7 North Bristol Sportsman s Club 7 Monthly Drawing Volunteers are the key to every event and activity that takes place at the club. Their contributions come in all forms, from maintenance and repairs to cooking and serving as RSOs. To recognize the importance of volunteer time, the club does a drawing at each monthly meeting. 9 North Bristol Sportsman s Club 9 R3 R a n d o m R a n g e R a n t s Hunting Season is almost over. Cold enough to think about ice fishing and Winter Skeet. Trap shooting in the snow is always good too. Winter trap starts Monday, January 12th. Speaking of fish, smelt season is open, and we have 4 smelt fries scheduled again this year. These are a great time, and a great time to hang out with other club members and do something fun to promote the club. What else do you have to do in the winter but clean tiny fish, AND hang out at your favorite local gun club. Member Appreciation Day (MAD) is coming up too, time to renew your membership and shoot a little, participate in the Meat Raffle and Rifle Raffle, have a cocktail and spread some BS. Carl and his handy crew did some AWESOME work on the trap and pistol ranges, ready for another successful year in Archery is getting geared up, Rimfire is still pinging along and Five Stand is starting to grow. We need some input from the members to help improve what the club has to offer, and improve what we have. Anyone interested in improving the High School Trap Team program, or help with Hunters Ed, or other Mentoring and youth programs, let the Club, or board members know. Let s work together to make the Club The Place to Shoot Shoot straight and be Safe See you at the Club.
