That ranks as the 10th-best scoring average in BC history Scored 725 points during the season - the second-most points in a single-season in BC history Led the Eagles in scoring 20 times CLEMSON: Seth Beer, Junior, Baseball Junior Seth Beer had 18 homers in 2016, 16 home runs in 2017 and had 22 homers in 2018, meaning he had 56 career homers. His 56 career homers were fourth in Tiger history. He led all 2018 players in the nation in career home runs. He was named one of 32 semifinalists for the Dick Howser Trophy, the award he won as a freshman in He hit.301 with 22 homers, 11 doubles, 54 RBIs, 64 runs, a.456 on-base percentage and a steal in 63 games in He reached base via a hit, walk or hit-by-pitch in 58 of the 63 games in He reached base via hit, walk or hit-by-pitch in 23 straight games from March to April. In his career, he hit.321 with 41 doubles, a triple, 56 homers, 177 RBIs, 172 runs and a.489 onbase percentage in 188 games. He became the first Tiger in history with 16 or more homers in three seasons. He became the first Tiger since Matthew LeCroy ( ) to lead the team in home runs three times. He became the first Tiger since Jim McCollom ( ) to lead the team in slugging percentage three times. He had 180 career walks, tied for second in Tiger history, versus 98 strikeouts. WAKE FOREST: Petros Chrysochos, Junior, Tennis Chrysochos, a junior, helped lead Wake Forest to its first tennis national championship. The Demon Deacons went 6-0 during the NCAA-run, beating Ohio State 4-2 in the national championship match. Chrysochos went 44-4 during the season and ended the year on a 30-match winning streak. In addition, Chrysochos went on to win the NCAA Singles Championship with a straight set victory over Wake Forest teammate Borna Gojo. Chrysochos was named All-American, first team All-ACC and was a three-time ACC Player of the Week. He received the ITA Carolina Region Arthur Ashe, Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award. Chrysochos was named the Most Outstanding Player at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship which Wake Forest won in February. In the fall, he teamed with Skander Mansouri to win the ITA National Fall Doubles Championship.
