2 Gulf Shores Invitational Girls Softball April 21-23, 2017 Host: City of Gulf Shores Participating Teams: Elberta Orange Beach Foley Robertsdale Gulf Shores Entry Fee: Check Payable: $90.00 per team City of Gulf Shores 1) All rules will be governed by USSSA. In addition, local rules will also be included. 2) Tournament will consist of 2 games of pool play on Friday and/or Saturday. Sunday will be a single-elimination seeded tournament. In the event of rain, we will attempt to reschedule. 3) Sunday Seeded Brackets will be sent via after 8 PM Saturday. 4) Tournament bracket seeding will be determined by: (1) Wins (2) Head-to-Head (3) Runs Allowed (4) Runs Scored (5) Coin Toss 5) Each team should arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time. New game will start 10 minutes upon completion of prior game. There will be no infield practice prior to game on field. 6) After completion of each game, report scores to tournament tent. 7) One umpire will be used for 8U. Two umpires will be used on all other fields. 8) Trophies will be awarded to each individual on the Championship team; medals for for Runner-up. 9) Any rule questions will be reviewed by the GS Invitational Board. ** Questions?
