U.S. Team Bios Rickie Fowler Age: PGA TOUR record: 21 events, 7 top-10 finishes, including a win at THE PLAYERS Championship and Deutsche Bank Championship Upon arriving at TPC Sawgrass, Fowler s season had been less than inspired. He started with a tie for third at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions in the fall, but since the calendar turned, he had yet to produce another top-10 finish in a stroke play event. But something magical happened at THE PLAYERS. Seemingly out of contention at the turn in the final round, he played his last six holes in six under (four birdies and one eagle) to take the clubhouse lead in the most stirring finish in tournament history. Sergio Garcia and Kevin Kisner eventually matched his total, but Fowler had the momentum. In the tournament s three-hole playoff format, Garcia was eliminated, leaving Fowler and Kisner to decide the title on the iconic 17th hole. For the third time Sunday, Fowler birdied the hole this time to win the tournament. Fowler also won the Deutsche Bank Championship, the second event of the FedExCup Playoffs, for his first multiple-win season on TOUR. It was his third win of 2015 after also claiming the European Tour s Scottish Open before The Open Championship. He finished a career-best fourth in the FedExCup. Fowler s first PGA TOUR win came at the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship. Last year, he became just the third player since 1934 to claim top-five finishes in all four majors. Atwo-time Ryder Cup participant, Fowler is making his first Presidents Cup appearance. Jim Furyk unable to compete due to injury Age: PGA TOUR record: 19 events, 7 top-10 finishes, including a win at the RBC Heritage The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 1998, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 ( ) Furyk ended his nearly five-year winless drought by claiming the RBC Heritage in a playoff against Kevin Kisner. It was Furyk s first win on TOUR since winning the 2010 TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, which enabled him to take the FedExCup that year. In addition to his victory at Harbour Town, Furyk had six other top-10 finishes as he continued to display the consistency that is the hallmark of his game. In the last five years, he s produced 37 top-10s. Furyk s unorthodox swing, which TV analyst David Feherty once described as akin to an octopus falling out of a tree, has produced a major win (the 2003 U.S. Open), 16 other PGA TOUR wins, a FedExCup title (in 2010) and one of the six 59s ever shot on the PGA TOUR (at the 2013 BMW Championship). He s making his eighth Presidents Cup appearance as a member of the U.S. Team, although with a bit of momentum lost heading into the competition. After a T11 and a T4 to start the FedExCup Playoffs, Furyk was forced to withdraw from the final two events of the season due to a wrist injury. Bill Haas Captain s Pick Age: 33

2015 PGA TOUR record: 25 events, 5 top-10 finishes, including a win at the Humana Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2011, 2013 (3-5-2) Haas, who finished No. 11 in the U.S. Team standings and just 286 points behind No. 10 Chris Kirk, is a captain s pick for the second time in his career (2011, by Captain Fred Couples). He and Phil Mickelson join five other players who have been a captain s pick more than once in their careers: Robert Allenby (3) and Jay Haas, Fred Couples, Lucas Glover, Hunter Mahan and Mickelson (1994) two times each. Earlier this year, Haas won the Humana Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation for his sixth PGA TOUR victory and second at that event. He finished T4 at THE PLAYERS Championship and Quicken Loans National, along with a T6 at the Wyndham Championship. In all, Haas recorded 12 top-25 finishes this seasonand closed the year ranked No. 27 in the FedExCup. Haas has posted a record in his two previous Presidents Cup appearances. He and his father, U.S. Team Captain Jay Haas, are looking forward to being in the team room in Korea together. I m proud to be coaching my son on The Presidents Cup, Jay said. I won t say it s a dream come true because I couldn t have dreamt anything quite like this. J.B. Holmes chosen to replace an injured Jim Furyk Age: PGA TOUR record: 25 events, 7 top-10 finishes, including a win at the Shell Houston Open Holmes, a four-time PGA TOUR winner, will be making his Presidents Cup debut. He represented the United States in the 2008 Ryder