4 It s Not Over Yet The 2017 NASL Spring Season was a historic one for Miami FC. The Orange and Blue captured its first trophy just one year after finishing in last place in the 2016 Spring Season. Miami s 7-0 title-clinching win over the San Francisco Deltas set a goals scored record for Miami and resulted in one of the most lopsided victories in NASL history. Evidenced by an incredible +22 goal differential, the Orange and Blue dominated its opponents on its way to its first hardware in franchise history. Forwards Vincenzo Rennella and Stéfano Pinho combined for 18 goals during the season, while plenty of other Miami players rank in the top 10 in several categories, including assists, shots, chances created and total passes. The second-year club will carry over a 10-point lead into the Fall Season, as it looks to finish atop the table again and secure its place as the best team in the league heading into the playoffs.
