Connie is currently checking on finding better rates for our CD's and Savings. Replacement cores for the 3D targets are scheduled to arrive the week of 07/10/2017. RMAA shoot went well at Curt Gowdy State Park. Super Day Volunteers requested Club info to display as well as a table and Chairs. Capital Lumber and Mead Lumber are sponsors of the Championship Class this year s Bow Hunter Weekend. New Business: Need to add the Hunt raffle to the facebook page and newsletter. Sales are slow to this point. Mac is purchasing water for the upcoming bow hunter weekend. Need to repair the DVR with a new Hard drive (DVR is repaired and currently recording). Portta-Potties are reserved for Bow Hunter weekend. Need Coolers for water on the course. Club purchased a small utility trailer for hauling targets at our outdoor events. Passed by a unanimous voted by all present. Club needs cleaned up. David Hays made the suggestion that we hire someone to clean the restrooms or setup a volunteer schedule by the members. Michael Bean thanked the membership for running the club and keeping it organized. He also proposed a new non official position to organize volunteers and handle comments and suggestions. The members present voted to allow Michael to assume that role. Final work party for Bow Hunter weekend is Monday July 31, The club is also raising money for the kids bow to be given away at bow hunter weekend. Motion to adjourn by Chad Whaley, second Greg Wooden. Adjourn 8:34 pm.
2 The Cheyenne Field Archers had a busy June and July, hosting a booth for kids to shoot at Curt Gowdy SP during free camp and fish weekend. Thank You to Greg Wooden, Tim Zacharies and his sons Timmy and Daniel. A big thank you to the Super Day Volunteers: David Hays, Myron Reed, Tim Zacharias, Monica and Jim Mallon, Mary and Al Tharp, Alice Tharp, AJ Tharp, Lora Ketterling, John Wilson, Callista Wilson, Kent Ketterling. 4 On July 10, 2017 the Cheyenne Field archers presented members of the Wyoming Game and Fish a check for $1000 for the Access Yes program. For every dollar donated, it opens up roughly 4 Acres of private ground for public hunting, fishing, hiking and such. The benefits of this program are far reaching, not just for bow hunters. Thank you David Hays for mowing the outdoor range and around the building. Thank you Michelle Wilson and kids for cleaning the restrooms at the club. Load trailers and finalize plans for bow hunter weekend Monday evening July 31, 2017 at 6 pm. All help is appreciated.

6 34 th Annual Bow Hunters Weekend At Curt Gowdy State Park Hosted by Cheyenne Field Archers August 5 th and 6 th 2017 Registration Saturday: 7:00 am to 10:00 am Sunday: Shooters Meeting at 7:30 Shotgun Start at 8:00 am Shooting Fees: One Day Two Days Adult: $20 $30 Championship K50y $75 Young Adult: $15 $20 Youth: $10 $10 Cubs: No Charge No Charge Hunter Class: $20 $25 Non residents will be charged WY residential fee for Park camping and daily use fee. ** One day shooters on Saturday only with NO payback ** NO REFUNDS Classes: Adult (18+) OPEN.(Moveable sights, release aid) BHFS...(Fixed pins, release aid, 12 stabilizer) BHFSL....(Fixed pins, No release aid, 12 stabilizer) SENIOR BHFS......(Fixed pins, release aid, 12 stabilizer) TRADITIONAL.....(Recurve/LB, no sights, finger release) SENIOR....(Open and Traditional) HUNTER CLASS.... (NO PAYBACK) BAREBOW....(No sights or release aid, 12 stabilizer) NEW Championship K50y.... (shoot what you bring) 17 years old and younger YOUNG ADULT MALE/FEMALE....(15 17) YOUTH MALE/FEMALE......(12 14) CUBS BOYS/GIRLS.....(11 younger) NO CROSSBOWS OR RANGEFINDERS RANDOM SPEED CHECK 300 fps +3% Use of verifier peeps will be allowed in all classes that allow sights. Targets: Max distance: 50 yards 1 arrow scoring: unmarked targets each day with a shotgun start on Sunday. Championship K50y class will only shoot with other K50y class shooters both days. Young adults will shoot with their competition on Sunday. Youth and Cubs will shoot all 40 targets Saturday for competition score. (Sunday shoot for fun only.) FLIGHTING: Saturday s score is used to determine which flight you shoot in on Sunday. All shooters in a particular flight start out even on Sunday. Sunday scores determine the overall winner each age group/class and flight. (Cubs and Youth use Saturday scores only) Adult classes will be awarded with a Gist silversmith belt buckle. Must have at least 3 shooters per class to qualify for buckle. Raffles on site, food is available on site. Novelty shoots Saturday afternoon, look for times. For more info contact Mac Wilson