Cup, held in his home state of Kentucky, and posted a record. This season from February through April, Holmes played exceptionally well. At the Farmers Insurance Open, he lost to Jason Day in a playoff. The following month, he was a runner-up again at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship at Doral. And then in April, he won the Shell Houston Open, opening the final round with five birdies en route to a 64. Johnson Wagner and Jordan Spieth both drained long putts to tie Holmes, but the former Kentucky Wildcat was the last man standing after the second hole of sudden death. Holmes finished the FedExCup Playoffs strong with a T4 at the BMW Championship and a T8 at the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola two of his seven top 10s this season. His No. 14 ranking in the FedExCup standings is a career-best. My heart goes out to Jim because I know how much The Presidents Cup means to him, said Holmes. Obviously, he has been a leader for our team for many years and he will be greatly missed. I am, however, very honored and excited to get the call from Coach Haas to make the trip to South Korea to help the U.S. Team retain the Cup. Having personally experienced a victory in the Ryder Cup in 2008, I know firsthand what a phenomenal feeling it is to win for the United States and your teammates. I have always loved playing in team competitions, and, clearly, playing on the U.S. Presidents Cup Team represents the pinnacle of such team competitions. I am so excited for this honor and look forward to joining my great teammates in Korea. Dustin Johnson Age: PGA TOUR record: 21 events, 11 top-10 finishes, including a win at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2011 (1-3-1) Johnson didn t start his season until early February, and it only took him a month to nab his ninth TOUR win at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship. It was his second World Golf Championships title, and part of his red-hot performance to start the season (five top 10s in his first seven starts. Johnson has now won in eight consecutive seasons, the best current streak on TOUR.

Johnson s season also was defined by his near-misses in the majors. At the U.S. Open, he came to the par-5 18th in the final round needing an eagle to win and a birdie to tie. He put himself in position with a second shot to 12 feet. But he three-putted from there to fall out of a potential playoff with Jordan Spieth. Johnson started strong at The Open Championship before fading on the weekend, and at the PGA Championship, he fought back on the weekend to finish tied for seventh. Johnson concluded his season by finishing T5 at the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola and finishing seventh in the FedExCup. Johnson s fiancé, Paulina Gretzky, gave birth to their son Tatum in January. Zach Johnson Age: PGA TOUR record: 25 events, 10 top-10 finishes, including a win at The Open Championship The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2007, 2009, 2013 (7-6-0) Eight years after his Masters win, Johnson won the second major of his career, claiming The Open Championship by beating Louis Oosthuizen and Marc Leishman in a four-hole playoff at St. Andrews. He is only the sixth player to win major championships at St. Andrews and Augusta National (2007 Masters Tournament) In addition to his second major triumph, Johnson had nine other top-10 finishes this season, including a tie for third at his home event, the John Deere Classic, a week before winning The Open Championship. Johnson is coming into his fourth Presidents Cup appearance with strong momentum from the FedExCup Playoffs; he finished T4 at The Barclays, T22 at the Deutsche Bank Championship, T13 at the BMW Championship and T5 at the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola to rise to a final sixth-place finish in the FedExCup. Johnson owns 12 wins on the PGA TOUR, including two majors, credentials that qualify him for World Golf Hall of Fame consideration one day. Chris Kirk Age: PGA TOUR record: 21 events, 3 top-10 finishes, including a win at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Having won the Ben Hogan Award as an amateur, it was only fitting that Kirk would eventually win the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial this year, the course made famous by its local icon, Hogan, whose statue stands next to the clubhouse. Kirk, the first Hogan winner of the Colonial, drained a clutch six-foot