Dressage, dressage driving, western dressage, eventing dressage, and fun classes offered. We have classes for every level to give competitors lots of opportunities to show off their horses. Please read the prize list thoroughly. Divisions: Jr/Young rider (21 as of Jan 1 st ), Senior (both open and amateurs age 22 and up) Awards: Ribbons to 8 th place; High Point Weekend Awards for the highest percentage ride in 6 areas (Intro, Training, First, Second and above, Western, Driving divisions). Eventing tests will be recognized with regular dressage tests. High Point excludes Musical Freestyle for both English and Western. Classes: Split by Jr/Yg rider or Senior divisions but may be combined if entries warrant. Minimum class size requirement for driving division. Classes for novice rider or horse are limited to those showing Introductory Level for the first show season. ODS Schooling Show Championship award. Championship to be held on Sept.23, 2018 at our September Schooling show. Junior/Yg rider, Adult Amateur and Open divisions. To qualify horse and rider combination must have 2 scores from 2 different judges above 60% for the following tests: Intro B, Training Level Test 3, First Level Test 3, Second Level Test 3, Western Intro 4, Western Basic 4, Western Level 1 Test 4, Western Level 2 Test 4 at an ODS recognized schooling show. Please see the ODS website for recognized events. Qualifying scores may be submitted through Sept. 22nd. Championship classes will be the tests listed above. Horse and Rider may only show in two consecutive levels. Enclose qualifying test copies with entry.

2 Information/Fees: (Sorry, no refunds after the closing date) Class Fees: Youth $20 per class, Adult $25 per class, additional $10 for championship class Non-competing horse: $25 plus office fee and applicable stabling or haul-in fees Number/Office Fees: $15 per entry (horse/rider or driver combination) for the weekend Stalls: $80 for the weekend in barn A. $55 daily rate in barn B only, $65 per weekend in barn B. o No shavings provided with the stabling fees. Bedding must be purchased from the facility Tack stalls $60 Bedding: $7 per bag available for purchase at the show grounds. Please pre-purchase to ensure that the bedding is available at the time of your arrival. Haul in: $20 per day Camper/Electrical Hookup: $25 per 24 hour period Late Entry Fee, if postmarked after closing date: $20 (available if room) Returned Check Fee: $30 Facilities: Show will be held in indoor sand rings large dressage ring used; small dress ring may be used for Intro and Training levels at the discretion of management. Indoor sand arena available for warm-up. Driving test will be held in 40x80m arena at the end of the day. Food available on grounds; dogs must be on leashes; standard dressage rules, especially regarding equipment. Test/class limit 5 per day per horse. Post scheduling class changes will only be made as the schedule allows. MANDATORY HELMET DUE TO INSURANCE! USEF standards for helmets will be strictly enforced. Dress code is relaxed. Boots or half-chaps, safe riding shoes with a heel, neat and clean shirt/jacket with a collar. Appropriate western and/or driving hats acceptable if worn over a safety helmet. Driving Class: Restricted to single horse hitch; helmet mandatory; safe/appropriate harness and cart required. Comfortable/safe/appropriate clothing. Dressage judges will officiate all classes. Ride/drive times will be available on the website or Ride times will also be ed if the provided is clear and legible.

6 OHIO LIABILITY RELEASE AND ACKNWLEDGMENT I AGREE that I choose to participate voluntarily in the Ohio Dressage Society s DownCenterline shows and/or Ohio Dressage Society hosted or sponsored activities. I am fully aware and acknowledge that horseback riding and equine activities carry inherent dangerous risks of accident, loss, and serious bodily injury. In accordance with the Ohio Equine Liability Act, Ohio Revised Code , I do hereby acknowledge the following INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES: a) The propensity of an equine to behave in ways that may result in injury, death or loss to person on or around the equine; b) The unpredictability of an equine s reaction to sounds, sudden movement, unfamiliar objects, persons, or other animals; c) Hazards, including, but not limited to, surface or subsurface conditions; d) A collision with another equine, another animal, a person, or an object; e) The potential of an equine activity participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury, death, or loss to the person of the participant or to other person, including, but not limited to, failing to maintain control over an equine or failing to act within the ability of the participant.
