1 1 A quorum for the AGM is forty clubs. 16 th January 2019 I am directed to inform you of the AGM of the above association to be held at Bagley Sports and Social Club, Greenfield s Garden, Greenfields, Shrewsbury, SY1 2RP on Monday 4th February 2019 commencing at To save on travelling expenses and to utilize on parking at the venue we would be grateful if you could car share if at all possible. Each affiliated League, Club or Association is entitled to attend the Annual General Meeting and that League, Club or Association being entitled to one vote on any issue. Voting slips to be distributed at the meeting if applicable. In order for individual clubs and leagues to exercise their voting rights at an AGM or extra ordinary meeting each club/league must attend the appropriate meeting to record their vote. May I draw your attention to Bye Law 11 which states Any club or league failing to send a representative to the AGM will be fined (this does not apply to clubs who do not play in any leagues) Please remind your representative that they must sign-in on arrival, this will insure that a fine for non-attendance will NOT occur. Please remember to state your name and Club or League clearly, when addressing the meeting. No agenda s will be available on the night, please print off. 3 3 16. No propositions received for changes to the bye-laws. 16 (a) Proposal by the County Executive for County and Shropshire Cup Rules. As this is not a bye-law a majority vote applies County cup rule 14c Delete: A player shall only be eligible if he is a bonafide member of the Club for at least four weeks before a match is played and is a playing member at the Club Shropshire Cup rule 1 Delete The competition shall be confined to Clubs affiliated to the S.C.G.B.A. and who are not in the Shropshire Premier Bowling League. Teams from the Shropshire Premier Bowling League can enter their second team into the competition subject to eligibility rules covered in rule Shropshire cup rule 14c Delete: A player shall only be eligible if he is a bonafide member of the Club for at least four weeks before a match is played and is a playing member at the Club.