putt on the 72nd hole for the win, the fourth of his PGA TOUR career. The rest of his season, however, wasn t as productive as it could have been, as he broke a bone in his right hand during the summer and missed two months. He came back in time for the FedExCup Playoffs, advancing through the BMW Championship and finishing 44 th in the final standings. Kirk is making his first Presidents Cup appearance, having finished 10 th in the points standings to earn the final automatic spot on Jay Haas U.S. Team. Kirk played for the NCAA-winning Georgia Bulldogs while in college and a member of the U.S. Walker Cup Team. Matt Kuchar Age: PGA TOUR record: 25 events, 7 top-10 finishes, including a T2 at the Humana Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2011, 2013 (4-5-1)

Since 2010, few players have consistently appeared on the first page of the leaderboard week in and week out as much as Kuchar. From a five-year stretch starting in 2010, Kuchar averaged nearly 10 top-10s a season (48 total), winning five of his seven career titles during that span. In true Kuchar fashion, the 37-year-old has seven top-10 finishes this season and has missed just one cut. January was his best month, with a tie for third at the Sony Open in Hawaii, then a tie for second next week at the Humana Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation. At the majors, Kuchar finished T7 at the PGA Championship and tied for 12 th at the U.S. Open. He posted two top-10s during the FedExCup Playoffs and finished 19 th in the final FedExCup standings. Kuchar is making his third consecutive Presidents Cup start. In fact, with three Ryder Cup appearances to his credit, Kuchar has represented the U.S. Team in every Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup since Phil Mickelson Captain s Pick Age: PGA TOUR record: 19 events, 3 top-10 finishes, including a T2 at the Masters Tournament The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 ( ) Mickelson, 45, is one of the veteran players on the U.S. Team, having played in each of the 10 Presidents Cups that have been staged in the event s history, the only player to accomplish that feat. The lefty owns a record in the event overall, tying him with Jim Furyk and Ernie Els for the second-most match wins behind Tiger Woods, who has 24-career wins in his Presidents Cup career. At No. 30 in the final U.S. Team standings, Mickelson is the lowest-ranked player in event history to be taken as a captain s pick (Tiger Woods, 29 th, 2011 U.S. Team). He was a captain s pick with Jay Haas for the inaugural Presidents Cup in This year s Presidents Cup appearance will be his 25th appearance as a member of a U.S. team, including his two Walker Cups, a World Amateur Team Championship and a Dunhill Cup. Mickelson s season on the PGA TOUR hasn t included any victories, but he finished T2 at the Masters Tournament in April, and also recorded top-20 finishes in the PGA Championship and The Open Championship. Mickelson s last victory remains the 2013 Open Championship, the fifth major title of 42 PGA TOUR career titles. Patrick Reed Age: PGA TOUR record: 27 events, 4 top-10 finishes, including a win at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions Reed opened the year in dramatic fashion with a playoff victory at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. It was the fourth PGA TOUR title for the 24 year old, who became just the fourth player in the last 20 years to record his fourth TOUR win before the age of 24 years and 6 months. Prone to excel in pressure situations, Reed sank a clutch 31-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole to earn a spot in a playoff with Jordan Spieth and Sean O Hair at the Valspar Championship, but ultimately fell victim to Spieth. After rounds of 66-69, he shared the 36-hole lead at the U.S. Open with Spieth, before finishing T14, his best finish in six major starts. Reed posted his fourth top-10 of the season at the Deutsche Bank Championship (T4) and finished in the top 20 at the U.S. Open, Open Championship and World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. Reed is making his Presidents Cup debut a year after a memorable performance for the U.S. Ryder Cup Team. Having been heckled at the start of his singles match against Henrik Stenson at Gleneagles, Reed made a putt on the seventh hole to halve the hole, then put his finger to his lips to shush the crowd. He eventually went on to win the match and post a record.

