1 A Managers Guide of How To Complete a Match Result Sheet The match cards/sheets are simple and self explanatory to complete, yet it still amazes the League how many managers fail to complete the cards properly and thus collect unnecessary fines. It is hoped this guide will reduce the number of fines issued for not completing a match result sheet correctly. Registrars will receive in the region of 70 sheets each week to process, so any information missing causes unnecessary delays and frustrations. Registrars do not have time to chase up managers for the missing details, therefore fines are imposed. If managers fail to keep on top of the paperwork other teams are inconvenienced and registrars cannot keep the League tables up to date Contents of this Guide Page 2 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 Page 5 Page 7 Page 8 When does the match result sheet have to be with the age group registrar General Notes match result sheet - What needs to be completed (an 11-a-side match sheet is used but applies to U9-U10 as well, the form is laid out slightly different) Fines imposed for missing items on a 11-a-side match result sheet List of All League Fines and penalty points Club Discipline Procedure Age Group Registrars & District Junior Sunday League - 1 -

The numbers of red and yellow cards need to put down, if no cards are shown put down 0 YOU must sign the match card, after the game, to verify all details You must submit your League copy and the copy given to you by your opponents (opponents copy) to the age group registrars within the time frame set out above. Under 9 to Under 16s: All the details on the card must be completed in full. Under 9s to Under 10s: if playing in a two teams = one result division (i.e the normal format) a match result for each game needs to be submitted to your registrar along with copies of your opponents sheet for both games. Under 7 to under 8s: The following must be completed: Date, Age-group, Division, Home and Away teams, sporting points for players, sporting points for managers & supporters, the referees name and number and red & yellow cards. Teams should have in place a method to stop spectators standing on the touchline. It is recommended that clubs use the FA respect barriers but cones, an additional white line or rope, provided it is safe, are more than adequate. If you have any questions, in the first instance contact your Club Secretary who will be able to help you. If the match is postponed, you do not need to complete a match result sheet. If your match is postponed due to the weather or cup commitments then you need to do the following: Let your age group registrar know by phone or . Send an to results@junleague.com to say the game was postponed (if called off due to the weather otherwise the result team will think the result is reported late). The game must be rearranged and the new date submitted to your age group registrar in writing or by , by both Clubs, within fourteen days of the postponement of the fixture date. Any Club failing to comply with this Rule shall be liable to a minimum fine of and League discipline points added. & District Junior Sunday League - 2 -

7 Club Discipline Procedure Why? The League is concerned at some clubs who continually breach League rules, and rather then simply increase the fines which would have an affect on all clubs, want to tackle clubs who continually breach league rules and see this as a fair and logical method of doing that. How it works For each break of League rules, including under 7 and under 8s, the club will receive League discipline penalty points. During the season, each club will receive a League discipline statement, every time the club/team obtains League discipline points. All League disciplinary points will be re-set at the beginning of the following season. Note, each club will still be penalised every time they break the competition rules, as well as receiving league discipline points. Misconduct dealt with by the Football Association or County Football Association will not be included in the League penalty point s total. The number of points allowed for each stage (the threshold), is related to the number of teams that each club possesses. Club Charges No. of teams Each additional team Stage points per team Stage points per team Stage points per team Team Charges Stage 1: 25 points Stage 2: 50 points Stage 3: 75 points On reaching each stage a discipline charge for continuous misconduct will be issued against the Club under Standard Code of Rule 5(H). When each stage is reached the League could either impose a financial penalty or request a written explanation as to how the club/team intend to deal with the continuous misconduct. & District Junior Sunday League - 7 -
