Information Packet Dynamite Allstars Season Oakmont Ave Gaithersburg, MD (301) Welcome to the DYNAMITE FAMILY! #DYNAMITESTRONG

INTRODUCTION Welcome to the season! We are very excited to work with all athletes, new and returning. Dynamite prides itself on being a small gym (limited to 125 competitors) providing technical expertise, attention to every athlete, as well as a focus on tumbling (as a sister gym to Dynamite Gymnastics Center). We pride ourselves on having an approachable and family-focused staff. Please do not hesitate to approach our staff--from coaches to upper-management--with anything you may need. Thanks again for choosing DYNAMITE! THE SPORT OF ALLSTAR CHEERLEADING Allstar Cheerleading is a sport that has grown and changed tremendously since it began. The expectations and guidelines have become more difficult and challenging for athletes and coaches. Allstar Cheerleading is made up of a variety of skills and abilities. Each routine is set to music and composed of elements including tumbling, jumping, stunting and dance. Each routine is judged at a competition based on difficulty, technique, execution and entertainment value. Please remember that Allstar Cheerleading is a TEAM sport, which requires commitment and dedication. Each team relies heavily on every teammate attending ALL practices, choreography dates, events and competitions.

FACILITY Dynamite Allstars has its own cheer and tumbling gym located in Gaithersburg, MD. The facility is equipped with one full USASF regulation size spring floor, a tumble track, rod floor, trampoline, additional sections of spring floor, dead mat and other specialized tumbling equipment. STAFF Our coaching staff uphold the high standards of our program. Our team coaches and class instructors have immense knowledge of the sport of Allstar Cheerleading and gymnastics. Along with our staff s impeccable knowledge of the sport, all staff members are certified through USASF, criminal background checked, and required to attend monthly training and staff meetings. This ensures everyone is up to date on all current requirements of the sport.

TRYOUTS Dynamite Allstars offers free tryouts to ascertain your athlete s abilities. We welcome all athletes to try out and see whether or not your athlete will fit in the Dynamite family. Our flexible tryout schedule is open to athletes of all ages and skill levels. We are offering two days so as to accommodate all athletes; however, feel feel to contact us if you are unable to make our designated times for tryouts. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, 5/20/2017 from 1:00-6:00pm and Sunday, 5/21/2017 from 12:00-5:00pm At tryouts, your athlete will be expected to show his or her highest-level of tumbling. This includes standing tumbling, running tumbling, and one specialty pass. Your athlete will also need to inform tryout instructors as to whether they are a base, back spot, or flyer. As flying positions on teams are extremely competitive and limited, anyone trying out to be a flyer will be asked to show ALL body positions on BOTH legs! Flyers with inadequate body positions will need to improve their skill sets before being deemed appropriate for active status. Body positions include: Heel stretch, Scale, Scorpion, Arabesque, Bow and Arrow, and Needle. Our skilled and professional coaching staff will place your athlete considering a myriad of variables with the ultimate goal of building a strong, successful team. Please trust our coaches in making these decisions. TRYOUT PAPERWORK All parents and athletes must fill out a tryout registration packet to be placed on a team/level. The registration packet will be posted on the website and hard copies will be available at the check in desk at tryouts. Athletes must have completed paperwork in order to be evaluated. REGISTRATION Registration paperwork and fee is due by May 31st (early registrations would be a huge help to reduce a glut of admin work on May 31st) and tuition will be auto-billed on the first of the month starting on June 1st. Parents will questions about registrations may contact Patrice at patrice@dynamitegc.com.

