4 GENE HERRMAN ANNOUNCES 2016 CMP RIFLE SHOOT DATES AT BCSC While 2015 was a good year for the CMP Rifle Shoot program, our attendance was down a little. So during the 2016 year we will be trying something new. We are going to incorporate a couple of Poker Shoots into our CMP shoot schedule. A trial shoot with 22 caliber rifles was held in 2015 and it turned out to be exciting for the shooters. The cards are reversed so you cannot see which card is which, and the best hand is scored after each round and targets are switched between shooters. With the cost of ammunition this type of shoot will fit into a budget a little better. So listed below are the CMP Shoot dates for 2016, mark your calendars and we will see you there. These are the dates for the 2016 CMP program at the Berrien County Sportsman s Club. All shoots will be on Saturdays and will start at 8 am on the rifle range. For questions call Gene Herrman at May 14, 2016 CMP Shoot July 9, 2016 Poker Shoot August 13, 2016 Poker Shoot September 10, 2016 CMP? Or Poker Shoot (TBA) October 8, 2016 Military Bolt Shoot SPONSORS NEEDED FOR SUNSET COAST AND APPLE BLOSSOM CUP SHOOTS If you know of any company or group that would like to donate items to the prize table for the 2016 Sunset Coast Regional and Apple Blossom Cup on May 21st or 22nd, please forward their contact information to Promotions Chair Cean Burgeson at promotions@bcsportsmansclub.com. We prefer shooting or outdoor related items. All items should be shipped to or dropped off at the club care of Marty Prillwitz. This is a great opportunity for companies to get their products and names in front of several of the best competitive shooters in the area as well as their families and friends.
