1 Terms and Conditions 1. The Promoter of this prize draw promotion (the prize draw ) is Volvo Car UK Limited, Scandinavia House, Norreys Drive, Maidenhead, SL6 4FL. 2. The prize draw is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Volvo Car UK Limited and their families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners), its associated companies, retailers and agencies or anyone professionally associated with this Promotion. 3. The prize draw is free and no purchase is necessary. By entering this promotion, you accept these promotional terms and the conditions herein. 4. Promotion Period: GMT GMT on Thursday 22 nd February To Enter: Participants must attend the Volvo XC40 launch event at a participating Volvo retailer within the Promotion Period, and provide the host with a valid name, telephone number and address to be entered into the Local Prize Draw and the Main Prize Draw. One entry per person. 6. Participants should ensure they consider maximum capacity limits for their chosen retailer when deciding on an arrival time to give them the best opportunity to gain entry, and provide ample time for hosts to collect their information before the closing time of the Promotional Period. If Participants do not complete their registration within the Promotion Period, then they will not be entered into the prize draw. 7. Entry to attend a Volvo XC40 launch event is subject to capacity at each individual retailer which dictates the number of prize draw tickets allocated to that retailer. Please see clause 24 for retailer capacity and Prize Draw entry limits. If the maximum capacity has been reached and Participants cannot attend the launch event or the prize draw ticket allocation for the retailer has been reached then they will not be entered into the prize draw. Volvo advise early attendance to try and avoid disappointment of not being able to attend. Entry to attend a Volvo XC40 launch event and participation in the relevant prize draws are on a first come first serve basis. 8. The Prizes: a. One Local Prize Draw winner per retailer (96 in total) will each win one Harman Kardon SoundSticks Wireless Speaker System. b. One Main Prize winner will win a new Volvo XC40 R-Design. The winner will be able to choose the colour of the car from the available options. Any additional extras will be at the cost of the winner. The prize does not include accessories or road charges. 9. The winner of the Volvo XC40 must provide insurance details before taking delivery of the car. Delivery details for the Volvo XC40 will be agreed with the winner at their local Volvo Cars retailer. 10. The winner of the Volvo XC40 is responsible for paying any taxes associated with the prize they receive. 11. Winner Selection: a. The Local Prize Draw winners will be the first entries randomly selected by an independent adjudicator from all valid entry forms for each participating retailer received by the closing time in respect to this prize draw. The prize draw will take place on 22nd February b. The Main Prize Draw winner will be the first entry randomly selected by an independent adjudicator from all valid entry forms from all participating retailers received by the closing time in respect to this prize draw. The prize draw will take place on 22nd February Winner Notification: a. Local Prize Draw winners will be notified by /phone within 5 working days of the draw and will be required to respond to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the prize within 14 Days of initial contact. In the event a winner does not respond to communications within the 14 days of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to

2 disqualify that winner and allocate that prize to an alternative winner selected in the same manner. b. Main Prize Draw winner will be notified by and via the Volvo retailer by the end of the launch event on 22 nd February In the event that there is any error with the technology performing the winner selection during the launch event, then the winner will be notified by within 2 working days of the 22 nd February The Promoter s decision is final and binding in all respects on all participants. No other correspondence will be entered into about it. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified. No liability is accepted for illegible, incomplete or late entries. 14. No cash or other alternatives to the prize are available, nor is it transferable and must be claimed by the person named on the official winning entry form within 28 days of notification. Failure to claim the prize within this period will lead to the prize being forfeited and will entitle the Promoter to redraw another winner without liability in accordance with the same process described above. 15. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of Local Prize Draw Prizes from the date of winner acceptance. Prizes will only be sent to the country of residence as stated in clause In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative reward of equal or greater value. 17. The Promoter reserves the right to photograph and use the name of the winner and his/her travel companions to announce the winner of this prize draw and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes without charge, and the winner hereby consents to the same. 18. The name and county of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Volvo Event Support, Burton Road, Norwich, NR6 6AS from the 22 nd March 2018 for 4 weeks. 19. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.. The Promoter also has the right to disqualify a participant if they tamper or abuse the entry process and they will not be entitled to the prize if they have acted fraudulently or dishonestly. 20. Participants are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and any guest whilst at the event. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude participants and/or guest from participation in the event if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the event or the participant and/or guest act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. 21. By entering the prize draw, all participants confirm they have read, accepted and agreed to be bound to the terms and conditions of which the application instructions form part. 22. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies, and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any cancellation, or changes to the prize beyond the Promoter s control and for any act or default of any third-party supplier. 23. The prize draw is governed by English law and participants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 24.
