From: Terrigal Rugby Club <John=stevensgroup.com.au@mail193.atl61.mcsv.net> On Behalf Of Terrigal Rugby Club Sent: Friday, 13 April 2018 3:08 PM To: John Stevens <john@stevensgroup.com.au> Subject: Terrigal Rugby Club - Home Game this weekend at The Haven Facebook Website TABLE OF CONTENTS Trojans vs The Rams at the Haven Last weekend against Kariong First Grade Debutantes Boat Race After Match Function TROJANS VS RAMS AT THE HAVEN This weekend our Third Grade team takes centre stage with a home game against The Rams at the Haven. The Third Grade match will start at 12.30 pm with the Colts commencing at 11.20 am. There will be no Second and First Grade games against The Rams this weekend. The Rams are one of the foundation Clubs on the Coast and have a proud history in rugby. They also have an exceptionally strong Third Grade side, so the match with the Trojans this weekend will be a beauty. The Trojans have produced huge numbers at training so our Third Grade side this weekend will be very strong with a number of excellent Trojans taking part in the game. We will be running a bar at the match and afterwards there will be celebrations, food and a boat race in the Clubhouse. The Colts are playing their first match this weekend against Ourimbah. Our Colts will be supported by our U17s Trojans side, so let s get along early and see the future of the Terrigal Club play rugby at 11.20 am.

Trojans out in Force See at the Rugby! John Stevens President Around the Grounds Sponsors & Life Members Day - Saturday 5 May Accommodation needed! Thank you Trojan Pride Alert LAST WEEKEND AGAINST KARIONG Terrigal Trojans had a strong start to the year with wins against Kariong in both First Grade 30-17 and Second Grade 64-7. Kariong did not go down without a fight and challenged the First Grade team strongly right through the second half until a late try by the Trojans saw them secure the match, five tries to two. Terrigal had eight new debutantes play the match with their jumpers presented to them before the game by our Foundation Member, Al Davis. It was a solid and pleasing performance by the Trojans to start the year and one we will build on throughout the season. Player points went to Taka - 3, AB - 2 and Vaughan Kernan - 1. Final score 30-17. U15s Fiji Golf Day Womens Rugby - Training Bula Bin donations Karaoke Championship Captain, AB leads on our Firsts

Congratulations - Cathy Slater Parsons Outdoor Equipment Outdoor Elegance - Erina Trojan Victory Song FIRST GRADE DEBUTANTES There were eight new players debuting in First Grade for the Trojans last weekend. All players represented our Club proudly and were the foundation of our First Grade win. Congratulations to Vaughan Kernan who scored a try and received one best player point for his game on the weekend.

L to R back row: Salipopo Pamata, Nick Martschenko, Francis Brown, Vaughan Kernan, Brent Merritt L to R Front row: Quin Thomas, Setareki Wainiqolo, Marc Koteczky BOAT RACE Last weekend saw an emphatic victory for the Trojans as we commenced our boat racing events for the season proper. This time we took forward our strongest team with Frankie, Ethan and Tim Date representing the Trojans. Referee, Murray Fraser, used his best skills refereeing the boat race, to come up with a tight victory for the Trojans. Well done guys! Great rugby.

AFTER MATCH FUNCTION Referee, David Hall, came back to the after match function and enjoyed a few beers with both Clubs after the game. The after match function is what rugby is all about. Good on you, Dave. TROJANS OUT IN FORCE Last weekend, the Trojans were in numbers back at the Breakers Country Club after the match. Our coach, Chester Scott and two Senior Vice Presidents, Bob Platt and Tim Larke aka Dr Evil, Mini-me and Mini-Mini Me were at the forefront enjoying the night. It was really good to see so many Trojans show up to enjoy a beer at the Breakers.

Dr Evil, Mini Me and Mini-Mini Me. AROUND THE GROUNDS Warnervale, Ourimbah and The Lakes all posted strong wins last weekend, Avoca had the bye. So expect a number of challenges for the Trojans from these improved sides this season. The Lakes have won three 7s Tournaments in the preseason and are strongly boosted in their players across all grades. Expect some shock results throughout the season. Here are the results from the first week of the 2018 season.

PARSONS OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT, ERINA Parsons Outdoor Equipment led by Craig Parsons provide quality machinery, service and Weber BBQs amongst a myriad of great ideas at the best prices from their Erina store. Craig is a great sponsor of the Terrigal Rugby Club having provided Weber BBQs at our various fund

raising events. If you want quality and service go and see Craig and his team. OUTDOOR ELEGANCE ERINA With so many possible weather conditions affecting the Central Coast region of Australia, those who reside here know they must be ready for anything. This is also true when selecting the ideal outdoor furniture for a patio, deck, garden area, or balcony. Fortunately, Outdoor Elegance provides durable outdoor furniture pieces that can weather rain and hail as well as they can handle harsh exposure to heat and unrelenting UV rays. Get down to the Erina store this weekend!
