4 26/05/13 Buchan suffered another defeat in the Andrew Hamilton Trophy with a narrow defeat against Angus. After yet another poor start, they found themselves 45 shots behind at one point before rallying towards the end and reducing the deficit to 11 shots. The match began in heavy rain and with Bon Accord adjusting to the conditions better they ended up comfortable winners. The team for next week's home game against Angus at Ellon has been added to the website. We re hoping for better weather & result next week. Many thanks to Phil Anderson for accepting the roll of Auditor to the Association. There are changes also in the counties set up with Davy Hay accepting the Counties Secretary position. The selectors for the coming season are Jim Ritchie,Raymond Brown,Mike Stephen (Team Captain) Derek Murray, Martin Wilson and another to be announced. We would wish at this time to thank Jim Yule for his excellent work as Secretary/ Treasurer over the past two years. Happy retirement Jim.
