It s a week that embraces all that overnight camp offers, along with exceptional baton twirling training. We can t wait to welcome baton twirlers of all skill level from across Canada and the United States to this unique learning experience. The day will offer classes from all organizations, taught by some of the creative best! Between classes students will be able to choose from a variety of things to do. Whether it s crafting, canoeing, dancing, yoga by the lake or practicing the variety show for the finale night, all fun activities will create wonderful memories. Training with our very accomplished staff will be motivating for all twirlers. Our goal will be to make sure everyone goes home accomplishing what they came to do. Living the wonderful Muskoka experience. it s certain to be a week to remember! She will greet everyone at registration, coordinate all non-baton activities with the YMCA staff throughout the day, and be responsible for our nighttime entertainment throughout the week. Jen will be everybody s mom away from home! An elementary teacher, plus a great Baton coach, this job suits Jen well! Jackie is the current World Baton Twirling Federation Judges Representative and is a comprehensive veteran of our sport. Her experience is multifaceted which makes her uniquely qualified to assist students in all aspects of the sport. Jackie Stewart is the real deal! Coach of many champions, her enthusiasm for the sport begins with the recreational athlete and continues straight through to the elite level. Jackie s coaching, judging and leadership record speaks for itself. Her determination to motivate each athlete to learn, and be their best at all skill levels, is what gets results. Jackie s knowledge and vision of the sport of baton twirling makes her a mentor to all who cross her path. Sheri Carter is simply a pleasure to work with. Her experience as an educator, and positive approach to training, adds real value to the Baton Muskoka twirling experience. Sheri coaches her high schools competitive Tennis team and has been the judge chosen to represent the United States at the WBTF World Baton Championship year after year. Coaching and Evaluating is something that Sheri does every day. These skills and experience coupled with her own accomplished baton career, make Sheri a wonderful addition to the Baton Muskoka Coaching Staff. Sheri s particular interest is multiple batons. Owner of Harmony, a baton and dance studio, Amy Genton brings her love of dance and baton to Baton Muskoka. Amy s interest in blending baton and dance makes her an excellent coach for our musical events.

Michael Harris loves to coach, and Baton Muskoka loves to have him. His fresh approach to creative learning makes Michael s classes a favorite. Being a world athlete, representing U.S.A., Michael s past experience as an athlete serves him well coaching all events. Michael s passion for the sport of baton serves as a strong motivating force during the program. He approaches learning as a privilege which creates an excitement to his classes. Michael is a pleasure to learn from and a delight to have on staff. It s a pleasure to learn from this Baton and Dance Studio owner, multiple Grand National Champion and Canadian World team member. Jenna brings all her talents and enthusiasm for teaching to camp. An extraordinary young woman, she will be such a pleasure for the camp athletes as they will all enjoy her creative teaching! Karrissa has competed in both USTA/WBTF and NBTA from a young age. She was fortunate enough to represent the USA in both organizations. She also holds World and National titles including Solo, Freestyle, Two Baton, Three Baton, Strut, Pairs, Duet, and Artistic Twirl. She gained a ton of experience in the Miss Majorette event competing over the years, earning Teenage Miss Majorette of America and College Miss Majorette of America towards the end of her NBTA Twirling career. Lani is a graduate of the dance program from Columbia University. Her creative mind embraces all genres, with her specialty being Hip Hop.
