Insert plsti inset filter t the en of eh tue s illustrte. Leve lerne etween the en of the tue n the plsti filter to voi ostruting the tue. Cler tue Inset filter Free spe ) Using the Atti s Referene The tti is usully onsiere goo referene s long s the following onitions re oserve: i) The tti must hve suffiient openings on ll sies of the uiling to llow outsie ir to permete it n ensure tht no permnent pressure ifferene uils up etween the tti n outsie ir (usully, n tti with openings overing 4% of its re is suffiient). To test the suitility of the tti s referene, ple the referene tue in the tti n the room tue outsie or in room with wie openings to the outsie (for exmple, the entrne of house with wie open oors so the pressure in the room is the outsie pressure). The pressure ifferene must e ner zero. You ll notie tht the win my inue pressure ifferene for short perios of time (euse of rething effet). This is the reson the pressure sensor hs time ely on ny tion. The tti is goo referene if you on t see ny permnent pressure ifferene. ii) The tti must e irtight with respet to the jent livestok floor. This wy, no pressure ifferene is inue etween the referene (tti) n outsie pressure ue to the tion of fn. To test the irtightness of the tti with respet to the ventilte room, ple the referene tue in the tti n the room tue outsie or in room with wie openings to the outsie. There shoul e no sensitive pressure rop when you tivte or etivte the fns in the spe next to the tti. No vuum shoul uil up in the tti. Choosing Goo Referene The purpose of the stti pressure sensor is to mintin slight vuum insie the uiling s ompre to the outsie tmospheri pressure. This pressure ifferene (usully in the orer of 0.03 to 0.09 inhes of wter) inues the esire ir spee t the vent oor for n optimum irflow istriution. It is importnt to unerstn tht the pressure ifferene to e ontrolle is the one tht exists etween either sie of the vent oor wll. We must therefore e sure tht the referene is representtive of the urrent outsie pressure. 33 Inlet on Externl SB Moules The first inlet output n e use to onnet externl ir inlet ontrollers (SB moules). To progrm the ir inlets tht re onnete to these SB moules, you must refer to the user s mnul enlose with your prtiulr moule (SB3000 or SB3500) When externl SB moules re use to efine the position of the ir inlets, the CC24-7 Elite n still sk these moules to just the inlet opening when the stti pressure or the room temperture gets out of rnge. This setion explins how these opening ompenstion methos work. No ompenstion is pplie on the inlets t the strtup of new fn stge. When fn stge strts, the ontroller resets the urrent ompenstion vlues n reefines them oring to the pressure & temperture onitions mesure t tht time. The SB3500 limits the ompenstion vlue tht n e pplie on the ir inlets to 50% of their regulr opening. If the ontroller sens ompenstion request tht exee this limit the SB Moule just won t onsier it n won t move the inlet ny further. Stti Pressure Compenstion: A ompenstion n e use to ensure ertin uniformity in the stti pressure level in the room. This stti pressure ompenstion llows opening or losing inlets further when the stti pressure level gets out of rnge. When the stti pressure level exees the norml rnge (ove the Hi Pressure Set point or elow the Lo Pressure Set Point), the ontroller wits for the Win Effet Dely to mke sure this unusul pressure onition is not temporry. If the pressure is still out of rnge fter this ely hs elpse, the inlet ompenstion (%) is pplie on the opening of ll inlets: they lose further y their respetive ompenstion vlue (%) when the pressure level is too low [point A on the grph] or open further y their ompenstion vlue (%) when the pressure level is too high [point C on the grph]. The ontroller then wits for the Win Effet Dely one gin. If the pressure level is still out of rnge fterwrs, the opening ompenstion is pplie one more. This yle is repete up until the pressure gets k in the norml rnge or until new stge strts. When the pressure level gets k to the norml rnge [points B & D on the grph], ll inlets keep their ompenste position until the eginning of new stge. No ompenstion is pplie on the inlet opening when new stge strts. Temperture Compenstion: A ompenstion n e tivte to ensure ertin uniformity in the room temperture: the ir inlet positions re utomtilly juste when the temperture reing of the inlets proes iffers from the verge room temperture re y the ontroller. The inlet temperture ompenstion is expresse s perentge per egree ifferene etween the verge ontroller temperture n the verge reing of the proes ssigne to the inlet. It etermines y how muh the inlet must open or lose to help reue the temperture ifferenes in the uiling. For eh egree ove or elow the verge temperture, the inlet will open or lose using the ompenstion vlue ssigne y the user. For exmple, if the ompenstion vlue is set to 2%/ F n the inlet s proes re 3 F ove the verge ontroller temperture, the inlet will open 6% further to help erese the temperture in tht zone. Refer to setion to ssign the inlets temperture proes. If temperture ompenstion hs to e pplie on the position of the ir inlets, the ontroller only sens ompenstion request of 1% t time.
