2 Mitavite Prize Vouchers Mitavite is proud to sponsor many local events and shows all over Australia. To ensure the sponsorship process is uncomplicated for the organising committees, competitors and all others involved, Mitavite provide prize vouchers which can be redeemed for various Mitavite feeds at our retailers. We rely on our retail stores to support our sponsorship offers by supplying the winners with their prize feed. In order to make the redeeming process easier for the retail stores, we would like to offer the below guidelines to ensure a quick turnaround for your credit: 1. Supply the voucher holder with the feed listed on the voucher 2. Keep the original voucher from the voucher holder 3. Complete your Request for Credit/s paperwork 4. Customers can save up to 40% on feed costs. In the past the use of Bulka Bags has often been limited by the inability of end user customers to safely transport Bulkas into their feed rooms. Mitavite are now able to offer an on farm delivery service with Bulka Bags delivered on one trip pallets using trucks with drop tail gates and pallet walkers. Retail stores can now promote the Mitavite Bulka Bag options without the worry of logistics and in turn increasing their sales. 4 Mitavite Malaysian Sponsored Rider - Wan Ming Growing up in a non-horsey country, I was lucky to start riding when I was 9. The riding school was about an hour away halfway up a windy mountain road and I am grateful that Mum would drive me there on weekends. During school holidays, I would work in exchange for lessons. After a fairly dismal attempt at A Level exams and not getting good grades due to a lack of effort, I was gently nudged into doing my EFA / MEM Level 1 training by my coach and got my qualification as a Level 1 Coach in At the Selangor Turf Club Equestrian Centre where I have worked for more than ten years, I have been given the opportunity to ride various horses as well as compete. I have jumped up to 1.20m and done dressage up to Elementary level. My competition horses are generally fed on Cool Performer and hay and chaff. Performa 3 Oil will be given to my older horses as it has anti - inflammatory properties as well as adding a bit more energy. 2 weeks before a competition, we increase the quantity of Performa 3 Oil as a loading period. I have also mixed Cool Performer with Formula 3. I find that Formula 3 gives the horses a bit more pep but being oat free, it does not heat up the horses too much. In 2004, I spent 8 months in the UK, working as a groom for a carriage driver / farrier, David Gulley and got my BDS Preliminary Competency Driving certificate. I had a great time and competed in carriage driving competitions, which are similar to the eventing format. I work with a lot of ex racehorses and run an Ex Racehorse Retraining Programme. In this programme, the horses are fed mainly hay and Cool Performer. I find that the Cool Performer keeps the weight on the horses but does not fizz them up, which is the last thing we need while trying to retrain a racehorse. The great thing about this diet is that you do not have to feed large quantities of Cool Performer to get a result. Some horses are also given Performa 3 Oil if their coats need an extra boost. Last year, I had the chance to compete at the Horse of the Year Show in New Zealand. Catherine Cameron, who is a Mitavite rider in NZ, found me a horse to ride and coached me through the event. I also had a lesson with Jody Hartstone on her Donnerwind. Jody is also a Mitavite rider in NZ and is one of the best dressage riders in NZ. Throughout my time at the Selangor Turf Club and while being sponsored by Mitavite, I have had clinics with Clayton Fredericks, Vicky Roycroft, and many other international riders. It has been a dream come true. The goal for this year is to continue training my exracehorse, Stanton to Novice / Elementary level dressage. He is a lovely chestnut horse by Choisir and has shown great potential. With some luck, I may find another showjumper or Stanton may just have to do both!
