14 Eurotech Casegoods Eurotech Casegoods manufactures its desk series to the highest industry standards possible. All parts of this desk series are cut, shaped and prepared with the most modern, up-to-date machinery under the watchful eyes and hands of our experienced staff. All desks are shipped assembled with the exception of the bridge, desk and corner shells. All surfaces are manufactured with 45 lb. density (E-1 rated) particleboard and are finished on both sides with high-performance thermally fused melamine. The surfaces are mar, burn and impact resistant. Our desk series is assembled with dowels, steel L brackets, screws and high pressure resin coated staples for strength and durability. Tops and end panels are all 1 thick. All tops, end panels and drawer fronts have 3mm edge banding. All desks are standard with full height modesty panels. Pedestals have locking drawers. Pedestals are available as box + file (BF), full height box, box, file (BBF) and full height file, file (FF). Box and file drawers have 100 lb. full suspension ball bearing slides and are finished in black. All file drawers are standard with high sides to accommodate file folders. Lateral files have anti-tip mechanism, full suspension ball bearing slides and lock. Box and file drawers are all 5-sided, the 4 sides of the box plus the drawer front. They are assembled with dowels, glue and resin coated staples to assure superior construction. All units have 3/4 adjustable glides. Grommets are standard on returns, bridges, hutches and corner units. 2

35 Condition of Sales Order placement All orders are required in writing to avoid errors or duplication and to insure their compliance. Orders must be completed with Eurotech Casegoods code numbers for products, colors and others. Each order must contain the buyer s order form number. Normal production turnaround will apply from receipt of exact written information from the buyer. Order acknowledgment Orders will be acknowledged by Eurotech Casegoods. Each acknowledgment describes products to be shipped and specifies the scheduled shipping date. It is the buyer s responsibility to detect any error or discrepancy on the acknowledgment and to report it immediately to Eurotech Casegoods by phone or in writing within 48 hours. Changes Any change to an original purchase order must be requested in writing no later than 48 hours after receipt of the original order. If approved, modification may result in production rescheduling. Cancellations Cancellation must be requested in writing no later than hours after receipt of the original order. If approved by written consent from Eurotech Casegoods, charges may be applicable, up to 35% of the value of original order. Prices All prices listed are suggested retail prices. Prices do not always include shipping and never include installation. Prices are subject to change without notice. If requested shipping date is more than 90 days from date of order, Eurotech Casegoods shall have the right to use the published list prices effective at the time of shipment. The right is reserved to make changes, at any time and without prior notice, to prices, colors, materials, specifications and models offered. Special orders After written approval of Eurotech Casegoods, some regular products proposed in Eurotech Casegoods official price list may, in some cases, be modified according to very rigorous technical specifications. You must contact your representative and/or customer service to discuss terms and conditions, and to obtain an estimate of costs related to modifications submitted in writing by customer. Weight, volume and dimensions Dimension values are in inches. Shipping weights and volumes are approximate. Quotations Quotations are valid for a period of thirty (30) days. Storage Eurotech Casegoods may bill storage expenses to the buyer when required. Routing Eurotech Casegoods chooses the carrier, unless otherwise stipulated by the buyer. Claims Upon receipt of the merchandise, the dealer must verify the merchandise. If there is damage or short shipment, dealer must advise customer service within one (1) day to make a claim. A solution will be taken to resolve the problem. Eurotech Casegoods merchandise is carefully packed and thoroughly inspected before leaving the warehouse. Claims for loss or damage sustained in transit must therefore be filed to Eurotech Casegoods. Eurotech Casegoods may not be held responsible for any delay caused by the carrier. Returns No return will be accepted without prior authorization by Eurotech Casegoods. Each return must have an authorization number. Absolutely no return will be accepted on any non-standard products. Returns of items authorized by Eurotech Casegoods will be subject to restocking charges up to 35% of the original value of the merchandise. Merchandise must be returned in it original packaging. Warranty Eurotech Casegoods warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of delivery. This warranty is made by Eurotech Casegoods only to purchasers acquiring the product directly from Eurotech Casegoods authorized dealers, or others who are specifically authorized by Eurotech Casegoods.
