2 Spectator Guidelines No one is allowed to collect or hand out anything from the teams once the competition begins Do not discuss the competition events with competitors Cheer for all the competitors Keep the competition route clear Do not touch any equipment or competition materials found along the route or at an event site Notify the support staff of any equipment found along the route Park in designated areas only For the safety of our competitors and all spectators, parking or stopping of vehicles is not allowed along the route west of Hwy 9W (Route 293) - please continue to designated parking and spectator areas Visit the Information Center on both days and receive your credentials to watch events west of Hwy 9W Opens at 6am both days! 11 Event 3 Rifle Event 1 Spectator Friendly (Credential Required) Rifle Event #1 takes place at Range 5. The following route is authorized for movement in your POV. The drive will take an estimated 9 minutes covering just over four miles. Directions: Depart Ike Hall and head north on Washington Road. Exit USMA from Washington Gate onto RTE 218. After approximately 1 mile, merge onto RTE 293 and continue in a southerly direction for approximately 1 mile until you seen the Range 5 sign on the left side of the road. Utilize the first parking lot on the left. NO POVs will be permitted any closer to the range. From the parking area follow signs to the spectator area (<.22 miles from the parking lot). Range 5 Amenities at this site includes hearing protection, portable latrines and viewing area of the firing range. 11
