur s pigpen. She remembered the first day she ever got him. She remembered all the great times. Then she looked at Charlotte s web. She could still see the word written on the web. The words that saved Wilbur. She buried her head in her arms and started to cry. Wilbur snapped. He felt sad, sad that he was away from the barn. He was sad that he was away from Charlotte. He was sad that he was away from his family. He slowly got up and went to eat his food. He munched slowly and sadly. Suddenly, somebody knocked on the door. Hide! Şlopgen yelled at Wilbur. Wilbur quickly ran to the bathroom and hid in the bath tub. Şlopgen opened the door and the two boys who had tried to capture Wilbur showed up. Wilbur squealed. What was that sound? asked a boy. Uhh. It s the pipes settling. Şlopgen bursted. Really said a boy suspiciously. Really replied Şlopgen. OK. said the boy. I believe you. he said.

Since Latan s weren t very smart they actually believed him. So, why are you here? asked Şlopgen. We re here to remind you about the Summer Feast. The boy said. Let s go. he added. OK, I ll be right there. Şlopgen said. Good. another boy said. They glanced at Şlopgen s house and slammed the door behind them. Şlopgen quickly ran over to the bathroom and told Wilbur: Now listen here and listen closely he started. I want you to stay here and don t go outside no matter what. Got it? he said firmly. Wilbur nodded. Şlopgen smiled and quickly ran outide and locked the door behind him. Wilbur got out of the bathroom. He wondered what a Summer Feast was. He went to the kitchen and looked out the window. He saw a lot of people sitting on a giant table under a huge tree. Wilbur s eyes widened. He had never seen so many people gathered around eating together. He looked closer. There he saw a huge tray. But, what was on the tray he was curious about. On the tray he saw a a.an animal. And the animal was a weird looking duck. It was a familiar shape. He thaught it looked like the gander at the barn cellar. Then he realized that it was a goose! Wilbur knew that it wasn t the real goose, but he was still sad. He ran to the door and then stopped. He knew that he wasn t supposed to go outside. He was feeling a little hungry after he saw the feast even though he had just

eaten. He went to his bowl and quickly ate. Then he sat on the couch and waited for Şlopgen. Chapter 10 - A Big Journey To A Little City It was almost dawn when the feast was over. Şlopgen quickly rushed to his home and saw Wilbur on his couch. Wilbur rushed to him and looked in despair. Alright. It s over. You can go now. he said. Wilbur smiled. Then, he acted something out, hoping that Şlopgen would understand him. Şlopgen thought for a moment. He wasn t very good at that. Şlopgen s eyes lit up. Oh I get it. You want me to ask you anything and you will do it he bursted out. Wilbur nodded. No, no I couldn t Şlopgen said. Wilbur pleaded. Fine. If you insist. said Şlopgen rolling his eyes. A few months a go there was this shadow. A shadow of a city. he said slowly. I want you and me to climb that mountain. He pointed at the tall mountain and see that city. Wilbur froze for a moment and then nodded.

Great let s go now. Şlopgen said. Şlopgen quickly grabbed Wilbur (well Wilbur mostly just ran alongside him) and ran to the mountain. It wasn t very hard to climb, but it was a long trip. Şlopgen found an old picaxe and rope. He tied the rope around Wilbur and used the picaxe to climb himself. A few hours later they were at the very middle. Şlopgen wanted to give up and since he was a Latan he wasn t good at exercising. He almost fell, but he was determined to see that city. Wilbur also helped him climb up the mountain. He paddled his feet and hit the rocks to climb. His feet were very sore. Then, Wilbur accidentaly pushed a huge rock and it fell all the way down the mountain. The rock quickly rolled over to Lata. And before it could crush anything or anyone the rock was stopped. Şlopgen didn t know by who or what, but he was relieved to see his city safe and sound. They carried on climbing up the mountain. After about two hours they finally reached the top. They collapsed on the floor and rested. Ten minutes later they were up. Wilbur wandered around while Şlopgen was looking for the city. Over there! he yelled. Wilbur found a huge leaf. A leaf big enough to hold him and a giant Latan. Şlopgen smiled. He sat on the leaf and Wilbur lay down beside him. Şlopgen pushed the leaf to the edge and then before they knew it they were sliding down the mountain. Şlopgen screamed in amusement while Wilbur was hanging on for his life. He never experienced this before and he didn t like it at all. They swooshed through fallen branches and dodged spiky rocks. Wilbur was about to cry when they finally reached

down the mountain. Şlopgen was smiling and Wilbur had tears in his eyes. Then they were finally at the city. It was very, very narrow. Şlopgen barely fit between the road and the sidewalks. They were looking around the city when Şlopgen bumped into a girl. And that girl was Dara. Charlotte fell out of her pocket and fell on Wilbur s head. Wilbur noticed her. Charlotte! he yelled. I missed you so, so, so, so, so much! he said in excitement. Charlotte hugged Wilbur s ear. Dara and Şlopgen were still on the floor. When they got up their eyes met. They shook hands and introduced themselves. Then, Wilbur told Charlotte all about his journey. Charlotte was shocked. She thanked Şlopgen for saving Wilbur. Ummmm. said Dara. Where did you two come from? she asked. We came from Lata. Şlopgen said. It s right across that mountain. he said. Well, why did the people keep this from us then? Dara asked. Şlopgen shrugged. Let s go to the mayor. Dara said. Follow me she added. After a few minutes they reached the big house. They went through the door and walked up to the mayor

