3 EVENT INFORMATION This is a grand prix event for British Para Table Tennis and is part of the BPTT Grand Prix series. For this competition ALL entrants must be members of BPTT. 1: Team Event Format: The team event will be played with the following format; Game 1: A v Y Game 2: B v X Game 3: Doubles Game 4: A v X Game 5: B V Y All the games within the match will be played to a conclusion. Each player will play two single games, and one doubles game per match. Teams will consist of a maximum of two players. There may be a round of matches where a lucky loser will progress, this will be determined by the team who wins the most games. If this is still the same, this will then be decided by a coin toss. There will be 4 rounds of matches during the day. There will be a limit to the number of entries per team event as follows; Standing Team Event: 24 athletes (12 teams) Wheelchair Team Event: 12 athletes (6 teams) Teams will be selected by the BPTT Competitions committee to ensure teams are of a similar standard. *** Please note, if there aren t enough entries by the closing date, then the original Grand Prix format will be used for this tournament *** 2. Equipment All tables and nets / posts will be ITTF approved. Butterfly White G40+ 40mm Plastic Balls will be used for ALL events. CLOSING DATE Entries should be received with payment by Sunday 20th January Entries accepted after that date will be at the discretion of the referee / organiser. Should the number of entries exceed the number of entries for a team event BPTT will revert to the usual Grand Prix format. The minimum age for entry is 10 years as at 31 st December Juniors must be under 18 on 31 st December 2018

4 BPTT GRAND PRIX SERIES The BPTT Grand Prix series is run by British Para Table Tennis. AWARDS Medals will be presented to the winners, runner-ups and third place of each event. ACCOMMODATION There are several hotels in the area. Websites such as may help. Holiday Inn and Premier Inn sometimes offer cheaper rooms if you book at least 21 days ahead. Please don t book your hotel until event is confirmed as running. ENTRY FEES The entry fee is per person (for camp and tournament). Entries will not be accepted without the correct payment. Cheques should be payable to BTTAD or Bank Transfer (See bottom of Form) VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY In line with Table Tennis England s policy, any person wishing to take photos at the event must register their details with staff on reception or the organiser. This includes the use of a mobile telephone with photographic or video facility. BPTT may take photographs/recording of you whilst at this event. These images may appear in publicity material or websites. We therefore require all entrants to complete the photography consent section of the entry form. The organisers will only use images of athletes to promote sport recreation or competition through publicity material, media, contacts or other appropriate means and will not include personal , postal addresses or telephone or fax numbers.