TEAM PLACEMENT TIMELINE OVERVIEW May 23rd -- Announce LEVEL placements* May 24th -- Informational Meeting for all Team Parents & Athletes (6:30pm) May 25, 26, 30 & By-the-day BLOCK training (optional) May 31st -- Registration paperwork and fee is due June Level practices (regular team practice begins for D-Spark and Flares) By June 30th -- All Team placements will have been announced** *Note that once an athlete has been designated at a level, as long as they maintain their skills, they will be guaranteed a placement on that level Team. **Coaches have requested two weeks of Level Practice to assess stunt abilities and other skills as part of their roster selection. Some teams, where there is no question of placement (i.e., D-Spark and Flares), will be announced on May 23rd. Other Teams will be announced as they become full; however, all Teams will be finalized by June 30th. LEVEL PLACEMENTS Athletes will be evaluated at tryouts and judged on certain criteria (including, but not limited to, tumbling and flyer flexibility). On Tuesday, May 23rd, level placements will be posted on the Dynamite Allstars website by number. If you forget your athlete s number, please call the gym or the Allstar Director at courtney@dynamiteallstarscheer.com Official teams will be announced by June 30th; some will be announced sooner (on a rolling basis) as teams are filled. Please be patient as we are granting our coaches as much time as they need (up until June 30th) to evaluate athletes skills and determine stunt groups. As we all know, Allstar Cheerleading is a TEAM sport and we are committed to making the best decisions for the benefit of all of our athletes. BLOCK TRAINING Dynamite is building on the success of its class options to help its athletes. Beginning on May 25th, we will begin offering TEAM ONLY Blocks. Athletes will always have the option of taking supplemental classes (with non-team kids); however, in the interest of helping our athletes work towards teamspecific tumbling, strength and flexibility goals, we are introducing Blocks. During these training sessions, athletes can work on the skills THEY need. For example, athletes who need strength and/or flexibility training specifically for flying can register for the Flying/Basing block. Blocks include: Tumbling, Jumps & Plyometrics; and Basing & Flying (strength and/or flexibility). Similar to our classes, these blocks will be 1.5 hours (15 minutes of warm-up followed by 1 hours and 15 minutes of focused instruction). To help parents driving long distances, two blocks will be offered back-to-back (3 hours). During the school year, most team athletes will be required to attend one day (2 blocks) of Block training in addition to their two mandatory team practices days.

On May 25, 26, 30 and 31, blocks are offered BY THE DAY ($15 for one block; $25 for two). Dynamite will cap the number of spaces in each block to provide specialized attention to each athlete. Please contact Patrice at with any requests or questions. We will open registration on May 23rd. Register online via the parent portal ( from among the following options: FOR MINI 2, YOUTH, JUNIOR AND SENIOR TEAMS TUMBLING: Beginner (level 1); Intermediate (levels 2); Advanced (3-5) FLYING & BASING; JUMPS & PLYO: Mini 2/Youth; Junior/Senior Block # / Date May 25 May 26 May 30 May 31 Block #1* (5:30-7pm) Block #2 (7-8:30pm) Flying/Basing Jumps & Plyo Flying/Basing Jumps & Plyo Tumbling only Tumbling only Tumbling only Tumbling only *We may offer additional Tumbling blocks during Block #1 contingent on demand and coach availability. Practices during this period will be split into 2 parts per day--blocks followed by Level Practice. Blocks will be Flying/Basing or Jumps/Tumbling. These practices are critical for anyone looking to be placed on a team, and will allow athletes of similar skill sets to work together. This will also allow coaches to build team rosters. The schedule for Level Practices will determined by May 23rd. By June 30th, all placement for the cheer season will have been determined.

