Poems are set as the prescribed pieces for the National Mod for age as of 1 st October Prescribed pieces are available from Mòd Bharraigh - see below for details. Please note age groups will be arranged to suit entry. All Gaelic Medium pupils from P4 will compete in fluent competitions. Children in non- Gaelic Medium Education may compete in fluent competitions. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS FRIDAY 31 st August ***NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED*** 2 copies of all own choice songs (words and music), clearly marked with competition number and your name, (the traditional song category only requires words), must be submitted along with entry form and appropriate fee by Friday 31 st August. No music is required to be submitted for purely instrumental competitions with the exception of Chanter and Bagpipe competitions where tune selection should be noted on the entry form.
