3 Woodbridge Business Breakfast Club Networking Referrals Social Meetings are held fortnightly at Woodbridge Town Football Club. Information about the club and how to join can be found at Members meet up at 7.00am and network until 7.30am when breakfast is served at tables of four. Each member in turn has around 15 minutes to pass on information of interest about their business to fellow members seated at their table. Meetings are held on Tuesday mornings, starting at 7:00 am and finishing at 8:30 am although further networking can continue until 9:00 am. 4 The first team have seven fixtures Our in October, first team four have made a promising start to the at home, including two cup matches season, scoring 17 goals and remain unbeaten after their five league fixtures in August. On Saturday 15th we meet Team Bury for the third time this season in a Suffolk Senior Cup tie. Town defeated Leiston Reserves in the first round in which Team Bury were drawn a bye. Another cup match follows four days later as we welcome Framlingham Town to Notcutts Park for the second time this season. On this occasion the teams contest the first round of the Thurlow Nunn First Division KO Cup. F I R S T T E A M September begins with the return of Friday night football on Friday 2nd as the first team entertain Framlingham Town as the Two league matches complete the month of October, a visit to March Town United before we entertain Stowmarket Town at Notcutts Park on the last Saturday of the month when a pre match two course lunch is available to book, which also includes entrance to the match and half time refreshments. Entrance to all first team matches is 5.00 for adults, 2.50 for concessions and admission is free to all Under 16 s. 10 The Under 13 s were undefeated in September scoring six in league matches against Braintree and Haverhill. In the League Cup they defeated Haverhill and meet AFC Hornchurch in the next round on the 16th. On Sunday 2nd Whitton United are the visitors to Notcutts Park in the County Cup. The Under 15 s begin their League Cup campaign with a visit to Cambridge City on Sunday 9th. Three league matches are also scheduled and all are home fixtures. On Sunday the 2nd Haverhill Rovers visit for a 2pm kick off and later in the month Diss Town and Walsham Le Willows also visit Notcutt's Park. 13 The Woodbridge Town FC Monthly Draw HELPING SAFEGUARD THE FACILITES OF WOODBRIDGE TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB Our Monthly Draw assists us in maintaining our current facilities in addition to investing in the club s future development. Each month a percentage of all receipts help to maintain our football pitches, clubhouse facilities and future development projects to ensure first class facilities continue to be available to our current players and to the next generation of footballers in Woodbridge. HOW DOES THE MONTHLY DRAW WORK? When you join the Monthly Draw, you ll be given a unique number. Each month, as long as you have paid your subscription, your number will be entered into the draw. If your number is drawn, congratulations - you re a winner! It s as simple as that. The monthly draw will take place at 9pm on the last Friday of each month at the football club. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Being a member of the Monthly Draw costs just 5 per month per entry. WHAT ARE THE PRIZES? We aim to have a monthly prize fund in excess of 250 with a first prize of at least 100. The remainder of the prize fund is divided between the second, third and fourth prizes. HOW DO I KNOW IF I VE WON? All prize winners are notified personally. In addition, the results of each draw will be posted on the club notice board and website. HOW CAN I PAY? Subscriptions can be paid monthly by completing a standing order mandate, or alternatively paid annually by cheque. HOW DO I JOIN? To join, simply download the application form from the Woodbridge Town FC website. The form should then be returned to: W.T.F.C. Monthly Draw, 4 Clare Avenue, Woodbridge IP12 4ES, or in person at the football club. 13

14 SEASON GETS UNDERWAY FOR YOUTHS S U F F O L K YO U T H L E A G U E October s South Suffolk Youth schedule sees only two weeks out of five reserved for League matches, with League Cup, County Cup and school half-term accounting for the remaining weekends. In the league competitions our U14 s, U13 s and U12 s all remain undefeated after their September fixtures and October begins with sixteen matches on the 1st of the month with four home matches taking place at Kingston Field, two at Melton St. Audry s, with others at Inspire Suffolk and Melton Playing Field. The U12 s play a Sunday match on October 2nd visiting Lakenheath in the County Cup. On Saturday 8th the League Cup competition starts with home matches kicking off at 10:30am at Notcutts Park, Melton St Audrys, Inspire Suffolk, Melton Playing Field and Kingston Field. A full league programme takes place the following weekend on the 15th, with our U16, U15, U13XI, U12XI, U11, U9 and U8 all with home games at 10:30am whilst the U18 s visit Sporting 87 for a cup tie.
