1 PMGA INVITATIONAL Sunday, October 28 th, 2018 Conditions of the Competition Match #1(holes 1-9) 2 Man Better Ball Match Play The team that wins the match will earn 2 points. The team that loses the match will earn 0 points. If the teams tie the match then each team will earn 1 point. The number of holes up at the end of the match will give the winning team bonus decimal points. (Ex. if your team is 3 up at the end of the match then your team will win 2.3 points). All handicaps will be applied at 80% off the low player in each match. Match #2(holes 10-18) 2 Man Alternate Shot Match Play Designate which team member will tee off on the odd numbered holes and which team member will tee off on the even numbered holes. The team that wins the match will earn 2 points. The team that loses the match will earn 0 points. If the teams tie the match then each team will earn 1 point. The number of holes up at the end of the match will give the winning team bonus decimal points. (Ex. if your team is 3 up at the end of the match then your team will win 2.3 points). The team handicap is the average of the 2 player s handicaps. All team handicaps will be applied at 80% off the low team in each match. Match #3(holes 1-9) Singles Match Play The player that wins the match will earn 2 points. The player that loses the match will earn 0 points. If the players tie the match then each player will earn 1 point. The number of holes up at the end of the match will give the winning player bonus decimal points. (Ex. if you are 3 up at the end of the match then you will win 2.3 points). All player handicaps will be applied at 80% off the low player in each match.

2 Rules of Play: All play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and its decisions except where modified by the following local rules: Winter Rules are in Effect: A player may lift, clean, and place his ball within one club length no nearer to the hole in his own fairway. Winter Rules end at the front edge of each green. On the fringes of the greens a player may mark, lift, clean, and replace his ball within 1 putter head length no nearer to the hole. The embedded ball rule is in effect through the green. OB defined by white stakes OB also defined by stone walls on holes: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. All other stone walls are to be played as immovable obstructions. All paved, gravel and wood chip cart paths are to be played as immovable obstructions. Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1 applies) The Tournament Committee may, in an exceptional individual case, modify a player s course handicap before or between rounds. In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used.
