We provide you a easy way to work, school, shopping, medical and recreational destinations. This guide is to provide you with everything you need to know to ride the bus however, if you have any questions please contact our office. 00 S. 2 c LOCTO" '\.. Where to Catch the Bus: The locations of each stop are shown on the map and described on the schedule. If you are unsure of location or a stop, call us for information. Use the Map and Schedules to Plan Your Bus Trip: Look at the map to decide which route and direction you wish to travel. Go to the schedule and find your stop number and times of pick up. The Transfer station is at The Citrus County Transit Office or Wai Mart Inverness. Deviations: Several stops are shown on the schedule as a deviation, you must call Citrus County Transit at --0 at least one (I) hour prior to pick-up time to schedule a deviation. Please let the driver know where your destination will be when you board the bus. Customer Service: Call us at --0 if you need additional information or would like to comment on our service. We value your feedback. Paying your Fares: You must pay the full fare each time you board the bus. You can pay your fare in cash or by ticket. You must have exact change, drivers cannot make change. Bus Fares: Cash Fares $.00 per trip $.00 unlimited per day Children under Free Monthly Ticket $.00 What else do I need to know:. You must pay the fare or show a ticket each time you board the bus.. Please have exact change. Let driver know where you want to get off at least stops ahead of time. Service for Persons with Disabilities: Citrus County Transit buses are wheelchair accessible. If you live within a quarter mile of a bus stop, and are unable to get to a stop, contact our office and you may be picked up at their home with hours notice. 3 RULES Smoking is prohibited on all vehicles. If such an occurrence happens, a hearing with the Disciplinary Committee may be scheduled. Exact fare must be paid when boarding. Drivers do not make change. Eating and drinking are prohibited in all Citrus County Transit vehicles. o littering in the vehicles o radios, cassette tape or CD players, or sound-generating equipment are to be played aloud aboard the vehicle. Riders must use earphones or headphones when using these types of devices. ll passengers are advised to wear seatbelts O distracting the driver while Citrus County Transit bus is in motion. Violent, disruptive or illegal behavior will not be tolerated. The passengers who are physically or verbally abusive to drivers or other passengers, or are otherwise disruptive, will be subject to disciplinary actions which may lead to suspension of service. If necessary, Citrus County Transit staff will contact the appropriate law enforcement authorities to have a disruptive individual removed from the vehicle. Service nimals may ride at no additional charge, but must be properly controlled. Passengers are required to wear shirt and shoes. lternative Service with Citrus County Transit, the Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC) You may be eligible for transportation through the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged program, administered through Citrus County Transit. Individuals who are unable to provide for their own transportation due to age, disability or income, may be eligible for Transportation Disadvantaged service.
