Payments are made online at the USA Synchro.org website. Any swimmer who is listed as a reserve (alternate) for a routine and who is not swimming any other routine event shall pay the entry fee. (Rulebook, Appendix C) Foreign Federations do NOT pay this fee. Sponsor Fee $25 per competitor. Payments are made online at the USA Synchro.org website. Foreign Federations must send a check for the required sponsor fees to Jennifer Hawkins at USA Synchro. Credentials Each club will receive coach and chaperone credentials per the chart below. Chaperone credentials do not allow deck access. Additional credentials can be purchased for $30 each. Payments are made online at the USA Synchro.org website. Maximum # of free credentials # of athletes Coaches Chaperones TICKETS Tickets are $10 per day or $35 for an event pass. Tickets can be purchased at the Nassau County Aquatic Center. GENERAL ENTRIES (US/ Foreign) 1. Junior Open competitors shall be years of age. Senior Open competitors shall be 15 or older. 3. An individual competitor may only enter three different events in the combined Junior and Senior Open Championship. Therefore, Junior athletes may not swim in the same event in both Junior and Senior categories of competition. An individual competitor may, in addition, be entered in only one Free Combination routine. 4. Free Combination: There shall be one Free Combination event in the combined U.S. Junior/ Senior Open Championship. Juniors and Seniors may be combined to compete in the Free Combination event. Competitors who are 13 and 14 years of age may participate in the Free Combination event. Free Combination routines must have 8 10 competitors. A U.S. Club, Foreign Club or National Team may enter more than one routine in the Free Combination event. 5. Foreign Federations may have multiple club entries, including their National Teams, in each category: Junior, Senior and Free Combination. 6. The total number of competitors per Foreign Federation, Foreign Club or National Team may not exceed 1 7. The top 12 in each event will move to finals. The 13 th place routine in each event will serve as the preswimmer for the event. 8. All team routines will have a.25 deduction for each competitor fewer than 8 on a team. 9. The FINA draw will be used for all events. ADDITIONAL JUNIOR OPEN INFORMATION 1. In the Junior Open, each Foreign Club or National Team may enter three Solos, three Duets and/ or one Team. Note that only one solo or duet from each Foreign Club or National Team shall advance to finals. In the Junior Open, U.S. Clubs may have registered competitors from 2 or more U.S. clubs in the Free Combination event. ADDITIONAL SENIOR OPEN INFORMATION 1. In the Senior Open, each Foreign Club or National Team may enter two solos, two duets and/ or one team. Senior entries must enter both technical and free competition. All Senior routines advance from the technical and free preliminary events to free finals. 3. In the Senior Open, U.S. Clubs may have registered competitors from 2 or more U.S. clubs in the Team and Free Combination events.

COACHES and OFFICIALS MEETING Wednesday, May 27 in the pool hospitality room, Nassau County Aquatic Center (See final schedule for time) COACHES CERTIFICATION AND SAFESPORT All U.S. coaches attending the US Open Championship must have current CCP Level 2, First Aid/CPR and must be SafeSport trained by March 10, Registered coaches will be verified and those holding the required certifications will be granted credentials. Those wishing to take the National judge s tests should notify Shannon. Testing time will be during team practice with music on Wednesday May 27. Judges uniform shall be white shirts and white pants. FINA and UANA judges will be seated with U.S. judges on the event panels. A FINA Evaluator, Ulla Lucenius, will attend the US Open. NOTE: Foreign Federations entering may submit up to two officials from the FINA and/or UANA List(s) of synchronized swimming officials for the U.S. Junior Open and the U.S. Senior Open Championships. FINA and/or UANA judges from Foreign Federations not entered in the competition may attend to practice judge.

Any photographs, videotape or other audio and/or visual recordings of the event created by a spectator may be used solely for such spectator's personal non-commercial use, and may not be broadcast, published or disseminated, or used for any commercial purposes, without the prior written consent of U.S. Synchronized Swimming. GALA PROGRAM VENUE RULES POOL RENTAL USA Synchro will be hosting a Gala event on Saturday evening, May 30 for all athletes to participate in and showcase their routines to the public and celebrate the conclusion of the championships. The gala will feature the medal recipients from each category. Please plan to stay until Sunday in order to participate in the gala! The gala will begin following the end of the competition on Saturday. The order of when each routine will perform will be released shortly. If you are one of the medal recipients, you may swim your competition routine. The gala will be approximately 45 minutes. More information will be released as we get closer. Available for sale at the meet for $5 each. For final events, tickets or credentials are required for admittance to the venue. No smoking in the facility. No food or beverages (except water) are permitted on pool deck or locker rooms. No glass containers on the deck or in locker rooms. Use of the pool equipment is not permitted. No sitting or hanging on lane lines. All athletes, coaches and officials will abide by the facility rules and USA Synchro Code of Conduct. Gelling is permitted in designated area only. De-gelling is not allowed in the facility ($100 fine if anyone de-gells in the facility). All equipment bags must remain in designated areas to maintain a clean deck. Official team banners will be hung by meet management (please turn in at registration) No electrical appliances are permitted. Lane rentals for U.S. Open competitors will be offered on the following days and times: Saturday, May 23 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Sunday, May 24 11:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday, May 25 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Tuesday, May 26 6:00 am - 9:00 am and 11:00 am - 5:00 pm Lane rentals are available at the rate of $25 per hour/ per lane.
