2 JUNIOR TEE TIME POLICY Junior members may reserve tee times 7 days in advance for play daily after 2:00 PM except on Fridays and Holidays which is after 3:30 PM. Junior members may play daily at anytime if playing with an adult member. SLOW PLAY GOLF ETIQUETTE It is important that all golfers keep a steady pace when playing golf. Always remember to keep up with the group ahead of you. If playing slow, please pick up your ball and move along, or let the group behind play through. If you wish to play through a group, always remember to ask politely. If they agree, play through as quickly as possible and remember to say Thank You. High handicap Juniors are asked to always play from the YELLOW TEE blocks. REPAIRING DIVOTS Everyone wants to play on a good golf course. If you take a divot when playing a shot, please take the time to replace the divot or fill the divot with sand from sand bottles available outside the Pro Shop. FIXING BALL MARKS When a ball lands on the green, many times the force of the impact leaves an impression known as a BALL MARK. It is your responsibility to repair your ball mark. It is good golf etiquette to repair other ball marks found on the green. A ball mark repair tool is available for pick up in the Pro Shop. If you do not know how to repair a ball mark, please ask our staff who are happy to assist you. RAKING SAND TRAPS After hitting a ball from a sand trap, it is important that you take the time to rake the trap so that it is smooth for the next golfer. Please leave the rake outside the trap.

3 LANGUAGE & BEHAVIOUR Please remember that when you are on the property, you are representing the entire Junior Program. Foul language and poor behavior is unacceptable and may be subject to disciplinary action. DRESS CODE All players are required to meet the dress code of the Club as explained on the back page of this pamphlet. Please read the dress code carefully to make sure that you are properly dressed when coming to the course. JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: The Blue Mountain Junior Section is promoting a scholarship program designed to help develop junior players by providing one boy and one girl with complimentary membership based on the following: Criteria- The juniors must be of a playing ability to compete in provincial, national or international events. Must have been a member of the Club the previous year. Scholarship Process- Those interested in receiving the scholarship must write an essay explaining why they believe they qualify. The essay is to include a portfolio of their golf achievements as well as a list of events in which they plan to participate in the upcoming year. The winners will be determined by the Executive. JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: Open to all Junior members of the Club. Results are based on Medal play, gross score only. Juvenile and Junior Divisions will play 18 holes and compete from the WHITE TEES. Bantam Division will be a 9 hole event from the YELLOW TEES. Bantams wishing to compete for the 18 hole Junior Club Championship may do so; however they must forfeit their option to be the Bantam Division Champion. Players will be competing for the Fran Stewart Trophies in both Boys and Girls Divisions.

4 Policy: BLUE MOUNTAIN GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB DRESS CODE The Blue Mountain Golf and Country Club requires that all golfers observe the dress code of the Club while on the golf course. Men: Shirts must be appropriate tailored golfing attire. (T shirts, tank tops, etc. are not Shorts and slacks must have a zipper and pockets. Shorts must be mid-thigh in length. (cut offs, track pants, short shorts, denim of any colour and similar casual attire is not Footwear must consist of soft spike golf shoes or cleatless sporting shoes only. Caps must be worn with the bill of the cap facing the front. Ladies: Shirts must be appropriate tailored golfing attire (T shirts, tank, halter and tube tops are not Shorts, slacks and shirts must be tailored. Shorts and shirts must be mid-thigh in length. (cut offs, track wear, short shorts, denim of any colour and similar casual attire is not Footwear must consist of soft spike golf shoes or cleatless sporting shoes only. Caps must be worn with the bill of the cap facing the front. Infraction Procedures: Blue Mountain Golf and Country Club staff reserve the right to enforce the Dress Code regulation. Playing privileges will be denied until the dress code infraction is corrected.
