29 FAQ s 1) How are the players on the games marked if they are ineligible? Answer They should either not be added to the roster, or scratched out if the Team uses pre-printed labels. 2) Will the system accept both Credit and Debit cards? Answer It will only accept Credit Cards. The League Office will accept post dated Cheques. Parents who wish to use post dated cheques should contact the GTHL Office to make arrangements. For assistance in this area please PRFcheques@GTHLCanada.com. If your credit card expires between payments we ask that you update your information when you receive your updated card. If you forget to do this you will be sent an reminder when you payment cannot be processed and you will have 48 hours to update your information. 3)When a player registers late (IE: November) is he allowed to play immediately or is there a grace period to clear the payment process? Answer The player will be ineligible until the player registration fee is paid 4) When a player registers late (IE: January) is the PRF prorated and if so what formula is used? Who determines the PRF and how is it communicated? Answer - It is prorated based on number of regular season games remaining. The HCR system will be overridden and a manual amount will be assigned as the PRF as determined by the GTHL. 29
30 FAQ s 5) How is a player informed that his playing privileges have been removed? Is the Club and Team informed as well? Answer - The League Office will assume this responsibility and notify the parent directly but will also inform the Club. 6 )How do we monitor the players games if his playing privileges have been removed? Answer The League Office will assume this responsibility. If a player participates while he/she is not eligible, then the League Rules governing participation of an ineligible player will be imposed. If players are determined to have taken a discount they are not eligible for, that player will become ineligible immediately until the full amount is paid. 8) Team officials will no longer have ID cards. How will the referees know if they are legitimate team staff? Answer The current passes given to Team Officials are only for arena entrance.
