3 1. General Tournament Conditions a. The Tournament Committee shall have the sole management of the tournament which shall be played under the laws and regulations of the ITTF, TTA and TTNSW. b. No claim will be recognised by Table Tennis NSW Inc should any player receive an injury during the playing of this tournament. c. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to cancel any event for any reason. In the event of insufficient entries for an event, players may be placed in another event at the discretion of the Tournament Committee and the Referee. d. Acts of bad sportsmanship will be dealt with under the rules of the game and may be referred to the Table Tennis NSW Inc Council for further action. e. In the case of doubles events, a player being unavailable on the day may be replaced subject to the approval of the Tournament Committee and the Referee. f. Persons attending the tournament are responsible for their personal effects. g. All entrants, coaches and officials should be aware of and comply with the TTNSW Sexual Harassment and Child Protection policies and the ASC's Anti Doping Policy. h. No gluing of rackets is permitted inside the playing venue. 2. Entries a. entries will be received subject to all details being provided as per the Front Page of this form and all monies paid prior to the commencement of play. By submitting your entry via e- mail you are consenting to the conditions of the tournament. b. Late Entries may be accepted subject to the discretion of the Organising Committee and the Referee. Late Entries that are accepted will attract a "Late Fee" as per the table below. When Received Late Fee Example Prior to Draw Publication 150% of Event Fee rounded up to the nearest $ Event Fee = $20. Late Fee = $10 for a total of $30. After Draw Publication 200% of the Event Fee Event Fee = $20. Late Fee = $20 for a total of $40. c. No refund of entry fees will be considered after the draw is published d. The Entry Form must be signed by the player indicating acceptance of the conditions. For players under the age of 18 (or as required by law) a Guardian must also sign the form to indicate acceptance of the conditions. 3. Player Responsibilities a. Players should report to the Tournament Control desk at least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of their first scheduled event to register arrival and pay any outstanding fees. b. Players failing to report to the Control Desk when called upon to play may be disqualified c. Players are required to UMPIRE at least 1 match for each event entered. Players MUST umpire at the direction of the Referee or Tournament Control. d. The WINNER of each match (knockout) MUST ensure the match card is correctly completed and returned to the control desk with the ball. Failure to do this may result in the next opponent being given a walk over.

4 e. The participants of a group MUST ensure that the match card(s) is / are correctly completed and returned to the control desk with the ball(s). Failure to do this may result in the group winner and / or runner-up not progressing to the next stage. f. It is the responsibility of the entrant to declare any illness or disability which ay require medical attention and ALL entrants compete at their own risk. 4. Eligibility: Registration Players must have a current registration for Age Based Events Juniors U/21 - Born 1 Jan 1995 or later U/15 - Born 1 Jan 2001 or later. U/11 - Born 1 Jan 2005 or later. U/18 - Born 1 Jan 1998 or later. U/13 - Born 1 Jan 2003 or later. U/10 - Born 1 Jan 2006 or later. Skill Based Events (Grades) Player's Rating Central Rating must be below the rating shown on the Entry form to enter the event. In the case of Doubles Events, at least one player must be below the rating for the lower grade. The rating will be as of the "Draw Date" which will be after the Entry Close Date. General Players may only play in one (1) event in each Timeslot Players may only play a maximum of two (2) Junior Events and two (2) Open or Graded Events. 5. System of Play Singles Qualifying All Singles Qualifying will be based on 4 players / group with 2 progressing to the Main Draw. All matches will be best of 5 Singles Main Draw Doubles advantage games. Men's and Women's Open Singles will be best of 7 advantage games and all other events will be the best of 5 advantage games. All events will be a knockout. All matches will be the best of 5 advantage games. The final format of any event will be at the discretion of the Tournament Committee and the Referee.