PLACEMENT RATIONALE Be aware that changes may be made to team compositions throughout the season. Our coaching staff makes these determinations to achieve the best outcome for the entire team. In the interest of fairness, we ask parents to refrain from attempting to influence our coaches decisions. The score sheet is more technical now than it has ever been. As 75% of team skills is still in the high range, in order to be competitive teams should have % of skills needed. Each team member is suggested to have ALL/MOST level required skills, including a specialty or elite skill. Coaches will occasionally make exceptions to level requirements to make sure each team is well rounded and will be successful in every section of the score sheet. Please leave these decisions to the coaching staff. Flyers only make up about 25% of a team. This is an extremely competitive position. ALL flyers must possess body control, flexibility and skill. Bases make up about 75% of the team. EVERY athlete should learn to be a successful base. The Dynamite coaching staff has full discretion when building team rosters. Please trust our staff in making these decisions. Trust the process. Cheerleading is not like school. It is unlikely that every athlete should move up a level every year. In the interest of safety and fairness, athletes are expected to demonstrate mastery of level appropriate skills before moving up as well as demonstrating mastery of current required skills (which may be based on broad or limited roles on the team) before competing. Perfection before Progression leads to confident and well-rounded athletes in every aspect of cheerleading, along with technically correct skills. It also creates a safer skill building environment. Please remember that team placements are subject to change in the event that an athlete s skills diminish over the summer months. Alternatively, athletes will be given the opportunity to improve and learn new skills during the summer by taking part in skills-specific training. We will offer strength, flexibility, tumbling, flying, basing, and jumping training Blocks so athletes can work on their deficits and prepare for the fall. We strongly believe that athletes will get out what they put in--and the summer is a great opportunity for athletes to advance more rapidly than is possible during the school year. SUMMER PRACTICE (July 1 - August 28th) Allstar Cheerleading is a full year sport. This means that teams practice year-round, including over the summer months. Dynamite will also offer half-year teams starting in October. We understand that families go on vacation over the summer. All planned vacations/absences must be documented in Teamsnap. This year, each team will have a designated coach to deal with all administrative paperwork, processes and issues. Your athlete s admin coach must be informed of all planned absences, so they can plan practices accordingly. As most of the time during the fall season is spent working on routines, the summer months are a crucial time to work with stunt groups and to bond as a team. Over the summer months, the coaches work on level appropriate stunting skills to prepare for the fall. It is extremely important that stunt groups work

together and master all level appropriate stunting skills before choreography. This allows our teams to be well prepared and ready to learn advanced and highly competitive routines. If your athlete will miss the majority of summer practices, their position and placement may be adjusted to better fit the needs of the team. Additionally, if your child is placed on a level in May, he or she must retain those same skills for the entire year. Athletes who gain or lose skills throughout the summer may be moved onto a team more appropriate for their skill level, at the discretion of the coaches and Allstar Director. From July 1 - August 28, teams will have one designated weekday as their MANDATORY team practice day. In addition to their team practice day and to maximize competitiveness, Dynamite recommends that teams athletes attend Block training days throughout the summer months*. Athletes and parents will be charged monthly tuition for their team s designated practice day and additional fees (based on team tuition pricing) for monthly Block registration. Days and times of team practices and blocks will be announced by the week of June 30th at the latest. *TOTAL summer practice days recommended: Preteam = 1 day; Levels 1 & 2 = 2 days; Level 3+ = 3 days. FALL PRACTICE GUIDELINES All athletes are expected to be in attendance for every practice. Prearranged, scheduled events (i.e., weddings, doctor s appointments, school events) that result in missed practices or tardiness must be documented in Teamsnap at the beginning of the season or when scheduled. In addition to updating their athlete s attendance in Teamsnap, parents are required to notify their athlete s admin coach in the event of any absences or instances of tardiness. While we expect changes to scheduled practices to be minimal, the Dynamite coaching staff may cancel, add and/or change practice days/times. We recognize that parents are busy; hence, if a scheduling change is deemed necessary, we will provide as much notice as possible. For the safety of our athletes, we expect 100% attendance during the two weeks prior to competitions. Absences will result in a case-by-case review to determine the nature of the absence and whether or not the absent athlete will be permitted to compete in the upcoming competition. We will do our best to be fair in this process; however, these decisions are solely the discretion of the Allstar Director and coaches. During the 2 weeks preceding competitions, Teams will have specific pre-selected extra practice days (most likely an additional weekday). Please note that these extra practices are also mandatory. Please be sure to be available on your team s extra practice day; do not schedule other events on these days. These extra practice days will also be used for practices if we are unable to have Sunday practice due to competition. Each team will know their normal team practice days, extra practice days and competition dates at the beginning of the season. All dates dates be added to Teamsnap. It is the responsibility of parents and/or athletes to always know when they are expected to be at practice. Athletes are expected to be at the gym, properly dressed, and ready to warm up at least 5 minutes prior to their scheduled practice time. If an athlete is not picked up from practice on time, a $10 late fee will be charged for every 10 minutes; payable to the coach on late pick-up duty.

