3 Protests in Burma There have been huge protests in Burma. Thousands of people protested in the streets. Many protestors were Buddhist monks. They are angry with the military government. Police and soldiers have tried to stop the protests. Nine people were shot.
4 Protests in Burma Hundreds of monks have been arrested. The military is in charge of Burma. The military has banned protests. There were big protests in But the military forced the protests to stop. At least 3000 people were killed.
5 Explosion in the Maldives A bomb exploded in the Maldive capital. The explosion happened in a park. Twelve tourists were injured. A British couple were hurt. They had just been married. The Maldives is a popular holiday destination. Police are investigating the explosion. Ten suspects have been arrested.
6 Miners Rescued 3200 South African miners have been rescued. They were underground for several days. No one was hurt. There was an accident in the mine. A broken pipe cut the lift cable. The miners were mining for gold. The mine has been shut down. South Africa has lots of deep mines.
7 Volcano Erupts in Middle East A volcano erupted on an island near Yemen. Lots of lava flowed into the sea. Part of the island collapsed into the sea. Officials think earthquakes made the eruption happen. The volcano is near an army base. Fifty soldiers had to evacuate. Eight people died in the eruption. Several soldiers are missing.
8 Policemen Sticker Cards Devon police are producing policemen sticker cards. Some children have started collecting them. They collect the cards from police officers. The cards help children get to know local policemen. There are 30 different cards. The cards show police officers or police vehicles.
9 Policemen Sticker Cards The cards are in order of colour. There are gold, silver and bronze cards. Gold cards show important police officials. Gold cards are difficult to collect. There is a prize for children with all the cards. The prize is a special visit to the police station.
10 Giant Dinosaur Bones Discovered Dinosaur bones have been found in Argentina. The bones are from a new type of giant dinosaur. Hip, back and tail bones have also been discovered. The dinosaur lived 80 million years ago. It was about 32 metres long. It was as tall as six giraffes. Scientists think it ate plants. It's name is Chief of the Lizards.
11 Liberal Democrat Leader Resigns The Liberal Democrat leader has resigned. Mr Campbell has been leader since March His resignation shocked lots of people. Mr Campbell said people were questioning his ability. Some people thought he was too old. Recently the party have been losing votes. There is a contest for a new leader. The winner will be announced on December 17th 2007.
12 Missile Launched Accidentally A U.S missile was accidentally launched in the Middle East. The missile launched from a base in Qatar. The missile hit a farm in Qatar. No one was hurt. The USA has a big military base in Qatar. American military is investigating the launch.
13 Film Review: Dream Girls The story happens in 1960's America. It is about a car salesman. His name is Curtis Taylor. He wants to start a record label. Curtis meets a girl band called 'The Dreamettes'. He helps them become famous.
14 Film Review: Dream Girls But Curtis rearranges the group. Their songs become very successful. But their relationships become difficult. There is music throughout the whole film. Some of the singing is amazing. Dream Girls has a 12A film certificate.
15 Film Review: All The King's Men The story happens in 1930's America. It is about a man called Willie Stark. Willie Stark wants to become Governor of Louisiana. He wants to represent the working people. Willie is a good man. He has morals and doesn't drink alcohol.
16 Film Review: All The King's Men Soon Willie becomes rich and powerful. He begins to become corrupted. Willie forgets his morals and beliefs. The film has a great cast. There is lots of brilliant filming. All The King's Men has a 12 film certificate.
17 Film Review: The Breakup The story is about a couple in Chicago, USA. Brooke works in an art gallery. Gary works on a tour bus. They live together in a beautiful apartment. One night, Gary and Brooke have a big argument. They decide to break up.
18 Film Review: The Breakup But neither person will move out from the apartment. They try forcing each other to leave. Gary has parties to annoy Brooke. Brooke starts dating other men. There are some very funny scenes. The Breakup has a 12 film certificate.
19 Film Review: The Reef The Reef is a computer animated film. The story is about a fish called Pi. Pi lives in the sea near the city. One day, Pi's parents are caught in a net. He has to move to the reef. He meets a beautiful fish called Cordelia.
20 Film Review: The Reef But a big shark bullies Cordelia. Pi must fight the shark. A scary turtle lives in a pirate shipwreck. The old turtle agrees to help him. The film's animation is very good. The Reef has a U film certificate.

29 Why are Rhinos in Danger? There are Sumatran Rhinos. Javan Rhinos are the world's rarest Rhinos. Rhinos are hunted for their horn. Poachers hunt them illegally with guns and snares. Snares are made of wire, and cut into legs.
30 Why are Rhinos in Danger? Rhino horn is used to make medicine in China. In the Yemen, rhino horn is used to make daggers. Rhinos die just for this, how horrible!
31 How Can You Help Save the Rhino? Rangers help protect wild rhinos. Some rangers were poachers and now help protect rhinos. Protecting rhinos can be difficult and dangerous. Equipment can be expensive! Save the Rhino fund raises to help pay for this work. Get involved and fund raise with your friends. Join Save the Rhino or make a donation. Let people know rhinos need our help.

38 Roasted Vegetable Pizza Method Preheat the oven to 220 degrees, gas Mark 7. Get the sharp knife and chopping board. Slice the aubergine. Thinly slice the peppers. Chop the onion into small wedges. Thinly slice the courgette.
39 Roasted Vegetable Pizza Method Get the baking dish. Add the vegetables, oil, thyme and vinegar. Mix the ingredients well. Put the baking dish into the oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Get the oven gloves.
40 Roasted Vegetable Pizza Method Remove the baking dish from the oven. Put the pitta breads onto a baking tray. Spread 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce onto each pitta bread. Put the vegetables on top of the tomato sauce. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove the pizzas from the oven.
