Rick thanked everyone who helped out with the Veterans Show. It was the best one we have had. Get well wishes to Mollie Boyd and Jon Pulver Mary gave the Treasurer s report. We voted to give $ to the Coast Guard Nat s Pantry, $ to the Loch Raven Veterans Rehabilitation Facility and $ to a child having brain surgery through Dave Williams. Wayne Gerst had 5 vehicles in the East Coast Nationals and won 4 trophies. Congratulations to Wayne. We discussed the upcoming Christmas Car Show. Be there at 7am to set up. The Christmas Show is December 13 at the Dewey Lowman American Legion in Arbutus. We need baked goods and items for the auction as well as filled baskets to raffle. We discussed purchasing several items for the Club. A larger trailer and 3 pop up canopies. The members voted and agreed on these purchases. Plenty seats are still available on the bus for Atlantic City, Feb. 27, We presented a $ donation to Joe Miller for the American Legion Post 195 There will be no meeting at the end of December or in January. Everyone will be notified if the meeting location changes. We will be holding elections in February and if you would like to nominate someone or yourself, please see Diane Pattan. The Club Members presented Rick a Christmas gift. The 50/50 was drawn and the meeting was adjourned with a prayer. A Christmas party followed. Chaplain s Corner I am amazed at some of the unbelievable offers that flood my e-mail box every day.

Everyone- - -from a $1 million prize to a $7 million offer- - -was nothing but a lie sent to unscrupulous people to squeeze money from me.

5 Chaplain s Corner I am amazed at some of the unbelievable offers that flood my box every day. I took my calculator recently and totaled up the offers of free money that came to me in one week, and my take totaled $26 million. But each of those offers were a fraud. Everyone- - -from a $1 million prize to a $7 million offer- - -was nothing but a lie sent to unscrupulous people to squeeze money from me. We re all vulnerable to fantastic offers- - -to scams that in reality pay off with nothing but trouble. We are offered false hope that ends in dashed dreams. There is one offer however, that is genuine, though fantastic beyond belief. It s the offer God makes to us- - -salvation through faith in Jesus finished work on the cross: Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. It is an offer that cost Him greatly- - -and we get the benefits. The book of Romans tells us He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. By saying yes to salvation, we can have hope, peace, forgiveness and redemption. This is the real deal. Jesus death and resurrection guarantees it. On The Lighter Side A day without sunshine is like night. Support bacteria They re the only culture some people have. Change is inevitable, except from vending machines. 7 2015 CHRISTMAS CAR SHOW Our new location for the show at the Dewey Lowman American Legion was a great success. We were so fortunate to have warm weather for a December show. We had over 100 cars registered and the auction was a great success. Special thanks to Chris Derkacz, Jimmy Helmick and John McKenny for co-chairing the event. Thanks to everyone who attended and to the American Legion for making us feel welcome. 7
