MED Year Os In the spring of 2010, Medvejie had a water shut off event that resulted in the loss of a large number and Survivors of BY 09 fry that were scheduled for Medvejie raceway rearing("med" group fish). Other fish scheduled for zero check release were already in saltwater netpens. A group of these were moved BACK to FRESHWATER to replace the lost fry. These were named "Year Os". Fry that survived the shutof were named "Survivors". These were then reared as MED group fish going to saltwater in October These groups have unique CWT codes which will allow us to compare survival rates. MED Diet Trial Reared as "MED" above with a different feed. SEAREADY HPM BC HPM HP CRAW Medvejie hatchery raceway summer rearing; over winter in saltwater net pens; yearling smolts.