Tumbling time during practices will be spent perfecting their teams level appropriate tumbling. If an athlete wants to learn new tumbling skills, Dynamite offers Block Training and/or classes throughout the year. Coaches reserve the right to suggest or require additional Block Training or classes to supplement team practice if an athlete is failing to keep up with his or her team responsibilities. FALL PRACTICE LAYOUT Fall practice begins August 28th. Block schedules for summer and fall will be posted after level practices, once team practice schedules are finalized.

PARENT VIEWING AREA/LOBBY Dynamite Allstars strives to maintain a positive and encouraging environment for all its families. Negativity will not be tolerated. Gossiping, negative remarks, and disrespectful behavior in the lobby and/or parent viewing area will not be tolerated. Any parents who have issues, questions or concerns should direct them to the Allstar Director. The parent viewing area is a privilege not a right. Parents deemed to be using the viewing area inappropriately will be placed on Drive By status. Drive By status requires parents to drop off their athlete; they are not permitted to occupy the parent viewing area. The tables and chairs in the lobby are there for the benefit of the athletes and parents. Athletes and parents are expected to take proper care of anything that belongs to the gym. Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves. GYM All athletes are expected to stay in the gym for the duration of practice. They may not enter the lobby/parent viewing area. Athletes may bring water bottles into the gym; however, they must be stored in designated cubbies as such accoutrements are hazards if left on the floor. Parents are not permitted to enter the gym, unless directly asked by a coach or instructor. No exceptions. If you need to speak with a coach, you may talk to them at the end of practice in the lobby. There will be absolutely no street shoes allowed in the gym. Street shoes must be taken off and kept in cubbies before stepping onto any of the mats or tumbling equipment. Athletes must be in cheer shoes that have not been worn outside at all times. Practicing barefoot or in socks will not be tolerated unless expressly requested by a coach. FLYERS As the requirements for this sport continue to get more difficult and technical each year, we need to ensure our teams will remain competitive. Flyers will need to keep up with all responsibilities including stretching and body control. Every flyer is expected to have excellent body positions on both legs. If an flyer is unable to meet the requirements of their position, their flying status may be adjusted, (Active, Alternate, Grounded) Flyers may also be moved to a team that may better fit their needs as an athlete, and the needs of the team. Flyers lacking in body control, focus and/or flexibility can be dangerous to their teammates. Flyers who do not demonstrate these key elements

are subject to removal until they are deemed to possess the skills necessary to be safe. Size is not a determining factor of a good flyer or base. Just because an athlete is small, does not mean he or she is guaranteed to fly. Each flyer has flexibility and body control responsibilities that will need to be kept up with throughout the season. Every athlete should learn how to be a good base, regardless of their size. Please keep in mind that when coaches make the tough decisions to put in or take athletes out of the air, it is for the best interest of the team. It is not something to be taken personally. In order to remain competitive, we need to ensure all areas of the score sheet are kept in the high range. This includes flyers flexibility and body control, which drastically affects a team s stunt technique score. COMMUNICATION/TEAM REPS Please respect that coaches and Allstar Director have lives and other responsibilities. Please address all concerns or questions before or after practice in the lobby. In the event of an emergency, refrain from texting or calling coaches and directors prior to 9am and after 9pm. We know that all parents want what s best for their children. We also recognize that cheer parents are passionate. Please consider calming down before contacting Team Rep, Coach and/or Allstar Director; it is often difficult to address issues while angry or upset. Dynamite parents, coaches and athletes are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at ALL times. In the event that you are upset, rude or disrespectful displays of behavior will not be tolerated, including but not limited to: cursing, causing a scene, threatening the coaches or staff, or talking inappropriately in front of children. Directors reserve the right to dismiss or suspend an athlete or parent due to inappropriate behavior. Confronting fellow parents, athletes, coaches, or the Allstar Director in an aggressive, disrespectful or inappropriate manner will be deemed grounds for dismissal. There will be a designated Team Rep for each team. Team Reps are the connection between the parents to the coaches, and the coaches to the parents. Team Reps are volunteers and are not paid for their duties. They are the message carriers of the program and should be treated with respect. Team Reps are not babysitters or travel agents. Disrespect or questioning of the Team Rep will not be tolerated. Team Reps are simply passing on messages from the coaches and/or Allstar Director. Although they are not in charge of making any decisions, they should be your first point of contact when you have any concerns or questions about your team. The Team Rep will be in constant communication with coaches and the Allstar Director and will be sure to inform them of any issues.

