1 CHRVA Scorer Certification Process Adult Provisional Scorer Certification Requirements Register as a member of CHRVA Pay $10 Admin Fee Take the Adult Provisional Certification Clinics Complete all required courses in USA Volleybal Academy Obtain two passing ratings at a Fellowhip event 1. You MUST be a current member of the Chesapeake Region Volleyball Association (CHRVA) a) Go to the CHRVA website ( NOTE: Some versions of Internet Explorer are not compatible with the website. Try Firefox or Safari b) select CHRVA MEMBER LOGIN to log in i. If you are new to the region then select Request A Login ii. If you were a CHRVA member last season, select Renew Membership iii. If you have already registered, you may log-in 2. Beginning with the season, if you were already certified as a Provisional Scorer from the prior season (certification shown as Current with an expiration date of October ) then you will automatically be registered for the training and fee. 3. Click on the link in the received to register to pay the fee. The will be from usav_admin@aigroup.com (check your junk folder if not initially found). The link will redirect you to WebPoint. Click register and complete the steps to pay the fee. 1

2 4. All clinics are now accessed via Webpoint. To log-in to USA Volleyball Academy once logged into WebPoint, click on either the USAV Academy button on the left or the Login to USAV Academy button in the middle, both on the Member Home screen (your webpoint user/password will be used automatically): a. Once logged in you will ONLY see the training you have registered for under Enrolled on the My Account page: b. Click on the green Go sign to reveal the description and learning activities for CH18_301 CHRVA Adult Provisional Scorer Training : c. To launch the course click on the Go icon in the Action column: d. When you have completed the course it will move to the Completed section of the My Account page showing the Date Completed : *****IMPORTANT***** You MUST pay the fee and complete the training no later than January 31, 2018!!! 5. You MUST Obtain two passing ratings at a sanctioned fellowship tournament i. Dates for fellowships are noted on the CHRVA website ( ii. Contact the tournament host to schedule your two ratings iii. Submit your completed evaluations to the tournament host 2

3 When you have completed ALL of the requirements (Steps 1 5) and we have processed your certification you WILL receive and notifying you that your WebPoint profile has been updated and provide you instruction for printing your membership card. If you were not certified for the season (certification shows as Cancelled or with expiration date prior to 2017), then follow the below steps: 6. Register as a current member of CHRVA as detailed in Step Register to pay the fee. You MUST pay the evaluation fee no later than January 31, 2018: a) Once logged in to the CHRVA website on the left hand toolbar under USA Volleyball Events-> Region Clinics select Region Ref/Score Clinics b) You will see a list of certifications under USA Volleyball Events. To pay the evaluation fee select Register to the right of the CH18_000 CHRVA Scorer and Referee Evaluation Fee and follow the steps to submit your name and payment information. NOTE: This fee covers both Scorer and Referee Certification. You only need to pay it ONCE. c) Complete Step 1: Verify that the information is accurate and click Submit d) Complete Step 2: Entering your payment information and click Register. A pop-up window should be displayed confirming your credit card will be charged; click OK. You will receive an confirmation. 3

You MUST register and complete the on-line training clinic no later than January 31, a) Register for the scorer clinics go to the left hand toolbar under USA Volleyball Events-> Region Clinics select Region Ref/Score Clinics b) Then under USA Volleyball Events select Register to the right of the CH18_301 CHRVA Adult Provisional Scorer Training c) Verify that the information is accurate on each screen d) Fill in the Individual information section to complete the registration and click Submit : e) Verify the information and click on Register : 4

5 f) You will see the Registration confirmation page once completed (an will also be sent) and the link providing you access to the on-line training will be at the bottom : g) All clinics are now accessed via Webpoint. 6 h) Once logged in you will ONLY see the training you have registered for under Enrolled on the My Account page : i) Click on the green Go sign to reveal the description and learning activities for CH18_301 CHRVA Adult Provisional Scorer Training j) To launch the course click on the Go icon in the Action column. k) For each section of the training you will be given the option to take a Pre-Quiz. If you pass the quiz you will advance to the next session of the training. If you do not pass the quiz then you will watch the materials for that section. l) When you have completed the course it will be moved to the Completed section of the My Account page showing the Date Completed : 9.
