2 ARCHERY EXPERIENCE A great and noble sport for all ages and ability levels. You will spend some time being taught the basics within the grounds in view of the Castle. Once you have mastered the bow and arrow an element of challenge is introduced let the games begin! Minimum age 8 years old. Maximum guests per session 24 people Duration 1 to 2 hours WALKING ON WATER Have you ever wondered how it feels to Walk on Water? Climb inside a 7 ft. giant inflatable sphere and once sealed in off you go (at least you can try!). Moving backwards and forwards, side to side and most probably, upside-down, you ll have great fun trying something you ve probably never done before. This is great fun for adults and children alike, and hilarious entertainment for any spectators. Minimum age 5 years old Maximum number of guests per session 20 people Duration - 1to 2 hours

3 CANOEING With a truly majestic loch on the doorstep, your stay at Aldourie Castle Estate is an ideal opportunity to share a paddling adventure with family, friends or colleagues. Our expert canoe guides will take you on a journey in our very stable 2 man open canoes, sharing with you some spectacular views, wonderful stories and fascinating facts about this mysterious loch. Minimum age 4 years old, non-swimmers welcome Maximum number of guests per session 30 people (3 groups of 10) Duration - 1 to 2 hours GUIDED MOUNTAIN BIKING On a bike you can cover more ground than on foot but still at a pace slow enough to appreciate the wildlife and spectacular scenery. Allow our expert bike guides to take you to some of our favourite spots. The 500 acres of the Aldourie Castle Estate provides ideal mountain biking trails scenic and pleasurable for all abilities, with a mix of flat tracks along with downhill single track sections for the more adventurous. 4 Highland Games Experience Assisted by our international Highland Games competitors, we will set up and run a genuine Highland Games for you on the lawn in front of the Castle. The events can include putting the shot, throwing the hammer, highland dancing, tug of war, chucking the wellie, haggis hurling, playing the bagpipes and, of course, tossing the caber. There are different sizes of equipment so that everyone can have a go. Minimum age 10 years old Maximum number of guests per session 100 people Duration 2 hours GUIDED WALKS From a one-hour brisk exercise walk before breakfast to a full day exploring the forests and mountains around Loch Ness. Aldourie Estate grounds contain a host of interesting features that we would love to share with you - from roe deer, red kites and osprey to lovely woodland trails, a mysterious stone circle and stunning views down the length of Loch Ness. Further afield, South Loch Ness, Glen Affric and the Cairngorms National Park all host world-class walking experiences. 5 Segway Tours Segway personal transporters use space-age gyroscopic sensors combined with all-terrain tyres to ensure that you stay upright while exploring some awesome Highland scenery off-road. Segways produce zero emissions, virtually no noise and it is impossible to describe the rush of driving one. Stand on the footplate, hold on and lean in whatever direction you want to go, using the handle to turn. A weird sensation to start with, the revolutionary lean-steer technology soon becomes instinctive and within minutes you will be zipping along trails at up to 12mph and having great fun. Kids/Family Day of Adventure Rock Climbing, Abseiling and Weaselling. 10,000 years ago when the glaciers were retreating towards the end of the last ice age, a rocky cliff collapsed on the shores of Loch Duntelchaig, leaving us today with a wonderful natural rocky playground just five miles from Aldourie Estate. What on earth is Weaselling? A cross between caving and scrambling where we squeeze through tunnels and cracks between house-sized boulders, but do pop out into daylight every 10 metres or so. Bring a picnic lunch and join us for this triple activity treat three fun activities in one location in a day. Minimum age 6 years old If all participants are over 10 yrs old then there is no need for an accompanying adult.(all instructors have had police checks carried out to ensure their suitability to work unaccompanied with young children and vulnerable adults). 6 Clay Shooting We can now offer the very best Simulated Game Shooting all year round; be it driven pheasant, partridge or grouse. You could have birds Flushing, rising duck or even some wily pigeons if that is your choice. Each drive will involve a considerable number of targets put over the guns from continually variable traps, the frequency can be increased or decreased from flush to flush depending on your own wishes. Minimum age 10 years old Number of people in the group at one time 12 people FALCONRY An exciting combination of flying demonstrations along with handling different species. Includes, eagles, owls, hawks and falcons! The demonstrations can be tailor-made depending on the programme of other activities. This activity can take place from the Castle Terrace. No minimum age