ABSENT/SICK/INJURY POLICIES Allstar Cheerleading is a team sport and requires the commitment of all athletes. While we understand that emergencies are part of life, we expect that short of an emergency or scheduled absence, athletes are expected to be at ALL practices. We understand that athletes belong to families and have parents who schedule vacations. At the beginning of the summer AND fall, we require that families actively update Teamsnap to reflect their athlete s scheduled absences and tardies so our coaches can maximize practices despite absent and late athletes. We expect athletes will have a total of 0-2 unexcused summer absences*. During the competition season, athletes are limited to missing 10% of TOTAL practice days (note: athletes are required to attend practices for the two weeks leading up to competitions). These absences may be for any reason including vacation, school events, illness or emergencies. It is the belief of Dynamite coaches and directors that missing more than these numbers will be disruptive to the development of teams as a whole and, while we will try to make accommodations for athletes who miss more than these allotted absences, we cannot guarantee placements in key positions or formations (as we will be building these groups and continuing to refine them throughout the season). In the event that an athlete is absent, it is his or her responsibility to know changes and/or adjustments that were made to the routine. *Not reported in the summer calendar on Teamsnap. This year, we are designating one coach on each team to handle administrative issues including collecting documentation for absences, recording absences and tardies, and managing music and other responsibilities. Dynamite Allstars uses Teamsnap for communication and attendance purposes. All parents and athletes are required to actively update their athlete s availability; so coaches can plan all practices accordingly. In the event you know your athlete will be late, you will need to contact your admin coach directly. If you know your athlete will be late in advance, please check Going in the Availability box in Teamsnap and add in the notes section what time the athlete is expected to arrive. If your athlete is sick, it is up to the parent and athlete to determine whether or not the athlete is well enough to participate in practice. We understand that some athletes may want to attend regardless of illness; however, we encourage athletes to consider what they are capable of doing given their level of illness. If an athlete is sick and unable to attend practice, it is the athlete and parents responsibility to contact their teams admin coach directly. Injuries will be handled on a case-by-case basis, as it is possible to learn and work on strength and flexibility while under the weather or injured. We expect all team members to be apprised of developments and changes to the routine, which is obviously easier when in attendance. Every athlete is responsible for signing in and out in their team's attendance binder. Each athlete is expected to document their arrival time and departure time for each practice. Attendance will be taken at the official start time of every practice. If your athlete is not in the gym and ready to practice, they will be marked as late. Excessive tardinesses that impact the team s ability to develop stunts and formations may impact the (habitually late) athlete s responsibilities on his or her team. If you know your athlete will be late or absent from a practice, it is the responsibility of the parent or athlete to inform their admin coach via text.

