WAKE FOREST: Petros Chrysochos, Junior, Tennis Chrysochos, a junior, helped lead Wake Forest to its first tennis national championship. The Demon Deacons went 6-0 during the NCAA-run, beating Ohio State 4-2 in the national championship match. Chrysochos went 44-4 during the season and ended the year on a 30-match winning streak. In addition, Chrysochos went on to win the NCAA Singles Championship with a straight set victory over Wake Forest teammate Borna Gojo. Chrysochos was named All-American, first team All-ACC and was a three-time ACC Player of the Week. He received the ITA Carolina Region Arthur Ashe, Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award. Chrysochos was named the Most Outstanding Player at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship which Wake Forest won in February. In the fall, he teamed with Skander Mansouri to win the ITA National Fall Doubles Championship.
