1 by Fabio Brianzoni z photos by Paola Drera, Fabio Brianzoni For many years a Fair totally dedicated to horse and equestrian world has been hold in the town of Wels, Austria. As in the best tradition Arabian horses participate in a International B show and in the national Austrian show. Shows are not the only one reason why we go all years to Wels. We also want to be present to attend one of the most prestigious Open Days in Europe, the one at La Movida. As always Mr. Ferdinand Huemer is the organizer of it and the brilliant master of the house. La Movida Open Day is an appointment nobody can miss, not only for the high quality horses you can admire there. On of the most important reason is the chance to meet breeders from all over the world. This year during the wonderful party we reminded all together one of the most important breeders in the world passed away in January. Mrs Lenita Perroy gave her invaluable contribution to the breeding program of La Movida spread then with Ferdinand throughout Europe. Saturday 12th May a lavish catering welcomed the - TUTTO ARABI 117

2 guests and at 8pm the presentation started. 18 fantastic horses were showed, 13 of them were crossed with horses came from Haras Meia Lua, Brasil. We all will remember that night as one of the most touching nights ever thanks to the speech of Ferdinand about Lenita and the creativity of her mind in life and in breeding. And also thanks to the special beauty of the horses showed that compose one of the most important private collections in the world. EIFFEL MEIA LUA I am sure the streaming by Arabian Essence let thousands of people from home to admire the beauty of the event. Being there live was a great emotion. Hope that everyone once in lifetime can attend great events like this. See you there next year. q Short interview to Mr. Ferdinand Huemer TuttoArabi: Ferdinand, will you breed in the future using Brazilian blood lines? Ferdinand: Yes, - I will use also in the future bloodlines which are coming from Brazil, - to be exact: coming from Lenita. After Lenita passed away in January I was allowed to keep for me 4 of her most important horses: JYVARA EL MAKTUB, - the spectacular full sister to my stallion JYAR MEIA LUA ELLUZIA MEIA LUA,(Enzo x Elle Dorada) 5 years old mare ERYKAH MEIA LUA, - ( Marwan Al Shaqab x Erynne El Perseus) 1 year old filly And the most spectacular colt EIFFEL MEIA LUA 2017 colt ( El Jahez WH x Ezeyda Meia Lua) who represents best Lenita s actual ideal of an Arabian Horse. ERYKAH MEIA LUA TuttoArabi: How much Lenita has been important in your life as a breeder? Ferdinand: Lenita has been tremendously important to me of course, - as a friend and as a breeders colleague for more than 25 years. The particularity in our relationship has been perhaps the fact, that even we both used similar bloodlines, - we had always different priorities in our horses and so we created different styles of horses coming from similar lines. 118 TUTTO ARABI - JYVARA EL MAKTUB
