2 Foreword Forward The Beef Suckler Herd was formed 10 years ago following the purchase of Daccombe Manor Farm. The cows are managed on a grass based system and housed in the winter months fed on hay and silage. Replacement Heifers have been kept back and put to bull over the years. The youngstock have been reared on grass and housed during the winter being fed on hay and some concentrate. There has not been an incidence of TB on the Farm since the herd was formed and the last test was on the 21 st March All of the cows and Heifers (where stated) have been running with the Pedigree Aberdeen Angus Bull (Lot 407) since calving and although believed to be in calf no guarantee is given. Newton Abbot Livestock Auctioneers Order of Sale The Order Of Sale Will Be As Follows: The Weekly Sale Of Sheep Starting At 11:00 Am Followed By The Sale Of Prime Cattle, Cull Cattle And Store Cattle. Daccombe Manor Farm s Store Cattle will follow on the end of the normal sale of Store Cattle followed by their Cows & Calves, Cows Running with the Bull and Pedigree Aberdeen Angus Bull. Conditions of Sale The livestock are sold under the conditions of sale produced by the livestock auctioneers association and which are displayed in the market office.