Chapter 11- The Truth The mayor was filling out some paper work when the door slammed open. We re here for the truth! yelled Dara. Wh..what truth. And what do you think you re doing here. the mayor cried out. The truth about the city across the mountain! cried Dara. The mayor gasped. How did you figure that out said the mayor, who seemed quite scared. We found a hidden book in the library and read all about it. And those two just crashed into the sidewalk. Dara said. The mayor sighed. OK. You win. It s time for truth. said the mayor in despair. The kids and the animals smiled. They watched the mayor slowly go up to the roof top. He turned on the microphone and suddenly everybody stopped what they were doing and looked at the mayor. The mayor spoke:

Citizens of Şiba! he yelled. I didn t want it to come to this point, but it s time for you know the truth. he said. Everybody listened carefully. As you all know there s a mountain that keeps this city from the outer world, but nobody ever knew what the outer world was. he said. And behind that mountain is another city. said the mayor in fright. Everybody gasped, they screamed, but Darfil (Dara s friend) smiled with pride. Quiet! yelled the mayor. I know you re mad and confused, but to make it up to you I will break down the mountain that covers the moat, so you will be able to see this new city. he said. Everybody cheered and Dara and Şlopgen were jumping with joy. Wilbur and Charlotte on the other hand were a bit sad. They loved their adventure, but they did miss their home. They decided to go back home after the mountain broke down. They waited. And in a few hours a huge bulldozer came and teared down the mountain. The Latan s gasped and the Şiban s cheered. Dara and Şlopgen were intruducing people to one and other. And Wilbur and Charlotte were getting ready to go home. It was going to be a long way. They said goodbye to their friends and went off. While they were walking, Wilbur told his story. His story about the carrot pig, Şlopgen saving him, the Summer Feast and the journey over the mountain. Charlotte was surprised. He was very proud of

Wilbur. They walked along talking about home and their new friends. Chapter 12 There s No Place Like Home A few hours later they were at the sea shore. Wilbur was afraid that Charlotte would fall off again, but Charlotte had a plan. She stuck sticky web on Wilbur s back and jumped on him. Wilbur smiled and went into the sea. He slowly began to go further and further. Then, the wind blew. The waves started splashing on the rocks. Wilbur went even further and then. The same wave that made them crash before washed them up right on the spot. Wilbur paddled for safety and Charlotte jumped away from the water. They couldn t escape. Which was exactly what they wanted. And then Wilbur let go and made the wave wash them up. A few minutes later Charlotte saw land. Their land! She also saw people waiting there. Charlotte was suspicious. In about thirty seconds they were washed up on the shore. Then Wilbur and Charlotte saw the people waiting for him. Those people were his friends and family, even Templeton was there. Fern cried out: Wilbur! You re back oh my Wilbur she cried out. She hugged Wilbur tightly and whispered to Charlotte: I missed you too Charlotte.Welcome back she said.

Fern let go of Wilbur and let the others say something. Mr Zuckerman said: I don t know how he did this, but he s in trouble bursted out Mr Zuckerman. Oh! How wonderful he s safe! cried out Mrs. Arable. The others just smiled. Suddenly, Lurvy grabbed Wilbur and put him in his crate. They were finally going home. When they arrived to the barn the animals cheered. They were happy that Wilbur and Charlotte were back. When they put Wilbur back in his pen and Charlotte went up to her web. There were about twenty flies stuck to it. She started eating. She was famished after all of those days without food. Her stomach was bloated when she finished her feast. Then, she crawled up to her web and went to sleep. Meanwhile Wilbur was talking to Fern. He told her all about his and Charlotte s adventures. Fern was shocked, but she was happy to see her friends back in the barn. She patted Wilbur on the head and laughed. Wilbur smiled back at her and went off to eat his food. He munched the slop with delight. His belly was full. He had weary eyes and he was tired. He fell on his manure pile fast asleep. Fern went away. And that was their adventure. The two were happy that they were back home. It sure was a fascinating and exciting adventure just like Charlotte had told Wilbur. The two animals were still thinking of their new friends. They felt like the luckiest animals in the world. The End
