1 HENDERSON COUNTRY CLUB RULES GOVERNING CONDUCT ON THE GOLF COURSE 1. All members and their guests must register in the golf pro shop before playing a round of golf. At this time they will be given a starting time (No one can play golf without a starting time; starting times must be obtained for multiple rounds) 2 Dress must be consistent with the game of golf and in good taste. Males (over 12 years of age) must have collars on their shirts. No cut-offs or blue jeans are allowed anywhere on the golf course. Shorts must be an appropriate length, i.e. within 6 of the knee. No halter-tops or abbreviated blouses are allowed. Please follow these rules and do not embarrass yourself or the pro. 3. Players, who have an open golf hole from tee to green and a faster playing group waiting for them, must allow the faster group to play through. If appropriate, the play-through should occur at the green. After the slower group has hit onto the green, their ball would be marked and the faster group allowed to hit onto the green and putt out before the slower group resumes play. This is mandatory for all foursomes. We request that violation of this rule be reported to the pro shop at the completion of 9 or at the completion of 18. Twosomes and threesomes may be allowed to play through as a courtesy, but this is not mandatory. 4. Absolutely no one should hit into the group ahead of him or her and following groups must make the effort to insure that the group they are following is out of range. 5. No teeing off on No. 7 or No. 10 before playing the front 9 without permission from the pro shop. Violation of this rule must be reported immediately to the pro by members, so proper action may be taken. 6. Between April 1 and October 31 no more than foursomes will be allowed on weekends. Between April 1 and October 1 no more than foursomes will be allowed on weekdays. On Thursdays after 5:30 PM, with permission from the pro shop, more than four players will be allowed.
2 7. No more than two golf carts per foursome will be allowed (unless approved by the pro.) 8. Do not drive carts within the orange markers on the golf course, on the green, or the tee boxes or on areas under repair. The only exception is for a flagged cart, which indicates a health problem and the flag will be issued by the pro. This cart may not be driven within 10 feet of the green. 9. Pull carts should not be pulled across greens, tee boxes bunkers or traps. 10. Par 3 s keep carts on path only, if marked. Carts may be restricted to paths at other times by ropes or signs. 11.