Jordan Spieth Age: PGA TOUR record: 25 events, 15 top-10 finishes, including wins at the Valspar Championship, Masters Tournament, U.S. Open, John Deere Classic and TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2013 (2-2-0) Jordan Spieth, 22, authored one of the most remarkable seasons in PGA TOUR history, one that included five victories including the first two major championships of the season and a FedExCup title, setting myriad records along the way. Spieth s year began with top-10 finishes at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Northern Trust Open. His first win of the year came in a playoff at the Valspar Championship, and then followed with runner-up finishes in his following two starts at the Valero Texas Open and the Shell Houston Open (a playoff loss to J.B. Holmes). Spieth won his first major championship at the Masters Tournament at 21 years of age. The fourstroke win over Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson was the fifth wire-to-wire victory in tournament history. With the win, Spieth (21 years, 8 months, 16 days at the time) added his name to several records, including becoming the second-youngest winner of the Green Jacket in the tournament s 79-year history behind Tiger Woods (21 years, 3 months, 14 days) and his 18-under-par 270 total matched Woods record-setting 1997 performance. At Chambers Bay in June, Spieth posted a 1-under 69 Sunday to move out of a four-way tie for the 54-hole lead and into the record books, becoming just the sixth player to win the Masters Tournament and U.S. Open in the same season. The victory made Spieth the youngest player to win two career majors since Gene Sarazen in He also became just the second player since 1940 to win four times on the PGA TOUR before the age of 22. Spieth won in his next start at the John Deere Classic in a playoff with Tom Gillis, and he came up just one stroke short of the aggregate playoff at The Open Championship in his quest to take home the first three major championships of the season (T4). Two years after becoming the youngest to ever tee it up at the TOUR Championship by Coca- Cola at age 20 (and finished T2), Spieth won the event, thanks to four rounds in the 60s. Spieth became the youngest FedExCup champion in history and returned to the No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking (which Jason Day claimed for one week). His excellent season led to a vote by his peers to PGA TOUR Player of the Year. Spieth will make his second start in The Presidents Cup as the top points-earner for the U.S. Team heading into Korea. In 2013, he became the youngest in event history to play for the U.S. Team, posting a record. Jimmy Walker Age: PGA TOUR record: 24 events, 6 top-10 finishes, including wins at the Sony Open in Hawaii and Valero Texas Open It took nine years and 188 starts on the PGA TOUR for Jimmy Walker to post his first win. He hasn t slowed down since. At the 2013 Frys.com Open, Walker shot on the weekend to beat Vijay Singh. He entered the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time, but more important, it seemed to flip a switch on his career, as he continues to be one of the TOUR s dominant players. He won two more times in 2014, and twice in After a playoff loss at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, Walker followed it the next week by winning the Sony Open in Hawaii for the second straight year. For the two weeks in Hawaii, he shot a combined 44 under, with six of his eight rounds at 67 or lower. In his fifth start back on the mainland,

Walker claimed the Valero Texas Open in front of many friends and family, as he lives in the San Antonio area. Walker recorded six top-10s this season and finished 16 th in the FedExCup. He is making his first Presidents Cup appearance on the heels of a debut at the 2014 Ryder Cup. Bubba Watson Age: PGA TOUR record: 19 events, 10 top-10 finishes, including wins at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions and Travelers Championship The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2011 (3-2-0) Watson didn t add to his major win total this year, but outside of the majors, it may have been his most consistent season on TOUR. He won in his first start of the season with a thrilling victory at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions. After making nine combined birdies on the final five holes in rounds two and three, Watson came to the 14th hole of the final round in good position. He again birdied the 14th, but a par on 15, a bogey on 16 and a double-bogey on 17 meant the 36-year-old needed eagle on the final hole to have any chance at the title. In dramatic fashion, Watson holed out from a