Masco Millions We have only have two weeks left to meet the 1,000,060 page goal. Many teams are reading team novels or participating in group reads. Now, after reading all these pages submit them in Masco Million. We have only 117,821 pages to go to meet the goal of 1,000,060 pages. We do have an outdoor activity and treat planned for the afternoon of June 15. The middle school will meet on the football field after period 6. However, we have to meet the school goal of 1,000,060 pages on or before June 9 th in order to have the celebration. I know we can make this goal! Students and staff have consistently added in pages all year. We are so close, so please encourage your team to enter their pages. This week, 8 White is a prime example of what happens when all individuals on the team enter their pages read. Great job 8 White!! We ask that students do not wear jeans, casual beach type shorts, or t-shirts. Boys frequently wear khaki pants or dress shorts with a shirt and tie, however, many boys will also wear a golf shirt. Girls wear a nice skirt and shirt, dress pants and a shirt or sundress. We will relax the requirements on straps so that girls may wear thin straps or Masconomet Middle School Newsletter 2016 3
strapless sundresses, but will enforce, and ask you to help us enforce, that any skirt or dress is the appropriate length and fit. Thank you in advance for assisting us to make this important event a great day for everyone. The promotion ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 17 th at 8:30 a.m. in the Field House. Students may leave with their parents immediately following the ceremony if they choose to.
