Coaches Eligibility: Any person coaching on deck must hold (at least) a Level 1 CCP and any current safety certifications.

Rather, mail checks to the meet manager. COMBO JUNIOR/SENIOR: Competitors who are 13 and 14 years of age may participate in the Senior/Junior Free Combination event. Events: Age Group Figures, Solo, Duet, Team and Free Combination Routine. Junior Figures, Solo, Duet Team

4 Senior Solo, Duet, Team Free and Solo, Duet, Team Technical Routines Junior/Senior Free Combination Routine Figures: All and Junior Athletes shall compete in Figures. All competitors who are only entered in Junior/Senior Combo are not required to compete in Junior Figures and Junior Compulsory. The remaining two figures will be drawn from selection groups hours prior to the meet. An will be sent through the NESSA Google Group to all clubs at the same time. All Senior Athletes must compete in both Technical and Free Routines. Each Free Routine must have a corresponding Technical Routine Routines: All Junior and Senior FREE routines in each event will have a mixed draw. (e.g. Solos competing in Junior, Senior or both Junior/Senior will swim in one Solo competition.) All Free routines will compete in a separate draw. Result will be sorted by category and Association for final placement. (See Awards below) Multiple Entries: Athletes may enter the same routine in multiple categories. However please note that Routine competition will be held separately from Junior and Senior. Example: a 15 year old soloist may enter 13-15, Junior and Senior Solo competition. In this case she must compete in both and Junior Figures and Technical Solo. She will also swim her Free Solo twice, in the and Junior/Senior competition. Please note that routine time limits and different from Junior and Senior Routines.

5 PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING TIME LIMITS FOR ROUTINES Awards: Will be given in Age Group, Junior and Senior categories and North and South Associations. NESSA ribbons for 1 st through 8 th place in Figures, Solo, Duet, Team and Combo. DIGITAL MUSIC SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Deadline: Monday, January 22, 2017 Submit to: ywcasynchromaids@gmail.com Please, bring CDs as a backup. 1. Digital music files (ACC, MP3) are to be submitted for routines for this competition. 2. Files received before the deadline will be transferred from s to a computer, and then imported to itunes or a compatible program and each file tested to ensure it plays. You will not be contacted if your music is submitted on time and if the music is correct. You will only be contacted if your music is missing or will not play. 3. Playlists will be created for each separate routine competition to be played through the sound system.

6 4. We recommend submitting 160 Kbit/s AAC or higher quality audio for best sound results. 128 Kbit/s MP3s are NOT recommended, if sending MP3 files, please ensure they are at least 192 Kbit/sec. 5. A minimum one second leader (silence) before the music starts added to all files is recommended. 6. Contact Janine Kopeski if you have any questions. 7. A CD player will be provided as back up for play through the sound system. 8. Use the following naming conventions (see bolded below) when saving files. Routines names should be space separated. 12 & Under Duet OSU Smith 12 & Under = Age Group Duet = Routine event OSU = Club Abbreviation/ Three Letter Code ** Smith = Last name of the first alphabetical member of the routine Only athletes, volunteers, certified coaches are allowed on pool deck. Weather: If weather is unsafe to travel the potential for a delay in the start of the meet would be the first option. If weather is expected to be hazardous throughout the day the meet will be postponed. Snow date is set for February 4 th. The Club contact will be notified by and posting to the Google Group by 5 am.