greenside bunker to force a playoff with Tim Clark. He found the same bunker on the first playoff hole, making birdie to Clark s par to win the event. Watson also won the Travelers Championship in a sudden-death playoff, this time over Paul Casey, giving him a 5-for-6 record in playoffs in his PGA TOUR career. Watson is one of six players with multiple wins on the PGA TOUR this season along with Jimmy Walker (Sony Open in Hawaii, Valero Texas Open), Rory McIlroy (World Golf Championships-Dell Match Play, Wells Fargo Championship), Rickie Fowler (THE PLAYERS Championship, Deutsche Bank Championship), Jason Day (Farmers Insurance Open, RBC Canadian Open, PGA Championship, The Barclays, BMW Championship) and Jordan Spieth (Valspar Championship, Masters Tournament, U.S. Open, John Deere Classic, TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola). Watson has a total of seven top-three finishes this season, with runner-ups at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, RBC Canadian Open and World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. He finished fifth in the final FedExCup standings. Waston will make his second appearance in the event after finishing No. 2 in The Presidents Cup U.S. Team standings. International Team Bios Sangmoon Bae, Korea, Captain s Pick Age: PGA TOUR record: 30 events, 5 top-10 finishes, including 1 win (Frys.com Open) Sangmoon Bae will represent the host country at this year's Presidents Cup, the first played in Asia. He is the only South Korean resident on the squad (Danny Lee was born in South Korea, but is a resident of New Zealand). Bae began playing golf at age 11 at the urging of his parents, who both play. He was more interested in baseball as a youth before he turned his full-time athletic attention to golf. Like many Korean players, Bae has been mentored by K.J. Choi, International Team vice-captain. Bae became the fourth South Korean-born player to win on the PGA TOUR when he claimed the 2013 Byron Nelson Championship. Bae's season got off to a strong start, with top-six finishes in three of his first four starts, including a victory at the season-opening Frys.com Open. He has won two professional events at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, site of this year's Presidents Cup.

After representing his country in the Presidents Cup, he will begin serving South Korea in the military as part of his country's mandatory military service. Steven Bowditch, Australia Age: PGA TOUR record: 32 events, 2 top-10 finishes, including 1 win (AT&T Byron Nelson) Bowditch is known for an aggressive, feast-or-famine style of play. He misses a lot of cuts at least 11 in each of his six PGA TOUR seasons but he's also sprinkled in more than enough success to earn his first Presidents Cup appearance, earning one of Nick Price s two captain s picks after finishing No. 11 in the standings (the top 10 automatically make the Team). Bowditch was a promising amateur growing up in Australia. He attended the Kooralbyn International School, which also produced Adam Scott and Jason Day. Bowditch finished second in the season-opening Frys.com Open. He went on to win the AT&T Byron Nelson by four shots, giving him a victory in each of the past two PGA TOUR seasons (both in his adopted home state of Texas). His two top-10s this season make this the first in which he has multiple top- 10s. He also set a career-high for top-25s in a season (10) and made it to the season-ending TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola for the first time. Jason Day, Australia, Captain s Pick Age: PGA TOUR record: 20 events, 11 top-10 finishes, including 5 wins (Farmers Insurance Open, RBC Canadian Open, PGA Championship, The Barclays, BMW Championship) The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2011, 2013 (4-4-2) This was Day s first multiple-win season on the PGA TOUR. Day finished in the top 10 in the year s final three majors, also finishing T9 while battling vertigo at the U.S. Open and T4 at The Open Championship, where he finished one shot outside of the playoff won by Zach Johnson. He set a record for lowest score in relation to par at a major championship, shooting 20-under 268 to beat Jordan Spieth by three shots at the PGA Championship. Day won two of the four FedExCup Playoffs events and spent one week as No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking after his victory at the BMW Championship, his fifth of the season. He finished No. 3 in the final FedExCup standings. Day has become one of the world's best players after a difficult childhood. His father passed away when Jason was 12 years old, a loss that sent Day headed in the wrong direction. Day's