(Capra hircus, ranch). The honey-colored brown goat horn ranges in size from 12 to 18. The black goat horn is 5 to 8 long. These are heavily weathered pieces with pitting, discoloration, scaling, or holes. Ideal for a rough look only. Most of these horns come to us loose (not matched). We will do our best to select closely matched antlers and horns if you wish. These are a good source of yak horn for those interested in just the horn. They come from a ranch in the mountain states. We sell the horns on the skull. We do not break the set. They are listed as CITES I animals the most protected category that does not allow for any commercial trade. Wild yak are very rare. The species has been domesticated and is not protected if there is proof that the animal was raised on a ranch and not in the wild. The same thing applies for ostrich. They are rare in the wild, but are common on farms and ranches. We only sell products from domesticated yak or ostriches.
