1 Duplin County Newsletter - October Mosaic Highlights Thank You New Employees Birthdays Announcements Event Center Dear Fellow County Employees: Manager s Message October, 2017 As I contemplate the topic for this month s column, I looked back at the subjects I ve written about over the last 11 years. My goal with my monthly manager s message has been to bring you something relevant and informative that would help you grow personally as well as professionally. I ve heard it said that the teacher learns more from the lesson than the student, and that s been the case for me in writing these monthly messages. Sometimes I didn t know what to write about, but usually, something meaningful would eventually surface and I found that in writing to you, the meaning was reinforced to me. In a few months I will retire from my position as county manager. I ve enjoyed my career with the county and I want to thank each of you for your dedication and the job you do for Duplin County. It s been my sincere pleasure to have worked with you. Sincerely, Mike Aldridge County Manger