mother, Dening, took out a second mortgage so she could send her son to Kooralbyn International School, seven hours from their home and away from the poor influences Jason was growing up around. At Kooralbyn, Day met Col Swatton, the coach who changed his life and helped him develop his prodigious talent. Swatton still serves as Day's instructor and caddie. Day broke down into tears after winning the PGA Championship as he reflected on the path he has taken to become one of the world's best players. He also will be the International Team's leader at this year's Presidents Cup. Branden Grace, South Africa Age: PGA TOUR record: 13 events, 4 top-10 finishes, including a third-place finish at the PGA Championship The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2013 (0-4-0) Grace won twice in 2015, at the Dimension Data Pro-Am in his native South Africa and the European Tour's Qatar Masters. He also finished in the top five at both the U.S. Open and PGA Championship. Grace played with Jordan Spieth in the penultimate group at Chambers Bay, and he was in contention

until hitting his tee shot at No. 16 out-of-bounds, ultimately finishing T4. He placedthird at the PGA Championship, five shots behind winner Jason Day, highlighted by a third-round 64 to move into contention. The 2006 South African Amateur champion earned his first European Tour card in 2009, but had to spend the next two seasons on lower circuits. He regained his 2012 European Tour card via Q-School, and went on to make history. He became the first player to win his first four European Tour titles in the same season. Grace's bounce-back year began with consecutive victories in his native South Africa, at the Joburg Open and Volvo Golf Champions, where he beat South African major champions Ernie Els and Retief Goosen in a playoff. Grace also won the Volvo China Open and then won at the Home of Golf, in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. He didn't win again on the European Tour until December 2014, when he won the Alfred Dunhill Championship. That set the stage for a breakout 2015 that saw him contend in two major championships. Like Presidents Cup teammates Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel, Grace's development was aided by the Ernie Els Foundation. Els has long spoken highly about his promising young countryman. Thongchai Jaidee, Thailand Age: PGA TOUR record: 10 events, including a T34 at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship A runner-up finish at the European Tour's top event, the BMW PGA Championship, helped Jaidee qualify for his first Presidents Cup team, becoming the first player from Thailand to do so in event history. The second-place finish in May vaulted him 14 spots to No. 35 in the Official World Golf Ranking. He followed with top-11 finishes in three of his next five European Tour starts to help secure his spot. He also was runner-up at the European Tour's True Thailand Classic in February, and just two weeks ago, earned his 18 th worldwide victory by claiming the Porsche European Open, his third victory on European soil. Jaidee didn't take the typical journey to professional golf. He played soccer as a youth, but was injured when a skewer became embedded in his foot. During recuperation, he started playing golf at the Army course behind his home with a discarded 5-iron head tied to a bamboo stick. He joined the Royal Thai Army in 1989 and became a paratrooper. He had time to play plenty of golf and enjoyed a distinguished amateur career, representing Thailand in the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok. He turned pro in 1999 at age 30, 10 years after he joined the army. Jaidee is highly regarded as one of Asia s greatest players, thanks to an unprecedented three Asian Tour Order of Merit crowns and 13 career victories. Anirban Lahiri, India Age: PGA TOUR record: 12 events, including a T5 at the PGA Championship Lahiri won twice on the European Tour this season, at the Hero Indian Open and Maybank Malaysian Open, helping him to become the first player from India to qualify for The Presidents Cup. He finished T5 at the PGA Championship, his first top-10 in 12 PGA TOUR starts this season, but more importantly, the best finish by an Indian player in major championship history. He also finished fifth at the European Masters. Lahiri got started in golf like many professionals, following his father, a doctor in the Indian army, to the golf course. Heentered his first tournament the age of 12 and since has developed into India's top player. Lahiri earned his European Tour card at Q-School in late 2014, then won two events cosanctioned by the European and Asian tours, including the Indian Open.

