4 6 7 ABOUT THE KL CUP Providing competitive international football in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since 2016 ORIGINS Started in 2016, the Kuala Lumpur Cup (KL Cup for short) is an international youth football tournament held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Targetted at competitive junior teams from across the region, the cup aims to improve the opportunities for high quality inter-club football in Southeast Asia. KL CUP 2017 Open to teams in five age-groups (Under-8, 10, 12, 14, 16), the KL Cup will take place at The New Camp, Bandar Utama a fantastic football facility just 20 minutes from the centre of Kuala Lumpur. Organised by Little League Soccer Malaysia, the tournament promises two days of exciting football action at one of the region s leading football centres.

5 8 9 THE ORGANISER Coaching 4 to 16 year olds in Southeast Asia since 1999 LITTLE LEAGUE SOCCER Malaysia s leading football coaching school, Little League Soccer has been teaching in Southeast Asia since Offering coaching to kids from the age of four to 16, the club is based out of the The New Camp in Bandar Utama and the KLFA Football Centre in Desa Melawati. TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS As well as the annual Kuala Lumpur Cup, Little League Soccer organises the Klang Valley s biggest private youth football league, the AirAsia KL Junior League. Started in 2015, the league hosts biweekly matches for 60 teams across five age-groups from Under-8 to Under-16. FC KUALA LUMPUR Little League Soccer s elite players play under the competitive banner of FC Kuala Lumpur. Started in 2009 as FC Mont Kiara, FCKL moved to the KLFA Football Centre in 2012 before expanding to its current home at The New Camp, Bandar Utama in 2016.

6 10 11 THE VENUE Top quality floodlit all-weather pitches at The New Camp, Bandar Utama THE NEW CAMP Located opposite the British International School of Kuala Lumpur in the residential suburb of Bandar Utama, The New Camp plays host to two full-size astroturf pitches with floodlights. Ample space for spectators plus an on-site cafe and changing rooms makes it the ideal choice for tournaments, training camps, matches and more. B A C D E F PITCH LAYOUTS The two full size pitches at The New Camp will be divided into six 7-a-side pitches for the Kuala Lumpur Cup. Under- 8s, 10s and 12s will play within a quarter of the pitch, while Under-14s and 16s will play across a half pitch.

PROPOSED RULES AND GUIDELINES The 2018 KL Cup will follow the same format as the 2017 tournament. GROUP A 16 Teams per age-group 4 Groups of 4 teams 2 Qualify for Cup, 2 for Plate CONFIRMED COMPETITION All teams in the 2018 KL Cup are guaranteed six matches. Teams will play three group games on Day 1 before a further three games in either the Cup or Plate knockout competition on Day 2. GROUP C GROUP B GROUP D CUP COMPETITION PLATE COMPETITION 6 Matches guaranteed for all teams 7 Players per team with max 12 registered 24 Minute matches (2x12 mins)