FLIP FLOPPERS We are offering the option for athletes to Flip Flop onto another team (meaning they can be on TWO teams) if the athlete is deemed able physically and psychologically. Flip Flopping allows athletes the opportunity to try different things and work with other groups of athletes. If your athlete is interested in Flip Flopping, he or she must demonstrate the ability to master all level appropriate skills for both teams, in addition to keeping up with both team s practices and competition schedules (attendance rules apply to both team placements). This is the first year that we are offering athletes the opportunity to request a Flip Flop role during tryouts. Requesting to be a Flip Flopper does not guarantee a spot; however, we will do our best to accommodate athletes who choose this unique responsibility. All Flip Floppers will be required to pay the crossover fee for each competition in which they compete on more than one team. Athletes who compete on more than one team will not be charged for practices or blocks beyond the requirements for their primary team. For example, if a level 4 is flip flopping onto a level 3 team, he or she is expected to pay tuition for the level 4 requirements (one team practice day during the summer; three practice days including two team practice days and one block day during the competition season), but will receive all level 3 requirements (one team practice day during the summer; three practice days including two team practice days and one block day during the competition season) free. Flip floppers may only receive free tuition for their second team equal to or less than the requirements of their primary team. COMPETITION GUIDELINES Our schedule includes 5-7 competitions from November through May based on your team. Athletes might compete twice in some months and not at all in others. Pre-Team will attend ONLY specific competitions. If at any time the coaching staff determines that a team is not adequately prepared for a competition, the team may be pulled and rescheduled. This is the same for adding competitions. We will do our best to keep to the schedule determined in the beginning of the year as we respect your families time beyond the gym. Lodging and other travel-associated costs are the sole responsibility of the family. In the event that a team receives a bid to a large competition (i.e., US Finals, The Summit, Worlds), the coaches will decide whether or not they will attend. As these competitions are not guaranteed, costs to attend these events are not included in the regular assessments (competition fees); therefore, attendance will result in additional charges. Information regarding arrival times will be disseminated via the week prior to each competition. Unless otherwise notified, all athletes are required to arrive at the designated time and stay through awards. Each athlete must stay in FULL uniform until the completion of their awards ceremony as you are representing Dynamite. Athletes may change out of uniform immediately following their award ceremony. In the event awards are scheduled at a time deemed unreasonable, the Allstar Director will determine whether or not the team will remain for awards.

Competition arrival times are set 1 hour (or at the discretion of the coaches) before the team s warm up time. During this time, we will warmup for 15 minutes, run through routines for 30 minutes, and check in 15 minutes prior to our official warmup time. It is vital that all athletes arrive ON TIME and COMPETITION READY*. This gives our athletes ample time to stretch, run through routines, and arrive at scheduled warm ups in a timely manner. Please consider traffic and other possible barriers to arriving on time. We want our athletes to compete safely, so plan to be on time! *Full uniform (including white no-show socks), hair and makeup ready, and no jewelry or nail polish. COMPETITION ETIQUETTE At Dynamite, we expect our parents and athletes to be respectful and display good sportsmanship at ALL competitions. This includes a positive attitude regardless of performance and respecting other teams. Commenting on other teams or athletes in a negative way will NOT be tolerated. As well as showing good sportsmanship for every team, it is expected that if you are at the venue when another Dynamite team is performing, that all Dynamite athletes go to the fan viewing area to cheer them on. Coaches will make every effort to bring teams to the viewing areas to support EVERY Dynamite team. This is not only good for the athletes performing, but also shows that the gym has a strong and supportive core. Cheerleading is not only about winning. Cheerleading is a form of support and a way of life for many people. It is our job as a gym to promote positivity and encouragement to every single team!

ATTIRE It is expected that all athletes arrive to every practice in appropriate practice clothing. If your athlete is not adequately prepared for practice he or she will be expected to find suitable clothing to practice in. This year we are encouraging teams to portray uniformity during practices. Athletes are expected to wear uniform practice clothes on a designated day. On other practice days, athletes must dress according to the guidelines of acceptable practice attire (see below). Days in which the coach decides the theme will be announced in advance (i.e., special holiday themes, showcases, etc). Acceptable Practice Attire Shorts/Spandex Tank top Form fitting T-shirt Cheer Shoes Hair secured in ponytail Uniform Practice Clothing (purchased at beginning of season) Unacceptable Practice Attire Loose fitting or Baggy T-Shirts Jewelry Street Shoes Hair Down Shirts from other gyms Competition Attire: Uniform ($340+tax) Makeup (for girls) Warm-Up White no-show socks (black socks for boys) Cheer Shoes Competition Bow (for girls) ($18+tax) It is strongly suggested that your athlete have a pair of Practice shoes and a pair of Competition shoes. Practice shoes tend to get dirty and beaten up. While on the competition floor, the athletes should have CLEAN AND BRIGHT WHITE cheer shoes. Practice shoes and competition shoes SHOULD NOT be worn outside.