His success in Asia (he won his first two European Tour titles, in Malaysia and India, in a three-week span in February) pushed him into the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking. That earned him his first Masters appearance, one of many opportunities to compete in the United States that arose in Lahiri will be a rookie on the PGA TOUR in , thanks to his strong finish in the Web.com Tour Finals. Danny Lee, New Zealand Age: PGA TOUR record: 36 events, 8 top-10 finishes, including a win at The Greenbrier Classic Lee earned his first PGA TOUR victory at The Greenbrier Classic, starting a strong stretch that boosted him onto his first International Presidents Cup Team. Lee followed his win with three top-six finishes in his next four starts, vaulting more than 100 spots in the Official World Golf Ranking. Lee closed out his impressive PGA TOUR campaign with a T2 showing at the season-ending TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, his eighth top-10 finish, moving him to a ninth-place standing in the final FedExCup rankings. Lee's mother So Jin Seo was a golf instructor and a 5 handicap at one point, and her son became one of the game's phenoms. When he won the 2008 U.S. Amateur at Pinehurst No. 2, he broke Tiger Woods' record as the tournament's youngest champion. He also claimed the 2008 Western Amateur, one of the United States' top amateur events, and finished T20 in that year's Wyndham Championship on the PGA TOUR. Lee continued to impress when he won the European Tour's Johnnie Walker Classic while still an amateur. He became the youngest winner (18 years, 213 days) in European Tour history and second amateur to win on the circuit. He turned pro after competing in the 2009 Masters. Lee competed on the European Tour in 2010 before playing on the Web.com Tour the following year. He earned his card after one season on that circuit, but had to return in Lee is returning to the land of his birth for The Presidents Cup; he was born in Incheon, South Korea, before moving to New Zealand to develop his game. Marc Leishman, Australia Age: PGA TOUR record: 23 events, 4 top-10 finishes, including a T2 at The Open Championship The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2013 (2-2-0) Leishman shot 14-under 130 (64-66) on the weekend at The Open Championship to charge his way into a three-man playoff won by Zach Johnson (Leishman s fellow teammate Louis Oosthuizen also finished tied for second). Leishman was T50 at the halfway mark before matching the lowest 36-hole score in major championship history, and Leishman's third-round 64 was one shot off the lowest round in major history. Leishman also finished in the top 10 in two World Golf Championships, the Cadillac Match Play (T9) and HSBC Champions (ninth). He has now finished in the top five in a major in three consecutive years (T4, 2013 Masters; T5, 2014 Open Championship; T2, 2015 Open Championship). His success at The Open Championship came after enduring an ordeal that nothing on the golf course will rival. Leishman was at Augusta National to prepare for the Masters when his wife Audrey was admitted to the hospital. Leishman withdrew from the Masters to be by her side. Audrey had developed acute respiratory distress syndrome, and her lungs were filled with fluid. She also was diagnosed with toxic shock syndrome. The last thing Audrey remembers with any certainty is calling her parents and telling them that she loved them. She called her brothers, too. In maybe the hardest conversation, Marc and Audrey essentially said their goodbyes, as well. Audrey has recovered after a frightening hospital stay, but the Leishmans will never be the same. It's changed my whole perspective on life, he said. I feel like I've always had a pretty good outlook on life, but now just it takes a lot more to worry me.