7 Speedboat Tour of Loch Ness The RIBs offer a unique, fast and exhilarating way to see Loch Ness. Their compact size and versatility make them perfect for getting in close to inaccessible banks of the loch, providing fantastic views of sites like the world famous Urquhart Castle. Tours are typically 1.5 hours in duration. The collection and drop off point for the parties is from the Private Jetty on the Estate, this is approximately a ten minute walk from the Castle. No minimum age Maximum number of people on one boat 12 people Fishing on Loch Ness Enjoy the tranquillity of the shores of Loch Ness, and try to net yourself a salmon or brown trout of the most famous Loch in the world. An experienced Ghillie will be on hand to guide you through the techniques and which flies to use. We can also arrange for some superb Salmon and Trout Fishing on the nearby River Ness for five rods. No minimum age

8 Hair, Body and Beauty Treatments Treatments available include; Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage (client remains fully clothed), Hot Stone Massage, Seated Massage (client remains fully clothed), Manicure, and Pedicure. Treatments last between 25minutes to 45 minutes depending on the type of treatment The Hairdresser is also available for styling, blow drys, etc. Should anyone require a colour, this can be arranged prior to arrival We would advise that a treatment appointment schedule is devised for the Saturday so that the guests who would like the above are accommodated. Boat Trip on Loch Ness Embark from the Aldourie Castle Estate Jetty to view Urquhart Castle and the Great Glen from the best vantage point - the loch! Your Skipper on board Deepscan is John Minshull, who was the Skipper of the first hydrographic survey since Sir John Murray in 1903 and more recently skipper and engineer with the Loch Ness Project during the 2002 successful search to find John Cobb s wrecked Crusader, (the disasterous water-speed record attempt in 1952). A trio of excellent musicians will guide you through the dances whether this is your first Ceilidh or you are a seasoned dancer. Your guests will have so much fun and whilst they might not remember the dances they will leave with a memory of a lifetime. Whisky Tasting All tastings can be tailored to suit your party Catherine Gray will entertain and educate you, taking you on a journey discovering the roller coaster history of Whisky and the many different tastes of Whisky s from all over Scotland. You will learn how to nose and taste the Whisky s, whilst learning about the origin of the world s most historic drink. Would highly recommend to the party

10 Fireworks on Loch Ness Fireworks add magic to any event. We have provided displays for a range of clients working to a range of budgets. We work with you to provide the best possible display and leave your guests with the best possible impression of your event. Fireworks can also be launched from the loch or customised to show the name of the party or perhaps a special guest. Scottish HISTORY & CULTURAL Tours The Scottish Highlands and Inverness in particular has a long history, having evolved from an ancient fort to the Capital of the Highlands. The area provides an interesting mix of places to see and visit from Urquhart Castle, to Battlefields of Culloden, which was the site of the last battle fought on British soil to Cawdor Castle, where legend has it that, in 1040, Macbeth, of Shakespeare fame, built his stronghold in Inverness. Fort George, Urquhart Castle, Glen Affric, Isle of Skye and beyond are all within easy reach of Aldourie Castle.

11 GOLF Scotland s golf courses have forged a fine reputation as the finest and the most famous links golf courses in the world. Indeed, it was on Scottish links land that the game was first played over 600 years ago and, centuries later, it remains a rewarding, exhilarating and unforgettable way to enjoy a round of golf. The nearest course to Aldourie Castle, is Castle Stuart, a links course built to Championship standard and host to the 2011 and 2012 Scottish Open. Others course in the area include, Royal Dornoch, Nairn, Spey Valley and Brora. Moray Firth Dolphins The Moray Firth is one of the most important places on the U.K. coast for observing dolphins and whales. The coastline has recently been voted one of the most picturesque by National Geographic. The most common species are the Bottlenose Dolphin and the Harbour Porpoise. With occasional sightings of Common dolphin and Minke Whale. Tours depart from Inverness
