ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE The Central American and Caribbean Athletics Confederation (CACAC) will carry the XIX Central American and Caribbean Junior A & B Athletics Championships that will be held in San Salvador,. ENTRIES PER COUNTRY AND ATHLETES Each country may enter a maximum of 2 athletes per individual event Each country may enter one relay team in each category with 4 members and 2 alternate Each country may enter a maximum of 3 athletes in Combined Events and Race Walk Each athlete can participate in up to 3 individual events and 2 relays NOTE: An event will not take place if does not have the minimum entry of 5 athletes from 3 different countries. The organizing committee shall immediately notify the countries affected by the decision. OFFICIALS BY TEAM / FINANCIAL The Organizing Committee will provide internal transportation, meals and lodging for all participants for five days under the levy of $ (USD) for every athlete and official, under the quota. Payment shall be made upon registration when arrive to the host hotel and will be made in cash. It covers 5 nights from Wednesday June 27 th until Monday July 2 nd in the morning. The meals will be served from lunch on June 27 to breakfast on July 2 (15 meals per person). Delegations should send, one week prior to the arrival to, the official itinerary. Please indicate the way of transportation (land or air), plus flight number or bus route, arrival time, and the number of people. The maximum number of officials is detailed in the table below: ATHLETES OFFICIALS ATHLETES OFFICIALS to + 1 per each 10 Additional Officials will pay $ $ (U.S. Dollars) per night; this will cover meal, lodging and transportation. Requests for additional officials must be made no later than one week before the official arrival of the delegations, WEDNESDAY JUNE 20 th. 8. COMPETITION VENUE The event will be held at the National Stadium Jorge Magico Gonzalez located in the San Salvador. This venue consists of a 400 meters track, certified Level II, 8 lanes of 1.22 meters, two areas for the long jump, one area for the high jump, a pole vault area, and two areas for javelin, a circle for the discus and hammer throws and two areas for shot put.
9 WARM UP AREA The warm up area is located at 400 meters away from main track and has two lanes of 150 meters. The warm up area includes portable bathrooms and an area for medical and massage care. 9. CALL ROOM The First Call Room will be located in the warm up area, 400 meters away from the stadium. Here is where athletes must report to begin their warm ups. Athletes must be submitted with the accreditation and the competitions numbers. Athletes must warm up with the official uniform of their country. Before entering to the competition area the athletes will have two warning calls to be reported which will have a space of 15 minutes from one call to the other. Afterwards, the athletes will be transported by bus to the stadium according to the schedule detailed below. (See chart). In the stadium will be located the Second Call Room in which the officials will escort the athletes to the track or to the field. No athlete may enter to the Second Call Room if they don t have been reported in the First Call Room.

Under no circumstances an athlete will be admitted to the competition area if all established standards have not been met according to the preceding paragraphs. 10. TECHNICAL INFORMATION CENTER (TIC): Teams can get information from the TIC office, located on the National Stadium. The TIC will ensure the communication between each delegation, the Organizing Committee and the Technical Delegate. The tasks of this center are: Delivery of lists of entries by country. Delivery of lists of start lists competition. Delivery of Official Results. Receiving Final confirmation of participation in all events. Receiving protests under Section 146 of the IAAF Rules. Answer to questions regarding technical aspects. Delivery of New National Record Certification, Distribution of Technical Manual Distribution of passes (Technical Meeting, Anti-Doping Control, Technical Secretariat). Receiving Implements Releases. Distribution of the Official Competition Timetable Distribution of the Call Room Schedule Official Forms Distribution Confirmation of participation per day Confirmation of Relays Confirmation of Combined Events Questions to respond in the Technical Meeting
12 12. TECHNICAL MEETING It will take place in the Championship Host Hotel, on Thursday, June 28 TH at 9:00 a.m. Each country may participate with up to 2 members. All questions concerning to the organization of this competition will be answered during the Technical Meeting, for which the team delegate must complete the form provided by the LOC. The form may be returned to the LOC by or deliver it to the Technical Information Center (TIC) located in the host hotel and the Stadium before 18:00 (6:00 PM) Wednesday June 27 th. Questions from the audience at the Technical Meeting will not be allowed. Before to the meeting, delegates from each team may be obtained from the Technical Information Center, envelopes with all related information, which include: number of competition, entries from their respective countries, competition schedules, different forms, etc. The meeting will be chaired and led by the Technical Delegate. The preliminary agenda of the workshop is as follows: Welcome words by the LOC President Dr. Benjamín Ruiz Rodas Inauguration and Opening Remarks by the CACAC President Prof. Víctor López Presentation of the main officials (Technical Delegate, Jury of Appeal, Medical/Antidoping Delegate, ITO s, ATO s, Competitions Officials). CACAC GENERAL ASSEMBLY (CONGRESS) The General Assembly (Congress) of the CACAC will be held on Sunday July 1 st at 9:00 am followed by lunch. We want to remind the presidents and secretaries that in, this meeting election for the CACAC Executive Council, will be held.