Hideki Matsuyama, Japan Age: PGA TOUR record: 25 events, 9 top-10 finishes, including a T2 at the Waste Management Open The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2013 (1-3-1) While Matsuyama did not win in 2015, he was No. 20 in the FedExCup at the start of the FedExCup Playoffs on the strength of eight top-10s, including six top-five finishes. He was runner-up at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and finished third at the Frys.com Open and Hyundai Tournament of Champions. He also finished fifth at the Masters, his career-best finish in a major championship. Thanks to a T7 at the BMW Championship, the penultimate event of the season, Matsuyama finished a career-best 16 th in the FedExCup. Matsuyama earned his first PGA TOUR title at the 2014 Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, less than a year after he made his Presidents Cup debut on the same course (Muirfield Village Golf Club). He also has won six times on the Japan Tour, including once while still an amateur. Matsuyama has been a promising prospect since those amateur days. He won the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in 2010 and 2011, the second and third years of the event that was created in part by Augusta National and the R&A. The tournament was formed to produce champions who would inspire future generations of players in the region. Matsuyama has certainly accomplished that goal. The Asia-Pacific Amateur champ earns a berth in the Masters. Matsuyama made the cut in both Masters appearances he made as an amateur and earned low-amateur honors in 2011 after finishing T27. Louis Oosthuizen, South Africa Age: PGA TOUR record: 20 events, 6 top-10 finishes, including a T2 at the U.S. Open and The Open Championship The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2013 (1-3-1) Oosthuizen grew up as the son of a farmer in South Africa. His father and brother both played tennis at the provincial level, but Oosthuizen opted for golf. He joined the long line of South Africans who have won major championships when he won the 2010 Open Championship at St. Andrews by seven shots. Oosthuizen was one of the many young South Africans whose development was aided by the Ernie Els Foundation, which provides financial assistance to up-and-coming junior golfers. Oosthuizen turned pro in 2002, but he did not win his first European Tour title until 2010, at the Andalucia Open. He won The Open Championship later that year. He s been a consistent presence on major championship leaderboards since then, finishing second at the 2012 Masters, making an albatross in the final round before losing a playoff to Bubba Watson (he won the Maybank Malaysian Open the following week). Oosthuizen was runner-up at this year s U.S. Open and Open Championship. He rebounded from a first-round 77 at the U.S. Open to finish one shot behind Jordan Spieth at Chambers Bay. Oosthuizen shot a back-nine 29 on Sunday, making birdie on six of his final seven holes. He also played in Sunday's final group at The Open Championship at St. Andrews He made birdie on the 72nd hole to get into a playoff with Marc Leishman and Zach Johnson, but finished one shot behind Johnson in the four-hole playoff. He has won seven times on the European Tour. This is his second Presidents Cup appearance as one of three South Africans on the International Team. Charl Schwartzel, South Africa Age: PGA TOUR record: 19 events, 3 top-10 finishes, including a T3 at the Wyndham Championship The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2011, 2013 (5-4-1) Schwartzel finished second in his first start of 2015, at the South African Open, though that finish came after he lost a five-shot lead in his home country s national championship. He was seeking his first South

African Open victory, but played his final five holes in 4 over. It remained Schwartzel s best finish of On the PGA TOUR, Schwartzel finished third at the Wyndham Championship to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs. He made the cut in all four majors, posting a seventh-place finish at the U.S. Open, where he shot a final-round 66. Schwartzel earned his first European Tour card at the 2002 Q-School when he was just 18 years old, the third-youngest player to accomplish the feat. He played on national amateur teams with Louis Oosthuizen, and the two remain close friends. Schwartzel won the 2011 Masters months after Oosthuizen won his first major at The Open Championship. The two are now International Presidents Cup teammates for the second time. Adam Scott, Australia Age: PGA TOUR record: 15 events, 3 top-10 finishes, including a T4 at the World Golf Championships- Cadillac Championship and U.S. Open The Presidents Cup appearances (record): 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 ( ) The International Team s veteran leader, Scott has endured a tough year on the course. The Australian, who became the world's No. 1 player in 2014, finished in the top 10 in just three of 15 PGA TOUR starts this year. His FedExCup season ended at The Barclays, ending a streak of five consecutive appearances in the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola. Scott's year got off to a strong start. He finished T4 at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship while using a short putter for the first time in years. His other top-10s came in majors. He finished T4 at the U.S. Open after a final-round 64, the low round of the day, and T10 at The Open Championship. He held a share of the lead during the final round at St. Andrews before playing his final four holes in 4 over. Scott, who won his first major at the 2013 Masters, spent much of the year adjusting to a new putter and a new caddie. He also became a father for the first time in February. Scott, who had been using a broomstick putter for several years, started the season with a traditional-length putter because of the anchoring ban that takes effect Jan. 1, After struggling with the short putter, Scott has decided to use the long putter without anchoring it.
