1 Men s Club subscriptions for 2018/19 Good news, we are reducing the cost of subscriptions by 40 for seniors/senior goalkeeper and 20 for student/unemployed/juniors. Subs include all league games, club days and friendlies (but not cup, vets or mixed games). Moving to a monthly subs model helps everyone spread the cost and getting rid of match fees makes life much easier for players, captains and volunteer club officers. For the new open league season, every Sutton team has 22 league fixtures plus club days and friendlies, giving every player lots of playing opportunities. 2 Payment arrangements We will use the payment facility on our website to take payment. Please note that you will have to register with the SCHC website in order to pay for your subscription, although we will still accept cash or cheques for a one off payment up front but we are trying to reduce our administration hours and so we ask you to pay via the website. First log in to the SCHC homepage, then all 10 subscription categories will be available to select by clicking the Payments option in the navigation menu: If you are using a mobile browser, log in and then select payments from the Menu. Make sure you select the right subscription category, if you are unsure which applies to you, contact membership@suttoncoldfieldhc.co.uk : Once you have selected your subscription category, there are 3 payment options: Lump sum single payment for the total amount Total amount spread over 8 Total amount spread over 7 : Page 2 of 5

Otherwise payments will be over 7 (October-April) meaning players will need to register and purchase the correct subscription by 26 th September so that their direct debit start at the beginning of October. Players wishing to make a one-off lump sum payment up front will still be able to do so. Lump sum payments need to be made by the end of September. Next, you will be asked to select the member you wish to tag into the purchase: This is useful for parents so that they can tag in their children. The tagged member field will automatically display as yourself. If you are looking to pay on behalf of a different member, click 'Remove' in blue and search for your child using their name. 5 Once the payment is complete, you will be redirected back to the SCHC website with a message: You will also get a confirmation from GoCardless with details of your direct debit payment Driving Driving contributions have increased to 10 full (or 5 half). This will be recorded as a credit for driving to the relevant games, captains to be issued with a record sheet with the away games in their division that qualify. Record sheets to be submitted to membership secretary at the end of each half season for credits/refunds. Reminder, to qualify a car must take at least 3 players in both directions. Vets only members As the number of vets games is unpredictable for members who only play vets we have not included match fees in their subs. They can now pay their subs in instalments by Direct Debit via the website. Vets friendlies & cup matches retain a cash match fee of 10 Casual/occasional players Our priority is to select paying members, however if we have a player shortage we do sometimes get help from casual/occasional players. These can be selected to play up to 3 league games for a cash match fee, seniors 10 and juniors/students/unemployed 7. This is not an alternative membership model, if a player wants to play more games they must take out a membership subscription. Casual players are not available for selection after they ve played 3 games. Members studying away at university We want students studying away at university to feel they are still part of the club. They are welcome to play pre-season or when they are back for weekends or holidays. They will pay a cash match fee of 7. Injuries/ill health Players unable to play through genuine long-term injury or ill-health must speak to the Membership Secretary about their subscription. Playing bans No adjustment to subscriptions is available to players who cannot play as a result of a ban imposed by the League, county or club. Exceptional circumstances A very small number of players are unable to play every week for reasons genuinely beyond their control - for example those working in the emergency services. If this applies to you please speak to the Membership Secretary to discuss your individual circumstances. Joining part way through the season New members joining part way through the season will be charged pro rata based on the number of left in the season. Page 5 of 5
