Vicki and Tom, the husband and wife team of Itinerant Studio, work primarily from their Springfield studio, but often travel to gain inspiration, work on a photographic project, learn new things, eat good foods, and spend time enjoying a new place together with their daughter Dina. Itinerant Studio is located in a historic industrial building in Downtown Springfield, which they purchased with a vision to contribute to the cultural revival of their adopted hometown. Value: $1,500 The Chrysler Building embossing was created as part of Mike s Masters degree work at Pratt Institute in New York. This was a time when his interest in 2-D work was moving toward 3-D work that would eventually lead to bronze sculpture. As a life-long student of architectural design, Mike finds this particular building particularly fascinating as it continues to stand out among so many NYC skyscrapers.
