ISBA National Sable Specialty Show Tim Flickinger-Show Chairman 208A South Spring Street Wakarusa, IN 574-862-4378 Email sablegoats@aol.com Dear Sable Breeders & Enthusiast, Enclosed you will find your entry packet for the 2008 National Sable specialty show to be held May 10, 2008 in Columbia City, IN at the Whitley County Fairgrounds. ISBA along with MGBA(Michiana Goat Breeders Association) will be hosting the event. This is an ADGA & AGS sanctioned specialty show, so it is an individual separately held show for Sables to earn respective legs. Basically, a second ring will be added to the annual MGBA club show for the sanctioned specialty show. The national specialty show will be sanctioned for Sr. Does, Jr. Does, and Bucks. Also in this packet you find entry info for the MGBA club show. This is a great opportunity to show your Sables twice in one day to showcase the breed. Along with your Sables please bring them & enter them into the MGBA club show. Make your trip worth your time & effort! As an incentive there will be no additional pen fees for the specialty show if you enter your Sables and/or other breeds into the MGBA club show. The pre-entry deadline for the National Specialty show will be May 1, 2008 and you will find entry fees along with quantity & ISBA certificate bearing animal discounts. Since Sables are on exhibition status at ADGA Nationals for two more years and aren t in large enough numbers for each district to have a specialty like some breed clubs. This show is created to showcase the breed in a National spotlight and a chance to earn championship legs. All this without the long stay & time away from home! Please contact me with your questions pertaining to the sanctioned National Sable specialty. I look forward to seeing you on May 10th for what is going to be a SABLE SPECTACULAR!! Sincerely, Tim Flickinger Tim Flickinger 2008 ISBA Nat l Specialty show chair