ATHLETE EXPECTATIONS Behavior Athletes must show respect at all times towards coaches, teammates, other Dynamite athletes, parents, judges, officials and spectators. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Good sportsmanship, positive conduct, and professionalism are expected at all competitions and practices. All Dynamite athletes must show class and dignity at all times when representing the gym. Gossiping about fellow teammates, other teams, parents and or athletes will not be tolerated. Practice All personal belongings must be kept in cubbies during practice time. Cell phones must be kept in cubbies for the duration of practice. No cell phones will be permitted in the gym. Cheer shoes must be worn to every practice. Practicing barefoot or in street shoes will not be tolerated. Cheer shoes that are worn on the gym floor MAY NOT be worn outside. If you cheer for high school as well, please maintain a pair of shoes that are not used outdoors. All squad and routine decisions are left to the coach s discretion. Disrespect and questioning of coaching staff will not be tolerated. Respect must be shown towards the gym at all times. Destroying or dirtying of gym property will not be tolerated. Athletes are expected to clean up after themselves. No food, gum, drinks etc will be allowed in the gym. If you are sick or have an injury, you are still expected to attend team practice based off severity. Even if you are absent you are still responsible for any changes or adjustments to the routine. If you are running late to practice, you must contact your teams admin coach. Excessive tardiness will not be tolerated. Practices for the two weeks leading up to competition are required. It is left to the coach s discretion to replace athletes that do not show up for practice the week of competition, regardless of the situation.

Social Media No athlete may post inappropriate pictures and/or messages on any social media platform. No athlete may post any disrespectful pictures and/or messages in regards to fellow teammates, coaches, parents or the Dynamite program on any social media platform. Inappropriate pictures or messages posted to social media involving the Dynamite logo, uniform or name will not be tolerated. Bullying will not be tolerated in any form; in person, social media, group chats, etc. I have read and agree to all expectations that are held as a Dynamite Athlete. I understand that membership on a Dynamite Team is a privilege, and as a representative of Dynamite, I agree to conduct myself in a positive and professional way. I also understand that should my behavior negatively impact my teammates, coaches or the gym in general, I am subject to suspension or dismissal. Athlete Name: Athlete Signature: Date:

PARENT EXPECTATIONS Behavior Parents are asked to serve as role models for their athletes and their teammates. We ask that parents remain respectful at all times towards coaches, Dynamite staff, Dynamite athletes, other parents, judges, officials and spectators. Good sportsmanship, positive conduct, and professionalism are expected at all competitions and practices. Parents are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship towards all athletes, teams, coaches, judges and officials. We expect the well-being of your child and their team is placed before parent s personal desire to win. We expect parents with concerns to contact the appropriate Dynamite representative rather than voice their concerns in a negative way to other parents. Threats to quit will be taken seriously. In the event you wish to discontinue your athlete s membership, please send an to the Allstar Director. Please refrain from disciplining or reprimanding someone else s child. Practices The parent viewing area is a privilege. Gossiping, negative remarks, and disrespectful behavior in the lobby and/or parent viewing area are strongly discouraged. If a parent exhibits these behaviors, please let the coaching staff or the Allstar Director know immediately. This may result in the parent being put on drive by status. Disrespectfulness, inappropriate behavior, excessive absences, tardiness, lack of effort, delinquent tuition payments etc. is grounds for suspension or dismissal of your athlete. Practices may be changed and/or added at any point throughout the season. If you athlete is sick or has an injury, he or she is still expected to attend team practice based off severity. Even if your athlete is absent he or she is responsible for any changes or adjustments made to the routine.
