HB BRUNNER PTA EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING 7:30pm March 23, 2015 Meeting called to order by Kathy Stewart, PTA President at _7:42 pm RECORDING SECRETARY- Stephanie Alber- Please sign our attendance sheet. Copies of our February s meeting minutes were emailed to committee chairs and are available here today. Any corrections or additions will be made during unfinished business. Please send me your committee reports for today s meeting; if you say more than a sentence then you have a report that should be sent to me. CORRESPONDING SECRETARY- Deb Lambert- A card was sent to Mrs. Brzebzinski to congratulate the family on the birth of Christopher Daniel. A sympathy card was sent to Mrs. Riley. TREASURER Karyn Gaulin FIRST V.P. Michelle Mauer- The room parents have been great about getting information out to parents. SECOND V.P. Mrs. Greenberg Day of Discovery and the Art Show were both wonderful. Positive feedback was given from the visiting Author and the Martin Luther King assembly. Service Learning has started. Two great programs are going on now: I squared and BIT THIRD V.P.-Carla Kelly- First Aid Kits are being sold Friday- March 27 th, Wednesday- April 1 st and Thursday- April 2 nd. The price will be one kit for $12 or 2 for $20. Ladies Night Out and Vender Night will be on Friday- April 24 th. HONORARY V.P. Scott Bortnick Over the winter the inside of the school was painted. PARCC testing went well and was uneventful. PTA Council Deb Lambert Publicity- Read to Succeed Sapna Llano Reflections Think Purple starts Monday. As in years past, we plan to do "you are special dolls" this week to hang next. Third and fourth graders will get folders. All kids get a pencil, bracelet, and heart to write a note to a senior. We also have asked Ms. Hirschorn to once again highlight books featuring self- esteem. Purple ribbons s will also be displayed. An Assembly will be on Monday- March 30 th with the Basketball guy.
